Wagon Wheel House in the Village of Palisades is a spacious and inviting canyon retreat perfect for families, friends, or groups. Inside, the home comfortably sleeps your group in three soft queen-size beds. The fully stocked kitchen makes it easy to prepare meals, while the living room invites you to relax on a cozy couch and watch a movie on the 72" TV. Step outside to the common area, where comfortable chairs and a BBQ grill await for al fresco dining under the wide Texas sky.

The surrounding area offers plenty to explore. Hike and photograph the stunning Palo Duro Canyon, visit the legendary Big Texan Steak Ranch, or check out the quirky Cadillac Ranch. Great location

Perfect space for our needs! We loved being close enough to Palo Duro and Amarillo for easy day trips. The spacious living room gave us plenty of room and the kitchen was great for preparing most of our meals at home.

Palo Duro Canyon

They had everything we needed! It's a house with history built into the rock in the canyon only 20 minutes to Palo Duro where we hiked. We ate dinner in the enclosed porch watching the beautiful sunsets and the funny mule deer.

Loved our stay

Me and my family loved staying at this place. We went for Christmas to stay away from all the city noise. Host was very nice and comprehensive on having some other family members go for a few hours as it was my mother's birthday.

Great place for a Palo Duro visit!

Our family of 5 planned a long weekend in Amarillo to visit Palo Duro Canyon and chose to stay here. We couldn't have been happier with the choice - the property was fantastic for our family. It had plenty of space both indoor and out to spread out and was well laid out for both family time and sleeping. I would highly recommend this place for anyone planning a trip to Amarillo who needs a few bedrooms for their family.

Nice quiet and engaging with nature

Facilities were perfect for what we needed. Saw numerous dear during our stay. Close enough to Amarillo and Palo Duro for sightseeing but far enough away to see stars at night.

We loved our stay . Enjoyed Palo dura canyon and Caprock . Lots of hiking and wildlife seen the deer and wildlife at the property was nice to see . The jeep tour was amazing . We will be back maybe in the Fall when temps are much cooler

Weekend getaway

We traveled to Amarillo to hand off the kids for a visit with their grandparents in New Mexico. It was a lovely, restful place to spend a couple of nights. Loved seeing the deer! Hubby enjoyed the piano. The front porch was lovely, and the bedrooms were comfy!
