Top rated! Great location, cozy, stylish and clean! Directly on the streetcar line, our apartment has everything! Two bedrooms, three beds, one bath, full kitchen. Minutes from French Quarter, blocks from Magazine Street and the Convention Center. 24 hour bar next door.
Our apartment is directly on the historic St. Charles Avenue streetcar line. This old New Orleans home has a charming boutique downstairs and two apartments upstairs. Relax and make yourself at home!
***Please note: This home is between two businesses that can be loud in the evenings. There is a 24-hour bar and tattoo shop on either side. It does get loud at night with both music from the bar and tattoo shop patrons standing outside, and can definitely be heard inside the apartment. I have a sound machine to help drown the noise if any guests find it bothersome.***
Full use of entire apartment plus access to rear courtyard. Plenty of parking available on the street.
We have a charming little shop just downstairs from the apartment that is open daily from 9am-5pm. Guests can enjoy 10% off anything at the store. Store is open Monday through Friday from 9am-5pm.
The apartment is located directly on the streetcar line. You can see the stop from the apartment. You are just steps away from the streetcar to take you wherever you need to go.
This apartment is located about two and a half miles from the French Quarter and is a streetcar ride away to getting close to the Superdome. Magazine Street shopping is about a mile away. There is so much to see and do in New Orleans, and this location is in the middle of it all!
There is a bar next door that is open 24 hours and it can be loud at night.
**There is a $200 security/damage deposit collected 3 days prior to arrival, and returned shortly after your stay. This is done as a $200 hold on your method of payment, not a full charge. Please see the rental agreement (required to be read and signed before booking) for more details. ***
Permits: 22-CSTR-17419, 22-OSTR-08383 1. The booking guest must have their ID uploaded to their profile.
2. Please be mindful of the neighbors sleeping. We recommend being quiet after 8:30pm (weekdays including Sundays) and 9:00pm (weekends).
3. While early check-in / late checkout may be available, this must be arranged ahead of time for an extra fee. Unauthorized Late checkouts are a $50 charge for each hour after 11am - a 15 minute grace period is given. Late checkouts MUST be requested before 9PM the day before your departure.
4. Clean towels are a provided amenity. Each guest listed through your reservation will receive 1 bath towel and 1 face towel. We are unable to fulfill requests for additional towels during the duration of your stay. Plan ahead while packing, please bring extra towels if you or any of your guests anticipate needing more.
5. Smoking & vaping in the unit will result in a $500 deodorization fee. Please smoke outside of the property.
6. Unregistered guests and parties are prohibited by local laws and ILLEGAL. Our occupancy limits are set by local ordinance. Any guest found to have had a party or over-occupancy will be charged a $1,000 fee for non-compliance with local laws. Exterior cameras present at the property to verify these laws/house rules are not broken. As of May 2022, all platforms have specifically banned parties from their units. Violation of this rule will result in a ban from the platform.
7. Please do not hang or attach anything to the walls with push pins, tape, etc. or other painted surfaces.
8. Please do not use face towels to remove your makeup. It damages the towel.
9. If the space is left excessively dirty $50 will be charged for each additional hour of cleaning required. Removal of bodily fluids will result in a charge of $150. Glitter cleanup will result in a charge of $100
10. Unauthorized pets will result in an additional $250 deep cleaning cleaning fee and immediate request to leave. Pet Boarding recommendations available upon request. Both the owner and staff have pet allergies. If traveling with pets please inquire about our pet friendly units.
11. After you’ve read these rules, please send me a message with the words “yellow kangaroo” it will let me know that you have read the rules thoroughly.
12. Unfortunately, we cannot accept bookings from “Locals” at this time. Locals is meant to include anyone residing within 60 miles of New Orleans.
13. While we cannot receive any mail or packages to the space we will assist with getting packages shipped to New Orleans if needed.
14. Commercial video and photo shoots are strictly forbidden without prior and authorized consent. Associated day-rate fees, liability waivers and copyright contracts will apply if consent is given.
15. Message us for long term stays.
16. All of our TV`s are streaming, we do not provide any account information, you will have to log into your own. Please remember to log out at check out. We do not have cable TV.
17. RVs / Campers / Trailers are not allowed on the premises.
18. External power outlets can not be hooked up to the property under any circumstance.
19. Should you wish to receive an early check-in or late check-out, please let us know the day before and we will determine if it`s possible. We require time to prepare the unit for your stay or after your stay for the next guest and sometimes we are unable to accommodate. If we can accommodate, we will charge $25/hour for the additional booking time. This will also be in place for dropping luggage off or leaving your luggage after checkout time has passed. Payment will be requested after your additional time has been approved.
20. Lost Items: We return lost items for a $75 flat fee. This is to cover shipping costs, along with the time spent to retrieve & mail your item. If you leave anything at the unit, please let us know immediately.

Fine! Great place to stay - great location - great NOLA vibe - comfortable, clean, responsive host ( although we had no issues during our stay). Very convenient to many really good restaurants, shopping, etc. Would recommend and would revisit on next trip to NOLA.

Home away from home
We have stayed in multiple vrbo homes in multiple states over the years and while some have been nice and clean i have never felt so accommodated and truly at home as i did in this place! It was clean, stocked with everything needed for our stay, in a safe environment and surprisingly peaceful! But most of all i was so touched with how the hosts kept in touch with me and truly wanted to make sure our stay was nothing but welcoming and satisfying!!! If we ever come back to visit this amazing town i will be sure to book our stay here again!! Thank you so much for making us feel at home and welcomed in hour beautiful historic little peace of heaven!!! homeovervth

1st Time in New Orleans
I did enjoy the location, but next time I might stay further down as this was in the middle of St. Charles. The noise was not as bad as we thought. The area has everything you may need. Loved having an outdoor area (balcony). Water pressure is ok. LOVE that they provide coffee! and a filtered pitcher as we did not come up with any coffee or water and were fine until the next morning. We enjoyed our stay and were able to get in touch with the property manager easily.

This apartment was perfect for us. The rooms are well-kept and clean. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and had the plates, glasses, and cooking utensils we needed to prepare meals as needed. And we loved having the balcony overlooking St. Charles. As described in the listing, the apartment is next door to a 24-hour bar, so there can be music and conversation heard into the night. But there are sound machines in the bedrooms which worked well to mask the noise. My husband and I were not bothered at all by it. And my kids, who stayed in the bedroom closer to the bar entrance, didn’t use the sound machine and slept fine all night. The neighborhood is vibrant and central. Many restaurants and shops are within easy walking distance. And there’s a streetcar stop out front to easily get downtown to the French Quarter or uptown to the Garden District, Audubon Park, etc.We easily parked our car around the corner or on the next block. (The parking directly in front of the unit is metered.) We had no issues with that at all. The host, David, was very quick to respond when we reached out about extending our stay a day. And all the welcome and checkout information was detailed, helpful, and timely. I will definitely look to stay here again on our next visit to New Orleans.
