Lake Vista Lodge is a home unlike any other! If you aren't blown away by the view of the lake as soon as you enter the home, you will be by it's location! In addition to being close to the lake, you will also have direct access to Fish Haven Canyon, which has hundreds of miles of trails for ATVs, snowmobiling, hikes, and bike trails throughout. Centrally located with being only 10 minutes away from the marina, 18 minutes to North Beach State Park and 25 minutes to Beaver Mountain Ski Resort. No matter the time of year, our home truly is the place for you and your family/friends to enjoy all that Bear Lake has to offer!

Beautiful Lake View!

Lake Vista Lodge was the perfect place to stay for our extended family reunion/vacation. The views were incredible! It was private with plenty of parking and plenty of rooms and space for everyone.

Winter ski trip

Fabulous reunion

We had such a great reunion. The playground equipment and indoor toys kept the little ones happy and the pickle ball markings on the cement were a real draw for the older ones. There was plenty of room inside for board games and visiting. We recommend this venue highly.

Great place to escape and relax!

We had a wonderful stay! We rented this for a family reunion and loved our time here. The location was great and the view was amazing! Great location for all kinds of activities. Water, hiking, mountains, ATVs! The fire pit and hot tub and loft/game room were great features too! We had everything we needed and more. Makenna was a great host and very responsive and friendly. We would absolutely stay again!

Great Space for Gathering

Was a good place for our family reunion, close to Bear Lake and other recreation opportunities, it fit our group just right. Was spacious and comfortable, did not feel overcrowded.A couple potential "downside" items worth mentioning: A lack of trash bins that led to us having to find creative ways to dispose of additional trash on our last night at the property. Air conditioning had a few issues with freezing up. Also, while not really a negative for us personally, but we only had 27 in our group and felt we had maxxed out the sleeping areas, so not sure how it would have worked with the advertised "sleeps 40"?

Family Vacation

The property had a beautiful view and a great location between North Beach and Garden City. There were enough beds for our 22+ size group. We also utilized the large living room to all gather together. The outdoor space was very nice between the hot tub, playground for the kids, the beautiful back deck, the firepit, and plenty of space for parking. Thanks for helping make our visit a great trip!

Everything I expected

We had a family vacation with the kids, grandkids and great grandkids. All had a fabulous time. The younger kids loved the play ground, it kept them occupied for hours. There were over 30 of us and it easily accomidated all of us. We would vacation here every year it we could. Voted best family vacation ever.

A great place to stay for our family vacation

Cabin is very spacious and clean. View of Bear Lake is breathtaking. Close to the North Shore which is where we spent lots of time. Kitchen well appointed, and the refrigerator downstairs was so helpful. Loved the spacious furniture in the family room and super large TV. All of which enhanced our family reunion, and made it that much more enjoyable. Our host was extrememly helpful.

Just what we needed

We used it for a family reunion. Grandparents, Parents, Grandkids. There were enough King sized beds and a bunk room. Games for all ages of kids. And enough space that I could still find a quiet place now and then.

Perfect Family Reunion Spot

We had 33 people here for a family reunion, ages 3-70. It was a perfect spot for us. Every couple had a bedroom and the cousins had their own spaces to hang out, inside and out. We played lawn games out front, the kids liked the playground, and we all watched the Olympics on the big TV. Kitchen was well stocked. Bathroom space got a little tight at times with so many people, but it worked out okay and we would stay here again.

Fabulous property

We had a major family reunion at this huge water view cabin. Beds were great. Spaciousness was amazing with 8 good sized bedrooms and 3 major gathering areas plus several exterior options for playing, viewing, resting and more. Responsiveness to our inquires (…about the oven) was immediate and helpful. Can’t recommend the pl as we orcyhe owner highly enough.

Family Reunion

We had 26 of us, 14 of them between 1-15. Our grandkids loved the extra large playground. There was plenty of room for everyone to play and sleep for the week. We sat on the deck and enjoyed the beautiful view. Two fridges were great to accommodate our large group. The men really appreciated riding their 4 wheelers from the cabin for an early morning ride. We had a great week.

