We had a great time. We stayed during a very hot weekend and that pool was perfect to cool down and relax. The local wineries were fantastic and then having a cozy place to stay was a nice extra treat.
Charming farmhouse, surrounded by orchards & fails of vegetables. Absolutely beautiful place to wake up and have your coffee, with a view of the hills and enjoy the sun.The house is like going back inntime. Hardwood floors, original wood doors with key locks (usable) a formal dining room, living room and tv area. The master bath has been updated. There is a games room, all windows and a telescope! The highlight for us was the pool! It was great to float and cool off, lieten to yacht rock and enjoy the afternoon, after coming bavk from wine tasting! Make sure to get a map of all the wineries! We dont have kids, but if you do, the pool is not fenced and if you have dogs, the yard is open to the road out back, and through the trees as well. The pool area needs some repair as its very narrow along one side of the cement that is higher and open to the yard below. Thr location is wonderful for visiting all of the markets, wineries and only 15 min from Osoyoos. Our dogs loved the huge front yard, and walking the country roads. We hope to be back!
The property is well located and with well equipped kitchen utensils. My dogs loved the pool. I wish there was a garden hose just outside the front door to wash my dogs before getting into the house to keep things clean. Also, the wifi network was too slow for the TV to play YouTube and videos were always lagging. Netflix did not play at all.
Please be aware that property is not suitable for families with young children, extra needs or mobility issues. The pool deck was damaged and does not contain a perimeter safety fence. Unfortunately we did not find this out until we arrived. The host was very responsive and quick to address our needs as guests. We mutually agreed that this was not a suitable property due to safety concerns and therefore refunded our stay.
Our group had a phenomenal time at the property. Great location perfect for where we needed to be. Having a big space to cook/eat is a huge bonus. No complaints
A lovely little farmhouse, very well-situated for winery visits. The garden is perfect for sitting in to enjoy lovely evenings. Our host was fantastic - easy to contact and responsive. The property is a little oasis in Oliver.
We had a blast staying at this home. There were five of us staying to celebrate my brother-in-lawâs 40th birthday. There was more than enough room to accommodate us, plenty of beds in the home, and a salt water pool on the property which was gorgeous. There is plenty to do, with the pool, table tennis, board games, cards, movies, etc. Itâs a great spot to stay if youâre in the Oliver area.
What a neat house! My family thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay. The property had everything we needed, the pool was great for hot afternoons and we were close to everything we wanted to explore: horseback riding, biking trails, go karting and Osoyoos just down the road. The kids are ready to come back next year!
It's a clean, well-maintained house with lots of character on a nice and spacious property. I stayed here with a group of friends and we all had a great time, would book again!
Born and raised in El Salvador. I moved to Canada over 30 years ago with my mother and uncle. I love my country Canada and feel BC is the best place to live in the world. I am very fortunate, my partner is from former Yugoslavia, I get to travel to Europe every summer and explore Eastern and Western Europe.
