In response to your review, we feel a score of 4/10 was highly irregular. According to other guest reviews, we consistently deliver an exceptionally clean home with every comfort of home in working condition to every guest. In fact, this is our goal. We provided this standard of excellence to you. You brought a dog, which you did not make a reservation for, and then denied that it was your dog or that he/she was staying there. When the dog was not picked up the first night, we tried to charge you a pet-cleaning fee. We do this so that every guest can get an exceptionally clean house. Again, you denied the dog was staying and did not pay the fee. Additionally, you decided to plug in your extremely large RV van into our house. As a result, the circuit and GFCI were blown. No explanation was given as to why this van was plugged into our house. We feel that you gave us a review based on being called out for the very unusual situations which you caused. For potential guests reading your review, we feel that because your review stands out so much among stellar reviews, they can understand why we felt compelled to write this response. Had we known what you were planning to do, we would not have accepted your reservation.

We are glad that you had a great day and hope to see you again soon! A quick note… We do have sharp knives. The knife block of Henkel knives on the counter next to the toaster are very sharp. The ones you used were faberwear, and we replaced those with the Henkels… but we kept them under the counter for backup! We are happy to offer almost any amenity you can imagine and we even supply a knife sharpener that is easy to use in one of our drawers of utensils. We hope you’ll look forward to coming up and trying some chef skills in our kitchen again but with sharper knives next time! Thank you so much for staying and thank you for your review!
