Watercolor Retreat

Location was where we wanted to be... a little ways away from the beach, but still close enough that we felt like we were socially active. Highly recommend!

This home was beautiful and the layout was great for our group of 6 women.However, the house was not cleaned well at all. Bathrooms had hair in the showers, toilet paper rolls had not been switched out, a dirty spoon and crumbs were left on the bedside table and dirty dishes left in the dish washer. There was also a dirty towel with brown marks folded in with the “clean” towels. Needless to say, we needed up having to clean some of this ourselves for peace of mind. This was our 6th trip to Watercolor and we’ve never had issues with cleanliness until this year.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stay at WC multiple times a year. For the price we paid for the week, the property was not up to par compared to other properties we have stayed in. WiFi worked half the time, not at all upstairs. Multiple roaches were in the house. Master shower drain did not drain, had standing water while showering. Master bathtub had broke handles. Holes/indentions were in upstairs bathroom. Floor was very dirty after walking barefoot. Gas range is very sketchy when trying to get burners to light. Management company fixed hvac that wasn’t working when we arrived so thankful for that. Everything that needs fixed could be done in a day

Great stay!

We loved our Spring Break stay here. Golf cart was a huge plus for easy access to Seaside shops, etc... The pool was a great way to relax. Beautiful home and we all were very happy with this rental.

Very nice house and great location

Great property manager…everything was ready for us and responsiveness of property manager was fantastic. My girls loved the loft balcony sitting over the living room.

Great House, Great Location

Perfect for families - quick walk to the basketball court and camp watercolor. The pool at the house was a huge hit for our boys and we used it daily. The house generally had everything we needed. Only thing to note is the golf cart needs some work as many seatbelts aren’t working. Would definitely stay here again!

Home Exceeded Expectations

We had a fabulous stay and were blown away by the home. It far exceeded expectations…the pictures really don’t do justice. The location was amazing for a family with small children…Camp Watercolor was a short walk away, making entertainment and pool access super easy. We would stay here again, without hesitation. Loved the experience and made wonderful family memories!

Wonderful beach house!

We loved our stay in Watercolor! Everything was decorated beautifully and had lots of extras! We enjoyed the golf cart in going back and forth to the beach. On a side note, you may want to have the brakes checked as well as the parking brake. We assumed the cinder block was to be used to put behind the wheel.

The house is perfectly located close to camp water color which is great for kids and the golf cart provides convenient access to the beach club and beach access. The accommodations were excellent, unlike many rentals we’ve stayed in, the home was sufficiently clean upon arrival, the beds were cozy, and the space was great for visiting indoor and out. Would highly recommend to most anyone!

Amazing Place!

We had a fantastic time at this house! We have 3 kids that are 6 and under. If you plan on visiting Camp Watercolor during your stay, this is the place to be. Only a one block walk over to Camp Watercolor. The house is short golf cart ride to Publix, which came in handy when we needed stuff for the kids. The pool in the backyard was nice to have for early morning and late night swims for the kids. We had it heated and the kids enjoyed that. Communication was quick and easy. 5 stars all around highly recommend!

Incredible location and value

Our first trip to 30A and we loved staying in Watercolor! We looked at SO many properties and this one checked every box. The convenience to Publix, restaurants, the beach, etc. can’t be beat. The bikes and golf cart were absolutely key as well…we rarely needed our car. We were out and about most of the time, but had we been home more I would have liked better kitchen and cookware, and overall a few more supplies like beach towels, etc. However, overall, it was a tremendous value.

Great Watercolor home in a great location

This house is appointed very well and helped to create an amazing stay for our family. The location of this house is perfect (so close to Camp Watercolor and Publix) and an easy golf cart ride to the beach. Also, having the private pool is a huge plus! The only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars was similar to other reviews. The golf cart is great but there still seems to be an issue with the brakes (specifically the emergency brake). Finally, the general cleanliness of the property was just OK, but that is more on the property management and not the owners. Great house in Watercolor for a family vacation.
