You'll love staying at Hidden Trails Retreat where relaxation is easy in our quiet and peaceful neighborhood. It is a short walk to Rumsey Park where you will find baseball, basketball, pickle ball, and tennis in addition to our hidden hiking/biking trails. We are also in the heart of Payson with great access to a variety of restaurants, bars, entertainment, and everything you need for a great getaway!

What a lovely home! If I had had my dog with me, it would have been a perfect set-up for her. This home is centrally located and very well-appointed. The neighborhood is quiet and it’s easy to find. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We loved our stay. The home is so charming and nicely furnished with so many small comforts to make you feel at home. The beds are very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet, yet close to all the amenities you want. We love to cook and really enjoyed the well equipped kitchen. The host was very great with communication in answering any questions.We will be back!

It’s a lovely home and owners provided snacks for us and pups as well. Cold water bottles in the fridge upon arrival were much appreciated. The fenced yard was great for the dogs. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need and I especially liked the coffee bar! Bedrooms were large, beds very comfortable and 2 full bathrooms were a plus.

Do Not forward your mail if your extended stay. Ordered items from Amazon, they were small items and were sent USPS. Mail box is a street side lock box. We stayed the month of August and met several nice people from the area. Hope to stay at this location next year.

Book this place with confidence! I couldn't have asked for a better place to meet the needs of our stay in payson. I highly recommend this place. Communication was rock solid, instructions were very clear and there wasn't any unnecessary to do list upon checkout. I have absolutely zero bad to say. If I find myself in the area again, this will be the first place I look to book.

The most well equipped house I have yet to stay in! Very clean and organized. Very nice backyard to have a Happy Hour with a friend and play ball with your dog. It's a great location - very was close to parks, shopping and restuarants.Jon the host was very kind and responsive. Great stay for a family as there are lots of activities to do both at the house and in the surrounding neighborhood.Thank you!

great location. dog friendly with fenced back yard and front porch. local dog park within easy walking distance. close to an Elks lodge. all shopping and restaurants are close by. I enjoy cooking, the lighting in the cook area is dim, needs a little lighting under the cabinets. we have booked the home for the month of August, and I have favorite pot and pans which I will bring. there is plenty cook ware there, but it is dated. again great place, great location, oh did i say we booked in the month of August, that should tell you how much we enjoyed Hidden Trails Retreat!

Very clean home and tons of entertainment options. A park is a very easy walk from the house which was a nice option for some outdoor fun without having to drive. The beds were very comfortable. The den does not have a door so if you need three bedrooms that are private, this might not work for you.

Hidden Trails Verbo was by far the nicest Verbo we’ve stayed at. A nice quiet neighborhood, relaxing home and backyard. It was clean and it was like being at home. The pictures on the website are exactly how the house is, which isn’t always the case. Jon our host always responded to our questions immediately. We also loved how pet friendly it is. The neighbors were nice as well. We highly recommend staying here if you’re looking for a place in Payson! We loved everything about it.Dennis & Rhonda

We had amazing experience here! We wanted to come to Payson for a short weekend trip to hike with our dogs and we were not disappointed. We felt very at home here, they go above and beyond with accommodations, and provide many different things that your pups might need! We will definitely be back

The hosts have thought of everything you could need for your get-away! They strive to make you and your pet(s) enjoy your stay. Pets are an additional 50 fee (not refundable) which apparently “fell off” of the listing and came as a surprise. The hosts have said they’ve corrected with VRBO and let us check in a little early as a concession. Other than that, couldn’t have asked for more.

Amazing property. Comfortable stay all the way around. My only complaint is the knives in the kitchen were a bit dull, so if you plan on cooking most nights like we did it may be nice to get a decent knife. Other than that it was all great. Host was very communicative and laid out the town well in their guest book. Will for sure stay again.

We are glad that you had a great day and hope to see you again soon! A quick note… We do have sharp knives. The knife block of Henkel knives on the counter next to the toaster are very sharp. The ones you used were faberwear, and we replaced those with the Henkels… but we kept them under the counter for backup! We are happy to offer almost any amenity you can imagine and we even supply a knife sharpener that is easy to use in one of our drawers of utensils. We hope you’ll look forward to coming up and trying some chef skills in our kitchen again but with sharper knives next time! Thank you so much for staying and thank you for your review!

In response to your review, we feel a score of 4/10 was highly irregular. According to other guest reviews, we consistently deliver an exceptionally clean home with every comfort of home in working condition to every guest. In fact, this is our goal. We provided this standard of excellence to you. You brought a dog, which you did not make a reservation for, and then denied that it was your dog or that he/she was staying there. When the dog was not picked up the first night, we tried to charge you a pet-cleaning fee. We do this so that every guest can get an exceptionally clean house. Again, you denied the dog was staying and did not pay the fee. Additionally, you decided to plug in your extremely large RV van into our house. As a result, the circuit and GFCI were blown. No explanation was given as to why this van was plugged into our house. We feel that you gave us a review based on being called out for the very unusual situations which you caused. For potential guests reading your review, we feel that because your review stands out so much among stellar reviews, they can understand why we felt compelled to write this response. Had we known what you were planning to do, we would not have accepted your reservation.

This house definitely feels like a home! Wonderful neighborhood with walking distance to a nice hiking trail, and every little detail was thought of to make the home entertaining and welcoming.

Payson is the largest city with the best access to all parts of the Mogollon Rim which is known to some as a mini Grand Canyon for its beauty in nature. Our house provides unique access to the back country as well as every amenity in Payson. The physical house is set up to be perfect for entertaining and comfortable and relaxing. We have tried to provide every single amenity so that you do not have to waste any time shopping for anything but food. (and maybe propane) Our back yard is private and completely fenced so that you may enjoy your time with your family, kids of all ages, and your furry friends.
