"Crab Inn" is a very sweet, very loved newer 2 bedroom / 2 bath home located just off Ft. Velasco and also offers a LIFT for groceries or belongings only not for people to use, fire pit and a beautiful fenced yard which will provide a safe space for children and pets. Other unique features is a gorgeous wrap around covered deck and an outside shower downstairs. This property is decorated very nice & newly updated with covered porch, new exterior and interior paint, new fenced yard safe for children and pets, fire pit and much more.

It has a deck huge wrap around deck that provides a view of the beach, ship channel and intracoastal so you can enjoy the sunrise and sunset. It is a spacious 1050 sq. ft. home with a moderately sized open concept living area. This house has a perfect location right off of the ship channel which makes for a prime spot to watch super tankers, egrets hunting baitfish and makes watching other wildlife in their natural habitats a great learning experience.

Pet-Friendly Vacation Home - Your Furry Friends Are Welcome! We know that pets are part of the family, and we are happy to welcome them at this home! Guests may bring up to two pets per property with a $100 non-refundable pet fee per pet. If you have more than two pets, please reach out to us - we may be able to make an exception. For small breed pets under 10 pounds, we will do our best to accommodate your request. We ask that all pet owners be mindful of the home and community, clean up after their pets, and follow any local pet guidelines. If you have any questions or special requests, just let us know - we are happy to help!

This precious property is a short walk or bike ride to the popular pedestrian beach area. There is also a kayak launch, walking bridge, observation deck and walking trail to Jetty and Jetty Park. The Jetty Park features a walk-over for beach access, great fishing, public restrooms and paved parking. You are also within walking distance of the new City Splash Pad & Butterfly Nature Trail.

If fishing is on your list there is a public boat ramp just down the road with a lot of fishing spots all within walking distance. Enjoy riding bikes and exploring? This is a quiet neighborhood perfect for that as well. If you want to get around the island consider renting or bringing a golf cart. Surfside has very nice golf cart paths that allow you to travel around the island easily.

Thanksgiving visit with kids & grandbabies.

We had a fabulous Thanksgiving week at The Crab in Surfside Beach! The house was exactly as described in the listing and more exceeding our expectations. It’s clean, well-appointed and has great beach decor. Spacious deck, great location, communication and everything we could have asked for.

Great Property in the middle of Surfside

We needed a place that we could bring our dog with us. The house was great, and had everything we needed. If you want the Surfside experience, this is the perfect place.

The crab house was everything advertised and more. The house was very clean and all the amenities were more than expected. Short trip to the beach. Will definitely stay here again.

Beach Resort Services saved our vacation!

After a horrible experience with 979 Vavation Property Services, Beach Resort Services saved our Vacation. The house was super clean, reservation and booking was super easy, and communication with the property manager was awesome! We will definately be rebooking in the future with BRS!

Perfect little house for a family visit with a dog

House was clean and everything was in good shape. Couch was new and very comfortable. Kitchen had most everything (fridge needs a lightbulb). Cleaning products were available to cleanup any little messes. Outdoor shower was nice to use with the puppy and for us. Really a great place to stay. The AC works great so I was a little cold even - of course I forgot a spare blanket this trip. A couple of throws would be handy.

A/C didn't work when we got there / lift key wasn't there until the next day and the man who showed up didn't know how worked / he finally figured it out and left. we had already moved our stuff in and didn't try till the next day/ tried it out but it went down about 8 to 10 inches and stopped / didn't use it /we were only there for 3 days. didn't fell like waiting/ then the last day we were here NO TOILET PAPER !!!!! / then the day we checked out we found no automatic dish washer soap /not sure dishwasher works / as I see it ,this was the first long weekend of the summer and everything should have been checked out before showed up Herb Small

At Beach Resort Services, we are more than just a vacation rental company—we are a small, family-owned and operated business with deep roots in Surfside Beach. Our story began in 1957, when our parents stopped in Surfside to fish after their honeymoon in Galveston. What started as a weekend getaway soon became a lifelong tradition, leading to summers spent here as a family before finally making Surfside our home in 1976.

In 1992, our mother and founder, Catherine, who had been managing properties with Brannan Realty since 1976, took over as property manager for 13 homeowners in need—and that’s how Beach Resort Services was born. Since then, we have continued to grow, but we have never lost sight of what makes us special—family, tradition, and a passion for helping others create unforgettable beach memories.

Today, Beach Resort Services is run by a dedicated team of three—Denise, Drew, and Hope—who work tirelessly to provide exceptional service, trustworthy management, and a personal touch to every guest and homeowner we serve.
