We found this home to be ultimately equipped and a perfect place to stay when visiting Eugene. It is artfully appealing which is most appropriate for the area. Great little restaurants and scrumptious bakery in walking distance and easy access to big town events. The Farmers Market should not be missed. Host was most accommodating to make sure we had everything we needed and was available if we had any questions. We used Uber while in town and all drivers were great. Great Stay, will look forward to returning.
This was a perfect home base for our short stay in Eugene. Itâs a beautiful home and we loved enjoying wine in the porch swing and coffee on the patio. The hosts are very responsive and friendly. In fact, we loved it so much that weâre coming back next month.
This home has so much character! My family and I enjoyed our stay. The beds are extremely comfortable and the porch swing was a great place to read my book. Check-in was a breeze. Great communication from the host. Highly recommend!
Very comfortable, quaint home in a quiet Eugene neighborhood with a park and good old fashioned diner within walking distance. Also, Carrie was a terrific host. We would definitely come back again!
Charming home in Eugene. Close and convent to local eateries and conveniences. Clean colorful woodsy vibe. Plenty of kitchen items abs lovely artwork. The porch swing is comfy and relaxing We enjoyed our stay and walkabouts to fun local stops. Neighboring Park is literally on the corner. Great stay
We stayed in Eugene for a quick overnight to break up our car travel. The house was fine but I was surprised by the other exceptional reviews in comparison to other VRBO's we have stayed at. Our needs included use of the 2nd bedroom because we had our child with us but the makeshift ceiling with a sheet and direct attic access was both a concern and scary to our kiddo. The house was relatively clean but there was an unusual amount of cobwebs particularly behind the master headboard and some pests. Important to note that the parking for this home is on the street, I probably missed this in the description. Which is convenient for some but was somewhat concerning since we had a lot of gear overnight with street parking. I really wanted to love the house and make it a fun college town experience but I realize some of the creature comforts just were not up to par when traveling as a family. I do hope the owners and managers take this review into consideration because the home has a lot of potential with great outdoor space.
This home was absolutely charming! I visited my daughter for the weekend and stayed here with my son and our two dogs. The location in Eugene was perfect, and the house itself was beautifully decorated with thoughtful touches like lovely lighting and plants. It had everything we needed, including a fully fenced yardâideal for our pups. We were especially impressed by the thoughtful extras, like a dog bed, toys, and treats. Communication with Carrie was seamless, and she was a fantastic host. Our stay couldnât have been better, and we would absolutely stay here again!
This house is a gem and more. Close to everything! We celebrated Thanksgiving here and it was so special, cozy, and all around fantastic!
Carrie is a fantastic host and goes above and beyond!
Canât wait to come back!
We stayed here for our wedding weekend. It was so comfortable, Carrie was very communicative, and the space is just so quaint and well decorated. We really enjoyed it and would definitely stay again next time we are in Eugene!
The house has a nice enclosed garden space with a propane fire pit and grill and a covered porch/deck. The interior is nicely appointed. It was a pleasant place to stay but it would be better if the window coverings completely covered the windows. I am not used to sleeping with street lights outside. That said, I would stay there again.
We all loved this house. So many rentals are either cluttered with all the leftover furniture from their other house or they are bare bones with no charm. This home was perfect - comfortable, well stocked, easy to settle into.
We will absolutely return when we are back in the area.
This was a great VRBO experience. It was one the best we have ever had. The house was staged in an amazing way for our arrival with lights on. There were great amenities like a bottle of champagne, shampoo/conditioner, and sparkling water.
The property was absolutely lovely and the adorable house was so comfortable! From the rosemary and mint growing outside to the lovely porch swing and quaint living room we really loved every second of staying in the beautiful home! Carrie was easy to reach to answer a question too! The little touches were so nice and homey! Will definitely stay again! Thank you Carrie!
A terrific rental house for 3-4 people. Great location making trips around Eugene simple to navigate. Loved the deli a block away and the tree lined street.
This house was perfect for our weekend in Eugene for this High School state track meet. It was an easy drive to Hayward Field (and an easy walk too...just a few miles). Close to downtown too. The house has so much charm, it's hard not to smile when you open the purple front door and enter into house. The bathroom was plenty big for 4 of us. We loved the easily labeled and dispensable soap/shampoo/conditioner (we had elderly people in our group and they appreciated being able to see the labels clearly!). The outdoor areas were a nice place to relax. Would definitely recommend this house for a small group.
Hello! We are Keith and Carrie Blackwell. We are so excited to welcome you into our fully restored 1895 bungalow in downtown Eugene. We have had a lovely time making this home into a dream space. Keith and I met 11 years ago and haven't spent a day apart since. Happily in love we enjoy traveling with our superdog, Sydney. We love kite boarding, slack-lining, camping and hiking. When not working in our beautiful vegetable garden, you can find us in town eating and drinking at our favorite local spots or working at our Healthcare Clinic.
Please let us know if there are any recommendations or accommodations we can hep with prior to your arrival! Cheers!
This house provides the most authentic Eugene experience. Perfectly shaded in the trees, it will feel like your own private escape, right in the middle of downtown. It is a short walk to the best restaurants, breweries, and cafes to fit every taste and budget.
