Promenez-vous sous les magnifiques Live Oaks et admirez l’une des plus belles architectures d’Antebellum du Sud. Allez Ă  pied Ă  de nombreux restaurants (y compris les sĂ©lections de prix James Beard), cafĂ©s, antiquitĂ©s, Ă©piceries fines et boutiques le long de la cĂ©lĂšbre rue Magazine. What a spectacular home to stay in. We spent the majority of our time outside in the beautiful courtyard and porch. The yard is gigantic and pool is so refreshing. We have never had a host, William, who was so accommodating and considerate. The stairs to the 2nd floor are very steep. We will definitely stay again.

Very pleasant

the house is very nice. It was lovely to have the outside space to lounge in too. We didn’t use the pool as it was still too chilly outside. Beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything we needed. Owner was quick to come and fix the one issue we had.

This place is incredible. It’s walking distance to wonderful options for food, but you’ll be hard pressed to leave the stunning and immaculate home and peaceful garden (with an awesome pool)! Give it no more thought and book it now while you still can.

Such a wonderful location and fantastic property! We came down with friends and three kids for some Mardi Gras parades and we’re not disappointed. This historic property was a beautiful starting point for our adventure and the hosts were very friendly and accommodating. Can’t wait for our next visit!

Garden district paradise

The home was just as described - beautifully furnished, clean, great location. We spent much our days walking through the garden district and tasting local foods, swimming in the wonderful pool. But the best thing about the house was its owner

This place exceeded our expectations. The home was exactly as described—immaculately clean, beautifully furnished, and tastefully appointed. The location was perfect, offering easy access and walkability to everything we needed. Parking at the house was simple and convenient. The surrounding neighborhood is safe and BEAUTIFUL. Communication with the host was seamless; they were responsive, helpful, and genuinely cared about our experience. Every little detail was thoughtfully planned to ensure a comfortable and stress-free stay. We prepared several meals in the incredible kitchen and enjoyed alfresco dining in the garden terrace. Everything was absolutely splendid! We’ve stayed in many vacation rentals before, but this one truly stands out. If you’re looking for a hassle-free, top-notch getaway, Oddfellows is it! We decided on a girls weekend to visit our cousin who is a resident at LSU. This is a lovely New Orleans home appointed with antiques and high end bathroom features, a great kitchen for gathering and a beautiful garden with salt water pool. Owner extremely helpful and flexible and knows his restaurants.

Amazing Birthday Weekend

We celebrated milestone BD here. House and hosts were amazing - the pictures do not do it justice and our hosts were incredibly gracious and supportive. We are foodies and the kitchen is wonderful and more than capable for handling a catered dinner. The garden is exquisite and the perfect retreat from colder climates up north. We look forward to coming back very soon.

The Real Deal

We were in Nola for my wife’s 60th. The house was wonderful and sets the mood for being in NO. It is appointed with period antiques and also modern amenities. The owner is very responsive and very helpful with details of the city. We can’t wait to return to the beautiful old lady on Phillip.

Really impressive

Great space, indoors and out. Lots of "wow factor" at this place. Secure parking was a nice feature. It was a little too cool for the pool, but we enjoyed sitting outside enjoying the weather while our dogs sniffed around the yard. Plenty of storage and plenty of space. Lots of natural light - so if you are a light sleeper bring an eye mask!

Mardi Gras like a local

Thank you William & Jules for hosting our group for Mardi Gras! The Ancient Odd Fellows House is distinctively New Orleans overflowing with its share of Garden District Charm. The first few days provided beautiful weather and while too chilly to swim, we were able to enjoy coffee in the serene outdoor space. The location allowed us to walk to the parade route, which was a big plus as well as stroll along Magazine Street. Check-in/Check-out was easy and there was more than enough space to enjoy a relaxing time among the revelry. Highly recommend Deanie’s around the corner as they did a great job catering meals. We took a lot of pleasure walking down to French Truck Coffee and snagging some cute Mardi Gras items from the local shops nearby. This is a special property which shines in a city filled with charming architecture.

Your Own Secret Garden

Our stay at the Oddfellows could not have been more alluring and special. This property has so much special character and is such a special NOLA location. The home has really high ceilings, beautiful flooring and walls, and is decorated in such good taste, from the books on the shelves to the wall decorations and fire places, it gave a wonderful flavor of New Orleans and enhanced our whole stay. It is perfectly located in the Garden District right off Magazine street. It is a short walking distance away from some really spectacular restaurants we barely had to use our car. Our hosts were perfect. Check in instructions were clear and it was so easy to access the property which was so clean. When we first entered the garden my teenager asked if we had rented a mansion, so expansive and gorgeous was the garden and pool area. Our kids enjoyed swimming in the pool each day while the parents lounged under the covered canopy and enjoyed the lovely fountain and garden. The beds were so comfortable, and the smart TVs made relaxing after the busy New Orleans days so easy. We even found the kitchen fully stocked with everything we would need for a night in. Our hosts thought of every single detail! We would not hesitate to stay here again, it was really absolutely perfect. We feel really lucky to have found the perfect New Orleans gem for our vacation in NOLA!

