Welcome to The Smiling Moose! Nestled in the trees, it feels like you're far away from the crowds, yet it's only 5 minutes to the center of Woodland Park. Amazing views of Pikes Peak from 3 of the 4 bedrooms, the living room, dining room, hot tub, and the oversized deck. Recently renovated, it has a new kitchen, new master bathroom attached to the master bedroom, and a 2 car garage with 7kW (40A CCS 1772) EV charging included.

NOTE - NO ANIMALS allowed, including service animals due to severe allergies and asthma among two members of our family. We have our (hypoallergenic) poodles there sometimes, so it may not be suitable for guests with allergies.

Neighbors are within earshot, so please limit noise, especially during evening hours.

Local attractions include Garden of the Gods, Cave of the Winds, Pikes Peak, the Air Force Academy, and the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo. It's 20 minutes to Manitou Springs, 40 minutes to Colorado Springs Airport, 1 hour to the top of Pike's Peak, and 2 hours to Denver International Airport.

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Spacious enough so everyone had their own space. Kitchen was nicely stocked with pots/pans and spices which made cooking for a group a breeze. Grocery store was conveniently located. Neighborhood was beautiful! Will definitely be back!

Beautiful Home and Views

We had a great experience at The Smiling Moose. The house was excellent with amazing amenities. Worked great for a long weekend trip! We did some hiking, relaxing and site seeing in Colorado Springs and this Vrbo was perfect for all of it. Oh and the views of pikes peak in the morning were breathtaking! Overall 10/10 experience!

Wonderful stay in the mountains

We loved our stay at this property! There was a straight-on view of Pike's Peak from the large windows and the decks. The furnishings were very nice, plenty of everything we needed--in fact, we could not think of a single thing that it did not have. Beds were large and comfortable. Linens were colorful and plush. We did not want to leave at the end of our stay. Five stars well-deserved!

Great Thanksgiving Getaway!

This property was all we could have asked for! The property was updated and very comfortable for our stay with 5 Adults and one teenager. The property had everything we needed including a big assortment of coffees. Ben was very attentive and easy to get ahold of. The neighborhood was beautiful and we enjoyed walks every morning with deer greeting us along the way. The weather was chilly and the fireplace and hot tub made the stay even more enjoyable! We won’t hesitate to book another stay here!

This property is absolutely beautiful even better than the pictures! They also provide everything you need which i thought was great! Kitchen well stocked. My kids loved the rooms upstairs. My husband and i slept amazingly in the master room. The deck and views are breath taking and the hot tub was a great amenitie! I would highly recommend

Highly recommend this property!

I have stayed in several VRBO properties. This home was by far the most well appointed. The kitchen had every gadget that we needed and was very well organized. (We we’re in this home for Thanksgiving so we really needed this kitchen). The layout was wonderful for our family-we traveled with 2 couples, 2 teens and a twelve year old. The views were stunning. The home is located close to the grocery store which was very helpful for us to pick up a few things we forgot. Not too far of a drive to Manitou Springs which was a fun little town. Benn was very responsive to questions we had about the home and the area. We really enjoyed our stay here!!!

Beautiful

The house was nice and comfortable with enough room for all of us to spread out. The kids loved the upstairs themed rooms. The view from the back patio is amazing. We were on the go the whole trip so we didn’t get to enjoy the house as much as we would have liked. One thing I’d mention, we had our sprinter van and the drive way up was narrow and winding. We made it up and down just fine but the first day was a little tense.

Beautiful clean place

felt like home, beautiful and clean, we had everything we needed except food of course but the great thing is that there is a Wal-Mart store literally like 3 min away. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Benn was very nice and always available to answer any questions. he also gave us advices about the freeway traffic and how to get to the place . we arrive a little early to check in, and was definitely no problem something really appreciate. can't wait to come back one day and enjoy more time at this beautiful place. you will never regret it

Perfect Mountain-View Retreat

We needed to be near Woodland Park while our kids attended sleep-away camp and Benn welcomed our group of friends to his perfectly-located mountain home. Beds were very comfortable, checkin and out was a breeze (the 4 for check-in process is only because we did not receive the access code on our check-in email and had to wait for it past check-in time. Besides that, we had more than we could have asked for in this rental. It was immaculately clean, well-appointed. There were tons of extras in the kitchen and bathrooms which made staying in this house feel like we were at a best friend or family member’s home! The hot tub and decks with views of Pikes Peak were stunning. Check out Cafe Leo and the Memorial Park Farmer’s Market (Fridays) just up the road! Thanks for everything Benn and family!!

GREAT 4-bedroom log cabin in mountains with Pikes Peak view

Wow, this place was great! Large deck with table for dining and lounge chairs for sitting. Hot tub on side deck. Large, updated, very well-furnished kitchen, 3 bedrooms upstairs, 1 master bedroom on main floor. Tons of storage areas. Two car garage parking with openers. Big screen TVs (although we never turned on), dining room table for 8. My adult family loved the Pikes Peak view and tons of pine trees. Quiet with occasional deer visitors. Just a few minutes away from grocery store and some local restaurants. 20 minutes to Colorado Springs. We would come here again in a heartbeat.

Incredible views

Our family enjoyed our stay here. The home was very clean, nicely decorated and well stocked of all essentials. We particularly enjoyed our Nespresso drinks while sitting on the deck taking in the amazing view of Pike's Peak. We were a very short drive from all of our activities that we wanted to do in the area. Thanks for an enjoyable stay Benn.

A Little Slice of Paradise

My family and I loved our stay at this cabin! The views were phenomenal and the cabin was stunning! It was very clean and so well-stocked. I don’t think there was a detail or comfort that was forgotten. Pictures are accurate! We got to see deer multiple times in the driveway and by the house. Benn was so kind and communicative. Book this cabin! You won’t regret it!

So beautiful!

The views from every part of the house were amazing! We loved the table with the fire pit in the middle and the heat lamps were great because we could have dinner outside even when it was cold. It felt secluded but also only minutes from all kinds of stores and shops! We spent most of our time relaxing in the hot tub! Wonder vacation and excellent host!

Amazing Cabin

This is one of the best places we have ever stayed! The cabin was beautiful and well maintained. The views and property were amazing. Everything was clean and well decorated. If we ever go back to Woodland Park, we will definitely stay here again.
