A great place to stay!

A wonderful cozy space! Just a short walk from a beautiful beach! Lovely deck to sit on for breakfast. Lots of nice beds, streaming tvs, beautiful furniture.

Location nice

Cleanliness and location beautiful just far enough away from the scuttle. Bring your walking shoes lots of stairs to apartment and beach ( got my step in for the whole year lol.

Making Memories

We were so grateful to be able to feel at home and bring our sweet dogs with us. The home was perfect for our family and allowed us to continue to make memories on the Outer Banks.

Anniversary getaway

Just exactly what my husband and I needed to celebrate our anniversary. Thank you for all the thoughtful touches in your condo, especially spotless interior, clean linens, and beach going gear to borrow. We enjoyed every sun-filled second of our stay!!

Mediocre property

I was very disappointed in the cleanliness of this condo. The walls, entry, balcony, ceiling and moldings look like they haven’t been cleaned in years. The floor wasn’t done that well either. I expected better especially for what we paid. The advantage of this place is location. You have easy access to beach, bike paths, activities, restaurants and shopping. Unfortunately when we return we will find other accommodations to stay.

Adorable seaside condo

Loved this condo for our thanksgiving holiday long weekend. 2 bed/2 bath was great for us adults and our son. Pet friendly made it so our fur baby could come with us for the holiday. Only thing I can agree with is yes there was pet hair (IYKYK) and floors and walls could use a scrubbing. I vacuumed the pet hair already there and then after we left but you had to wear shoes otherwise your feet were black within the hour. No big deal to us.I would have gladly mopped but only a vacuum was available. Fully stocked with soaps, blankets, towels, pans and dishes. A removable shower head was in the master so that made it easier for washing. So close to the beach! The stairs to the beach access however had a board across it marked ‘caution’ idk why but we scrambled under. Didn’t know where another access point was. We got to do so much that we haven’t been able to do during the on season because of all the people. Christmas in Corolla was awesome with all the lights. TY so much again, will look forward to booking again for another long weekend:)

Rental Nightmare

This was by far the worst rental experience I have ever had. My husband and I travel often, & not once have we arrived at our accommodations and walked right out. This SHOULD be a nice rental unit but it is so poorly managed by Vacasa that it was uninhabitable. I was traveling with my husband and our 10 month old son and this is a snapshot of our experience: When I opened the door to the condo we were immediately smacked in the face with a very strong odor of mold/mildew. It was very apparent that it had not been cleaned for a long time. The condition of this unit was deplorable and in our opinion uninhabitable. There was fresh urine on one of the toilet seats, mucous smeared across the wall in the bathroom, dog hair on EVERY SINGLE SURFACE, copious amounts of dust in every room, food remnants on kitchen table, black dust on the ceiling next to the AC vents. The worst offense was what appeared to be black mold in the primary bedroom along the ceiling joint down an entire wall. This is a top level condo so the roof of the unit sits above that joint. Vacasa was absolutely no help. They kept turfing the responsibility to the “local management team” & kept reassuring me that they would contact me & send someone to clean the unit & inspect the possible mold. They never called, never cleaned. We were forced to pay for 3 nights in a hotel & cut our trip short by 2 days bc there was no availability due to the holiday weekend. Vacasa STILL has not resolved this issue with us.

Really great location and great for a family group stay including dog!

Loved this property. We love the Outer Banks but usually travel as a family group and most of the properties just feel too big. This is a comfortable 2 bed, 2 bath property, just steps from the beach. Well equipped kitchen, and we Roku at home so the streaming TVs were great But, best of all, we could bring our DOG! And he loved it too! We also appreciated the pickle ball court and proximity to walk/bike trail. Good ice cream place over the road, great for Harris Teeter, and loved the ‘Off the Wall Taphouse’, which we discovered on our last evening and also walking distance

We had a wonderful week stay here. Took our 2 dogs with us. They enjoyed the private beaches as well as walking around the Whalehead Club. Definitely eat at paper canoe. The condo was well kept.

Great weekend getaway

Had a great time with just me and my 23yo daughter and our dog. Place was very dog-friendly, with treats and food/water bowls there. Walkway to the beach was right outside. Got to see the ocean roaring as Hurricane Ian swept thru, and then sunny with blue skies and 80F the next day at the beach! Very clean and comfortable place.

Very convenient to the beach

We had a very nice stay! The home was comfortable and clean and we loved being so close to the beach! Had to jiggle one of toilet handles to get it to fill up and flush, but we figured it out pretty quickly. It was great to have the nice beach umbrella and chairs to take with us to the beach!

Overall, Good Stay

This is a great location and the condo has a good layout. More items were provided than I expected. You can leave your chairs, etc. at home because they have some on the balcony. The stairs to the ocean are steep, so beware, however, the walk was very easy. Complaints: the air conditioning in the front bedroom did not work well. We had the box fan running constantly and were still hot while we slept. The shower head in the hall bathroom did not move, which made bathing our children very difficult. We were able to make do with what was there, but I do think that could make some people’s stay a little harder. Overall, we had a great trip and enjoyed our stay here. It was comfortable and affordable and that’s all we can really ask for for a family vacation.

Awesome Stay in Corolla!

Our vacation at Greg’s condo in Corolla was amazing! The building is very conveniently located to the beach, grocery store, and restaurants, alike - all of which are just a short walk away. The quaint, quiet neighborhood has easy access to a tennis court and sits just a short distance off of the main road for any necessary trips by car. The condo is very spacious with a great balcony, a full kitchen, and a washer/dryer if needed. It’s also pet friendly, which was the main attraction. My young puppy loved our stay AND the complimentary dog treats that Greg left in the unit! I will definitely be looking back into Bammer’s Beach Spot for my next trip to the Outer Banks.