Garden District Beauty

This was our first time staying in the Garden District, but not our first time in NOLA. The owner of the house was very communicative and accommodating, even taking care of a minor house issue while we were there. Attention to detail throughout the house adds to its charm. The grounds and patio were immaculate. The pictures really can't capture the beauty of the home. The location was really great in a walkable area right off Magazine St. with breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktails all accessible within a very reasonable walking distance. There was parking for 3 cars which was perfect for us and a major coup for the garden district. The house is well equipped with bedding, blankets, towels, and a very well stocked kitchen. Keurig and drip coffee maker was available and ample refrigerator and freezer space. One of the bedrooms is downstairs with a sitting area and a private patio. All the rest are upstairs. The master is huge with super high, super cool ceilings, the library and an exquisite bathroom with a wonderful tub. Another of the bedrooms is at the end of the hall and shares a bathroom with the 4th bed. It should be noted, and perhaps it is and we missed it, that the 4th bed upstairs is not private. It does not have a wall separating it from the hallway. Great for kids, but not adults. Despite that, we would probably stay at this house again and again.

A Magical home

If you like new and perfect, keep looking. If you love grandeur, quirkiness, and historical then book now. This home is magical. Every room has something special and even after a week we continued to find more details to delight. The pool is saltwater and extremely refreshing. The garden is an oasis. The home has nooks and crannies for everyone to find privacy. The kitchen is very well equipped. A full fridge in the kitchen. A full freezer in the pantry. A fridge/freezer combo in the back hall. Which was helpful because during grad weekend, we cooked dinners at the home. But many breakfasts and lunches were picked up around the corner at Molly’s Rise and Shine, Stein’s Deli, or District. (We did not use the BBQ, there is one but we did not feel like cleaning it) The bedrooms all have private baths. The primary bedroom is huge. The back upstairs bedroom is well sized (although not sure that is it queen size bed, however there is an air mattress in the closet). The washer and drying is also located in this room. The downstairs bedroom has a small living space. Everyone raved about this shower. The dining room table expands and we had 12 one night. The living room seated several comfortably to watch the warriors games. But for me, the prize jewel is the porch. I could sit there day and night (until the mosquitos come out about 6pm). It was our favorite place for breakfast, lunch, and early cocktails. I cannot recommend this house strongly enough for those that prefer aged grandeur (and all the imperfections that comes with) over new or modern.

This place was the perfect choice for our family. Location is everything, and it was so wonderful to be a few steps from everything on Magazine Street and the Garden District, or a few blocks away for the streetcar to go to the French Quarter. The home is beautiful, clean, and comfortable, and also includes a lovely, private garden where we enjoyed our evenings. The host ensured we had all we needed. Our stay here made the trip top-notch! We had a wonderful stay here. The property was unique and special; it made for the perfect mini vacay. The pool was great to cool off in. The kitchen was one of our favorite rooms. It had lots of space to cook. This place has everything one would need for a comfortable stay. The location was excellent - quiet and close to everything. Steps from Magazine Street, this place was truly convenient. The hosts are beyond friendly and helpful. I added an extra night last minute, and they helped accommodate me immediately. Their list of food recommendations was much appreciated, for we tried out a few places that did not disappoint. We will be coming back next vacation!

Garden District Magic!

The House and Garden have fairy tale properties. We were three adult couples with a dog. Each couple had their own suite with plenty of privacy and enough of it's own character to make everyone feel they had a special stay. I think our pug was happiest. He had the whole walled courtyard to run around and chase the many tiny lizards. The area is very walkable for people and pets. Everything you could want is a 5- 10 minute walk. Trolly takes you to Bourbon street in about 30 minutes or Lyft in 20. The character, history, beauty of the house was amazing. The first floor suite is just off the kitchen with a full size fridge and extra private courtyard, who knew staying in a stable could be so delux! Could go on and on but just so grateful to have found the place. Oh yea, did I mention the saltwater pool. By the time you are done exploring the city it feels real good!

Tulane Graduation

This enchanting house was the perfect place to celebrate our son’s college graduation. The courtyard and common areas are great gathering spots for friends and family. Great location and the property manager was a pleasure to work with. Can’t wait to return!
