This guest house was very clean and the hosts are super friendly and helpful, We caught crabs and enjoyed cooking them outside. Don't hesitate to book this rental.

This is an absolutely beautiful guest house. It has all the amenities needed along with fabulous property location. It is quiet, peaceful, ultra, clean, and spacious, but cozy.

Amazing hosts and lovely house

Wow - we have stayed a many rental houses over the years, and I honestly can say that Mike, Beverly, and Anna were the most amazing hosts we have met. They made sure we had everything we needed, and they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome! We will definitely come back to visit again!!

Summer Stay

This peaceful farmhouse is on the water ... the best of both worlds. There are several small towns within a ten minute drive, but the property is rural and quiet. The owners are very friendly and hospitable. We had the most beautiful and unexpected August weather. It was a great escape!

It was a beautiful property…. We loved the rabbits and the deer. We would take our coffee to the dock in the morning and it was so peaceful. We just wished we had more time to stay on property… we were busy in town.

Great weekend

My husband and his family used to own a cottage in the area so we try to visit at least once a year. The house is modern and very roomy. A downstairs bedroom is perfect for those who can’t do stairs. We fished from the dock and enjoyed watching the wildlife. Short drive to restaurants and shopping. Mike and Bev were amazing hosts!

The Perfect Getaway

Property is new and full of amenities, very comfortable, plenty of space and great yard, waterfront property. Quiet and peaceful. Consummate host - friendly and affable, anxious to make our stay memorable. And he succeeded. We plan to make it a regular stop.

We had a great stay at Sunny Field Inn. Mike and Beverly were wonderful host and now new friends. They made sure everything was perfect. The house was clean and well supplied with everything we needed. It was so peaceful sitting on the dock and enjoying the views of the water and the wildlife. We will be returning to their wonderful home.

The reviews don’t lie! You won’t find a better place or better hosts! Absolutely clean and comfortable, with everything you could need, including a private bathroom with every bedroom. The ground-floor bedroom has an easy walk-in shower, great for those with mobility issues. Upstairs there is a tv room, perfect for kids and night owls, and you can even see the water out the big windows if you look.Gorgeous tranquil property with tons of fireflies, bunnies, owls and deer (a doe brought her fawn past the house!) A dock, gazebo, grill, frisbee golf, and long driveway for morning exercise. Short drive to great restaurants and shopping. The hosts are truly nice people who go above and beyond to provide an amazing stay. We will definitely return!Also - no strong odors, plug-ins, scented oils, candles, pet hair, etc., for those who are sensitive.

Mike and his wife were wonderful host. You wanted for nothing and the property is so relaxing.

It was the best choice I made for my weekend outing. We all had a wonderful time and we will definitely be returning for another stay. Top notch. If I could give more stars I would.

This is the first VRBO I have used when the owners were on the property but I won’t be shy about it again! We now have new friends!! They were excellent hosts and entertaining but also gave us our space. We hope to return one day!

Perfect getaway

The property is amazing. Water views, close to the dock by a short walk across the lawn, plenty of yard space for games - we brought badminton but owners live next door and have basketball and corn hole. Hosts could not be more welcoming - pastries, fresh tomatoes, steamed crabs. They are very gracious and made our family reunion weekend even that much more special.

Great place to stay!

Mike was very kind and accommodating! Treated us to fresh pastries our first morning and a few tomatoes from their garden during our stay. Although we were away from the house attending family functions during most of the daytime, we had a chance to experience a couple late evenings on the dock, which was a unique experience for these Midwesterners.