Fish Haven Cabin

Door would not lock from main floor to deck. Would be nice if master bedroom toilet area had hand rail next to toilet to assist you getting up. Very difficult if you have restrictions. One evening the spa was running when we arrived and trash cans outside were half full. Cabin very well stocked with supplies. The view of the lake was fantastic. We had a wonderful time with our family.

Great lodge for our family

Some of our family members were stressed with their jobs and needed relaxation. All the recliners did the trick. The oven was not working but the host let us know and brought two large toaster ovens before we arrived which did the job. The hot tub was plugged up with sand from previous renters. A repair man came and fixed within a few hours of our arrival. The lodge is spacious with large closets in each bedroom. There were lots of activity options for our grandchildren. We really enjoyed our stay.

Great property just north of the crowds

McKenna was so easy to work with. The view from the balcony is amazing and each room was fantastic. I was surprised at the quality of the beds. I've been to places before that would have a bunch of cheap beds. These were very nice and made sleeping very easy after a long day of playing on the lake. They also did a great job of having several places to relax, from playing games upstairs, watching a movie at night on their giant tv, or speaking in their hot tub. The kids loved roaring hot dogs in the back and the parents lived that there was enough for the kids to do that we didn't need to worry about entrainment them. Overall you are in for a great trip if you stay here.

Best equipped kitchen

Love the home. Was big, not clean Had trouble with air conditioning, talked to management and they said they would get it fixed. Stove didn’t work or griddle on stove also told manager. Didn’t like paying $500 for cleaning when it wasn’t. Still the family had fun. Would stay again if problems are corrected

Thanks for the review Kay! This was our first booking and you helped us work out some kinks, that are all fixed now. In addition to what you posted below I would love for everyone to see what else you sent. “We had fun and would book it again. …Beds were comfortable. Best stocked kitchen ever, and we have stayed in a lot of them. Lots of room for everyone. Kids enjoyed the games on the second floor. Toilet paper was plentiful. Towels were nice and you had a lot of them. Enjoyed fire pit out back. Hot tub was enjoyed by everyone. Last negative the rug in the living room bunches up and people would trip over it. We tried to fix it but couldn’t. Thanks again for lending your home to us. We will definitely go through you next time.” Glad we were able to fix these things and thanks for being our first guests on the introductory rates! Hope to have you stay again! ☺️

Amazing!

This home was perfect for our family reunion. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen well stocked, and the view out the living room windows…. Wow! The loft has ping pong and space to play, the basement living room was cozy for teenagers to watch movies, and outside the firepit and hot tub got some great use. We brought an extra folding table and folding benches because we had up to 35 some days for meals and there’s only adult seating inside for just over 20 if you include the counter. (It was too chilly while we were there to eat outside on the tables on the deck.). They do have a couple cute little child picnic tables that came in super handy for the little people. The host was super responsive and kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend!

Great Views! 10

We gave the views a 10! Best hot tub views of any VRBO we have rented. The comfort was a 9 only because my husband is semi handicap & there was not a comfortable chair to sit in, that he could easily get up & down out of. Also for someone semi handicap or elderly there are no grab bars in the showers, no grab bars near the toilets and only 1 chair height toilet on the main level in the hall. I know this isn't a problem for most everyone but anyone traveling with elderly parents just be aware. There is a big step getting to front door and no hand rails. There are no hand rails going up the stairs to 2nd level nor hand rails going down to the basement so my husband was not able to access any other floor. The hot tub was great as was the fire pit! The kitchen was nice size but pots & pans have seen better days! There is no ice maker so you will need to buy ice for drinks. The extra refrigerators were a bonus though. The sectional was very large and comfortable for the ones who could sit there. The weather was really chilly the first 3 days we were there and the house was not real warm, so we took advantage of the gas fireplace and electric space heaters to help warm the place up. Fortunately the weather improved mid week and didn't need any more heat. Internet wasn't working and an outside door wouldn't lock but IT Son-In-Law & plumber/electrician son fixed both! Beds were awesome!

Great stay

This rental was just what my extended family of 34 needed! Places for adults to gather, for teenagers to gather and for little ones to play without being on top of one another! The location is super quiet and has great views. Everything was well stocked. We definitely plan on using again!

Great place to stay!

We loved the cabin. There were a couple appliance issues (main fridge wasn't working and oven worked some of the time) but other than that everything was wonderful. Makenna was very responsive when I brought any issues up with her.
