Maison front de mer de charme a une pente douce Ă  l'eau avec les principaux des vues spectaculaires de canaux d'eau de large. Un plan ouverte spacieuse de-chaussĂ©e avec 2 800 sq. Ft sur 2 niveaux, avec 1 400 sq. Ft sur le niveau supĂ©rieur et 1 400 sq. Ft sur le niveau infĂ©rieur. La maison dispose de fenĂȘtres lacustre du sol au plafond Ă  travers le plan niveau supĂ©rieur d'Ă©tage ouvert entier, une "Ă©cran plat Ă  l'Ă©tage et un 55" 46 Ă  Ă©cran plat sur le tĂ©lĂ©viseur de niveau infĂ©rieur / VCR / DVD, d'une cuisine gastronomique rĂ©cemment rĂ©novĂ© entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e, salle Ă  manger rĂ©gion, et grande salle. La suite parentale avec salle de bain complĂšte et une 2Ăšme (Ă  l'Ă©tage) chambre Ă  coucher avec salle de bain complĂšte complĂ©ter le niveau supĂ©rieur. This was a great vacation home. It is newly remodeled with great views from inside the house. We had 4 couples (8 adults) and were all very comfortable. The highlight is the patio with an awesome fire pit with beautiful sunset views and the huge dock with space to dock both of our boats and still have room to fish and just sit and enjoy the view. The owner's communication was fantastic. We reached out due to one minor issue, but he responded very quickly, was on top of it, and had it fixed within a couple hours. I highly recommend staying at this house.

We had a blast! The view was gorgeous. We really appreciated all of the extra cooking supplies, storage containers, and toiletries. It all came in handy with our family. The prevalence of deer was a huge hit with the kiddos.

Lake Vacation

The house was extremely clean and well cared for by the owner. Everyone in my group had a great time. There were nine of us and we still had room to spare. We had a great time with the kayaks, paddle boards and pedal boat. Our visit was over the Memorial Day weekend and the weather was a little chilly but that didn’t keep us out of the water! We highly recommend this property!!

Wonderful place!

We really enjoyed our stay on Smith Mountain Lake at this wonderful property! I have never seen a rental kitchen so well stocked. The owner was helpful and responded quickly to any questions we had. And the location was absolutely beautiful. It was everything you would want in a lake property rental!

Great location and host.

First of all I want to say what a great host! Also the house was very nice and in a great location. Everything we needed in the kitchen and so many extras for the lake. Hope to return to this home for another great vacation.

Awesome house

We enjoyed our week at SML and the house was perfect for our family of 11. There were plenty of beds and plenty of space. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. The location was great - close to Food Lion and restaurants and a gorgeous view with a quiet cove for swimming. Loved all the water toys and used them all - kayaks, paddleboards, floats and paddle boat. The walk from house to Lake was also ideal for the seniors that were with us. Not too long or too steep. Tom was very responsive and easy to work with. We would definitely go back.

Ringing in the New Year at SML

Spent a 4 day New Years weekend with out of state family and grandkids at this amazing lake front house. The location, wide open views, ease of the slope getting to the dock, well designed fire pit with plenty of firewood, hot tub that seemed brand new, very clean and beautiful home with everything you could possibly think of, even little extras that you didn’t think of, clean, well organized lake equipment, nice, comfortable, ample seating to relax or visit and talk with family inside and outside, and an exceptional host, make this one of the best VRBOs we’ve stayed in. We’ve had great experiences with the rentals we choose because we always check reviews, make sure the house is what we’re expecting and ask the owner if we need clarification. That being said, this rental and Tom, the owner of this lake house, are top notch and I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Would love to come again and stay at this house during the summer.

Great views! Great host!!

We agreed with most of the reviews that mentioned what a wonderful, helpful host Tom was and how the house didn’t lack for anything. Kitchen was well equipped as stated. Our only issue was the stove was hard to cook on- temperature was inconsistent. Instructions stated not to use higher setting but we couldn’t get the water to boil. King bed was ok- not great. Basement was nice but stayed much colder than first floor. One bedroom there had no air vents. The dock was a little small and the 2 floating docks were hard to stand on when wakes came it- very often, and the stationary dock was inconvenient to use. The master bath could use a towel rack . The master br could use a chair. So I rated it a 4 because I think some items could be improved. That said, we had a great week and enjoyed our stay very much!

SML bliss

We love this house. The owner is very informative about everything and can be easily reached. The house is well stocked with everything. Our niece who lives in Roanoke came to visit with her little boys one day, and the kids all loved playing on the mat in the lake. It’s a quick trip to the marina where we can rent a boat.

What a beauty spot!

We arrived this house around evening. As soon as we walked in, we were attracted by incredible sun set right across the glass doors! Without wasting a minute, we opened a bottle of wine, grabbed few glasses, then sat on the deck chairs... our enjoyment has began! I really don't have to mention how well the house is equipped, enough rooms and beds sufficient for up to 12 people, how nice the owner's communication was -- these already supported by other people's reviews -- only with the breath taking view of sun set, you won't get it wrong!

Gorgeous house in a stunning location.

The house has a large, open floorplan with a fully appointed kitchen with a lovely vista of lake sunsets, We particularly enjoyed the firepit and hot tub, which has the same sunset view.. The sleeping and bathing arrangements were spacious and comfortable.. Looking forward to renting again in the summer!

Long weekend with Family

The house was great for a long weekend with the family. The property was well stocked, and it is in a beautiful location right on the lake. We enjoyed the hot tub and used the kayaks and canoes on the lake. We also took the time to drive up to the Appalachian Traiil for some amazing hikes. Highly recommended.

Best house in Moneta

We have come to Moneta three years in a row during the fall, and this has been the best house we have stayed in so far. We intend to come back here next fall. The house was clean, stocked with everything we needed, had outstanding views and was close to restaurants, stores, wineries, and the marina. There were even tennis courts and basketball courts within walking distance. The house is impeccably clean. The kitchen is modern and the appliances are great. We loved using the hot tub and the fire pit on chilly nights. We used their available kayaks daily to roam around the lake. Overall, this house provided us with the best comforts of a home away from home so that we could relax and unwind.

Relaxing Labor Day Weekend

We had the best time at this home on Smith Mountain Lake! It was the perfect size for our family of 10. My grandchildren are so excited about a return trip to this home during Lanor Day 2023!

Beautiful SML Property!

Our family of 12 just stayed at this wonderful property! The house is spacious and clean with large living areas. We tend to hang together in the kitchen and family room so it worked well for us. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. There is a large deck facing the water providing a great place to enjoy morning coffee or evening beverages. The lake is located just steps away and the large docks are perfect for enjoying the sun and water. Water toys including kayaks and paddle boards are also free to use. Lots of amenities are nearby (boat rental, tennis, basketball, jet skis, etc) as well. The owner was super responsive when we had any questions. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time at SML and we highly recommend this property!

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The owners were full time residents of Smith Mountain Lake from 1994 until 2003, when a job relocation forced them to leave the area (temporarily, we'll definitely be back!). The home location was chosen as the perfect setting in a cove ideal for swimming, and also on a point with spectacular wide water/main channel views.
