Enjoy the sunset at beautiful Lake Winnipesaukee, Enjoy the Lake view from the firepit, Castle in the clouds is just a short drive , Shopping at the Old Country store , Meredith and Wolfeboro less than 30 minutes away. hiking near by. Nice peaceful location for a great getaway.

Quiet, private, small and comfy

Short stay but had a wonderful time despite the weather. Great location to many attractions and restaurants. Ideally located near the lake, wasn’t hard to find.

Great cozy getaway

We had an excellent weekend away here. The location is so close to castle in the clouds which is such a stunning view. You’re just a few steps away from the lake. Would definitely come back.

Relaxing

Enjoyed the quiet and peaceful time near the lake . The place is perfect for that destress ing time needed, sitting on the deck or relaxing on the beech only feet from the place it can not be beat. Plan on comming back many more times.

Very nice place with awesome location. Owner Shelly pleasant and accommodating. The only thing I could suggest would be an earlier check in time than 4pm.

Perfect Romantic Getaway!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Romantic Cottage in Moultonborough, ME. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and made sure everything was perfect for our stay. The studio was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. It’s tucked away in a peaceful, quiet area, providing the perfect atmosphere for a romantic getaway. The surrounding nature was stunning, making our stay even more memorable. We highly recommend this charming cottage to anyone looking for a serene and romantic escape. Five stars all the way!

Rustic and quiet

Space was just like the pictures. Rustic, comfy and quiet and the lake area was so close to the rental unit and just beautiful and peaceful. Owners were friendly and accommodating. Area was easy to navigate.

This cute studio apartment was awesome! Short walk to water with chairs set on the beach for us by the owners. The hosts were very friendly and informative. Loved the fact that we could cook breakfast as all the necessary cookware and eating utensils were provided. Will definitely book this again!

Cute place for an awesome stay!

This was my husband and I's first stay at a VRBO and we really enjoyed the experience. The place was clean and had little touches to make it feel cozy. We felt Mark and Shelly were very responsive and respectable when we had a simple question that we should have known. As we didn't know what to expect, we found everything to be exactly what we'd hope for.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. Mark and Shelly were excellent hosts, very friendly and made us feel welcome. The unit was spotless and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We loved being so close to the lake and could walk to the state beach in less than a minute. In the evening we even enjoyed sitting around their bonfire with them swapping stories and laughs. My husband and I both had a great time and look forward to a return visit.

Perfect lake life get away

We stayed for 3 nights. The studio apartment was perfect for a couple. It’s feet from a nice, little beach with a boat ramp and swimming. The owners were so inviting and warm - we enjoyed getting to know them and the neighbors. The location is quiet and much less populated than other areas on the lake but after a day on the water we weren’t looking for bars and parties. Definitely recommend this listing if you want a quiet getaway.

Another Great Stay!

This is our second Memorial Day weekend spent at this beautiful rental. Mark & Shelly are so wonderful and accommodating! The place is beautiful and location is perfect - steps away from the water. Its so lovely how the neighborhood comes down and shares the sunsets together at the beach. Thank you, mark & Shelly for another great stay! This may be a yearly tradition moving forward. We will see you again!

I booked this room to stay overnight after a concert. You had to book for 2 nights, I guess that's what everyone is doing now. The room was really nice and comfortable. We did not have any communication with the property manager. The water was beautiful, and the restaurants around we very good.

Lake Style Living !

WOW. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for my weekend get a way. I like to solo travel and as a female who does this I must say I felt totally safe. Not only was my place clean and had every amenity I needed, the hosts Mark and Shelly were very accommodating. The pictures do not even do this place justice. It is literally at the top of the beach. Which means NO concerns about having to drive anywhere or having to deal with traffic. I have to mention the sunsets are unbelievably breathtaking. Go down to the beach at least 15 mins before your app says is the sunset so you can get the full affect. The neighbors in this lake community were also as awesome as Mark and Shelly. I even was invited to a fire pit party by one neighbor and another took my out on a jet ski for the day. I never expected any of that but I must say it was a nice added bonus. People are simply very nice in this community which made my mini retreat even that more enjoyable !

Fantastic Fall Get-Away Gem!

This studio was far better than expected! We were welcomed by a very thoughtful personalized greeting note accompanied by a complimentary bottle of wine. Mark & Shelly's added cozy furnishings and the cleanliness throughout offers home-like comforts. We highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a romantic, quiet get-away just down the street from a beautiful waterfront lake & park.
