Come create your own memories at our beautiful 5BR/4BA home in Woodland Park, Colorado for a perfect getaway while still enjoying the warmth and comfort of your home! We work hard to provide a beautiful fully furnished home and of course, you do not want to miss out on our AMAZING patios and NEW LUXURY HOT TUB! This property is one of the few places you will find a Hot Tub that is completley private. We are a family that likes to stay in vacation rentals ourselves, so we have tried to address the small things often overlooked that make a quality experience. This is the perfect home for a family vacation or a multi-couples getaway.

Nothing compares to the gorgeous mountain experience of the Pikes Peak Region. Woodland Park is a friendly mountain town just 16 miles north of Colorado Springs and the surrounding area offers something for everyone: Air Force Academy, Garden of the Gods, 7 Falls, Cave of the Winds, Santa's Village, Pikes Peak, Cripple Creek/Victor – historic mining towns with major gambling/casino, white-water rafting, hot springs and the best fly fishing anywhere.

If you are looking to settle down for rest and relaxation, our home is nestled back in a quiet/warm neighborhood, has high-speed internet with Wifi, streaming TV, two King Size beds, a fully equipped kitchen, a full-size washer/dryer, a front patio and a large deck with gas grill and firepit in the backyard. This is the perfect place to renew the body, mind, and soul. Maximum occupancy 10.

We take pride in guest satisfaction and hospitality. In fact, we originally opened our home for financial reasons, but have continued to rent our home because we love to help others create their own memories.

You have access to the entire house and yard. (note: garage is not available to renters.)

We LOVE Woodland Park! It's a beautiful mountain town with a population of about 7,000 and an elevation of about 8,500 feet. Downtown Woodland Park is a short 10 min walk and has everything you need (fuel, restaurants, groceries, and a Super Walmart.)

There is some basic taxi service in the area and a shuttle that travels to Cripple Creek.

Beautiful, fun property

We stayed at this property with our daughter and her family. Everyone had plenty of space (and lots of bathrooms!), and we all enjoyed the hot tub and fireplaces and foosball and games. Great (quiet but convenient) location in a lovely area. We would definitely stay here again.

Family Thanksgiving

We really liked the house, having 4 bathrooms made it very comfortable for our small family. We enjoyed using the hot tub, foosball and game room area. The location was very convenient to all the Colorado Springs area attractions. The kitchen had everything we needed to make a big thanksgiving meal. Communication with Jim was easy and responsive. I really appreciated the welcome beverages after a 12 hour drive.

Great place for family gathering

My extended family rented this house while we were in town for a wedding and it worked out very well. Host was wonderful to work with, accommodations were very pleasant, neighborhood was peaceful and quiet and well situated to everything we needed. The only thing I would mention is that the bedroom downstairs does not have a door separating it from that living space - it wasn't a problem for our group, but might be a consideration for someone else. Overall, this was a great find and we would definitely rent again in the future!

Sit on the front porch and watch deer

While the house is big enough to sleep 12, only my husband and I stayed. We loved going on the front porch in the mornings to drink coffee. Several families of deer roam the neighborhood. So fun to watch. In the evenings, we soaked in the hot tub and sat by the propane-fueled fire pit. The house was comfortable and just as advertised. The location is close to Woodland Park and nearby restaurants. We hiked three places while we were there. The Crags was a terrific hike if you are interested. We would stay again!

Great Home With Every Amenity Possible

We really enjoyed this updated home with a cute bear theme. Th most well stocked kitchen of any rental we have ever stayed. Really nice fire pit and hot tub. Great electronics. Our only complaint was the neighborhood was a little noisy. But the back deck was a nice escape. Jim was a great property manager with excellent communication.

Great Family Getaway

Very well, laid out with ample room for eight of us. Nice rooms for all adults and kids. Roomy and comfortable. Stock very well, but be sure to bring extra paper towels and toilet paper, as only two rolls per bathroom are supplied and only one extra roll of paper towels. Most people don’t bring extra, but we typically do. While this is in a neighborhood, it is a very quiet. We had a small family of deer on the property every day. It’s very close to a big park as well as restaurants and grocery stores, so if you do forget something, it’s very easy to go and get it. The property manager, Jim Newberry, was incredible! He was very communicative and friendly. I wasn’t used to using a tablet for checking in and obtaining property information, but he made it simple and it was actually a great system as opposed to the standard notebook done with printed sheets. It was a nice personal touch. They even had a welcome on the fridge with all of our names. Oh! Speaking of the fridge, it was so nice to come into a VRBO rental with a completely empty freezer and refrigerator. We had plenty of room for all of our food and did not worry about anything left by the previous renters. There were spices to use provided by the owners. There were several games and puzzles, if you forget to bring your own. There were more than enough towels for all of us and there are separate towels for the hot tub. That was very nice. We would definitely return here for another family getaway.

Nice Family Home in Woodland Park

Very nice family home which was perfect for our multi-generational family group. Safe, walkable neighborhood, and the home has nice bedrooms, baths, kitchen, laundry, and outdoor spaces. We liked being in town for easy access to restaurants, groceries, etc. The property manager was very responsive when we needed technical assistance! Definitely recommend to families needing multiple beds/baths and a comfortable pleasant home and location. Would choose this home again in the WP area.

Great stay with lots of memories

Our family enjoyed a week long stay at the house with 4 generations of family staying at the home. It offered all the comforts of home with a great layout and a hot tub to boot. It was so close to so many fun daily adventures and we saw bears which was a fun experience for everyone. Highly recommend!

Great for wheelchair user and family.

Nice and comfortable. Nice setting. Loved the pine trees and accessibility. Many VRBOs are listed as wheelchair accessible which are NOT. This one IS. Awesome!

Location and space was perfect for our stay. Close to Cripple Creek and Colorado Springs along with everything in between. The amount of room space was great for everyone to have privacy during the stay. Hot tub was great after a long day.

A Relaxing Mountain Retreat

This Woodland Park vacation home was a perfect retreat for our group of 5, with a quality foosball table (3-man goalie style), dartboard, a spacious and well-jetted hot tub, movies (we watched Smokey and the Bandit - a classic), and board games. We all agreed it'd be a great retreat location for a family (or two) in the future. Jim was a great host, quick to respond to all our questions. The master suite is *huge* and seems well set up for folks with mobility issues. Would definitely recommend!

Woodland Hideaway Perfection

When my girl friends and I wanted a girls trip to Colorado, we looked for just the right place. Woodland Park was further than Denver than we planned but it had everything we wanted. The house is spacious and the hot tub was perfect! The owners were always quick to communicate & helpful. The community is hospitable and was perfect for our getaway. I’d book again here in a heartbeat!

Quiet of Woodland Park

This quiet neighborhood is perfect for any getaway, and convenient to many of the natural attractions in and around Colorado Springs. The hot tub was great after a long day, and having towels designated for the tub were great. The game room was a special surprise and the first floor master is handicap accessible. Pleasant communication with the property manager who made us feel welcome. I would definitely visit again!

Home away from home

Perfect family vacation home for our multi-generational winter vacation. Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, space to decompress. Fully stocked kitchen, laundry room, even amazing robes. When going on vacation you miss the comforts of home, this home was welcoming and comfortable and we made memories for a lifetime. Jim was very helpful with recommendations and quick to answer any concerns. I wish every vacation home away from home could be this amazing. Thanks for the memories!

My (Jaime) family moved to Woodland Park in 1994. Since that time we have seen many changes, explored the many highlights this area has to offer, and made many wonderful memories with friends and family. As the years have gone by, the appreciation for Woodland Park and this house have only grown. After Thomas and I were married, it was he who saw the big picture and insisted we find a way to keep this home in the family. Now I truly understand why. This is our happy place. Now we have three children who love being here just as much as we do and we love that they have started making memories of their own.
In 2020, my mom passed away and my dad decided to travel the world. As a result, the house now belongs to us. While we have considered living here full time, it would be a challenge with our professions. As a result, we spend as much time here as we can and when we aren’t here, we have decided to open up our home to guests such as yourselves in hopes that you can enjoy your time here too.
Transparently, it’s a little hard to open up your home to strangers. But we hope our guests will treat this house as it is their own and make the most of their time here. We are not some big property management company - we are just a family sharing our home with your family.

We have tried to include many of the items that are often overlooked in other vacation rentals. You will find TWO KING BEDS, the most beautiful Master Suite that you will find, plenty of linens, a good start of paper goods (toilet paper, paper towels, napkins), trash bags, spices, and kitchen appliances. We have also worked hard on our outdoor attractions with a fire pit, a front porch and a backyard patio with yard lights that is completely fenced in.
