Welcome to @MoonlightPines22, a gorgeous 3 bedroom / 2.5 bath Lake Arrowhead Retreat with tall peak windows overlooking the beautiful Arrowhead Woods. Cabin offers multi-level wrap around deck with BBQ & firepit, fully equipped kitchen, living room with huge windows, tons of natural light, and cozy fireplace. This space is perfect for a quick getaway with family and friends. Located in desirable location on the wooded south side of the lake.

What a beautiful home!

The neighborhood is gorgeous and conveniently located from restaurants and stores. The house has a big patio with a grill. There is also a patio on the lower level. Everything was wonderful and I would stay here again.

Relaxing stay in this cozy cabin!

This beautiful cabin is exactly as it is pictured. Very cozy and roomy. The best part is we were able to bring our dogs and we felt very comfortable letting them roam around the wrap around patios! The host was responsive and the location is great, near the lake and local stores and village. Our only recommendation is to have more bath towels available (although we were able to wash them to use again), upgrade some kitchen appliances, pots and pans, and make sure they work, and clean the BBQ so it is ready for use. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will highly recommend to others!

Peaceful Getaway

Our getaway to Moonlight Pines was just what the doctor ordered to feel like a mini-vacation without the stress and hassle that sometimes comes with travel. The house was perfect for two adults and small dog, and never felt cramped or claustrophobic. The November air was crisp so the fireplace and heater were put to good use. I really appreciated the thought that the owners put forth in making their home comfy and cozy for guests (not to mention that fantastic bottle of red that was waiting for us on the front table)! As another reviewer had mentioned, take heed on the steep staircase leading to the downstairs bedroom. As long as you keep an eye on the steps, you'll be fine. Another note, I would have appreciated some sort of labeling on the light switches to indicate which light feature it belonged to. There was a bit of fumbling around at first but eventually figured it out. These are only minor notes and definitely would not dissuade me from reserving again in the future. Thank you, Michael and Shannon, for allowing us to share in the beauty that Moonlight Pines has to offer!

Family getaway

The property is just as in the pictures, it is very well stocked with everything you need. The beds are very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Gorgeous Relaxing Getaway

This lovely mountain home is just as pictured. Cozy but spacious with a really nicely appointed kitchen. Hosts left a welcome bottle of wine which was lovely. Also the main bed was SO comfy! Would recommend!

Very clever design. They thought of everything

Had a wonderful stay at Moonlight Pines. Very thoughtfully designed and appointed. The bedroom loft overhangs the living room and acts as a shade for the light shining in from massive glass windows. My wife and I were hard-pressed to think of anything that wasn't provided.

Clean and Comfortable Cabin

We had a lovely stay at this extremely clean and comfortable cabin. The owners have provided very nice amenities for their guests, and the appliances are all relatively new. The home has a ton of windows and a wrap around deck to enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The beds were comfortable and the house is furnished with nice linens and towels and a fully functional kitchen. It is about a 5-10 minute drive down into Lake Arrowhead Village, although there is a gas station and a grocery store right at the main intersection by the house up in Cedar Glen. We very much enjoyed our time at Moonlight Pines.

Summer Time in Lake Arrowhead

The host was exceptionally responsive, 5 +. The cabin was well stocked including the laundry facilities. The appliances were relatively new and the basic kitchen utensilse were also available. The cabin was docorated nicely with lots of big window, the living room furniture was what you would expect in a rental, the bedrooms were clean and neat with nice linens. This is a tri-level cabin with a small floor plain on each floor, connected by two sets of stairs, one going up to 2 bedrooms and a half-bath, both with room airconditioners, the rest of the house has central AC. The stairs down to the other bedroom and a 3/4 bath are very steep, you need to be careful when going down these steps. The living room and kitchen are on the main floor. The house is equiped with Roku TV on each floor, the streaming down stairs and up stairs is margianal at times with some notable buffering. I gave the cabin 5 stars... that being the case they BBQ had not been cleaned and needs some work. We washed down both deck areas when we arrived. It was just my wife and I, my daughter came up for our last night, we all left 3 nights early due the approching storm Hillary. If you have not been to Lake Arrowhead, it is a PRIVATE lake and there is no public access to the lake, like side walking trail or the beaches. Lots of good hiking elsewhere. We did enjoy our stay.

Great spot!

This is a beautiful home with big, gorgeous windows to really take in the surroundings while you're having your morning coffee or sitting out on the deck having a BBQ. You can tell the owners have taken great personal care to make their guests feel comfortable and welcome.

Great for families

Rented this property for a family vacation with our grown daughters and spouses. There was plenty of room for everyone and lots of space to hang out together. The property was well stocked with all the necessities and a lot more! The firepit was wonderful to sit around in the evenings, drinking wine! And the Michael was available to take care of any questions. A great experience!

Wonderful in every way!

My wife and I went to Lake Arrowhead in the midst of the worst snowstorm in 30 years. We arrived to a warm and cozy home with every single amenity possible. While we were there we received 5 feet of snow and spent the entire time happily in the house with the fireplace glowing and beautiful views from the 2 story windows in the living room. The storm was so bad that we had to stay for an extra night as the entire town was shut down......our hosts were incredibly responsive and generous - allowing us to stay an extra night until the roads could be cleared. Wonderful experience and amazing hosts! Gorgeous house with all the upgrades and super charming!

Very nice little cabin. Very clean. Comfortable beds. Owners provide lots of thoughtful touches like coffee. Great location just a 5 minute drive to the shops and restaurants in the lake. Owners were very responsive to any inquiries.

Great Cabin!

Perfect cabin for a relaxing fall getaway. Location is in a quiet neighborhood but close to all Lake Arrowhead has to offer. We hope to make a return visit.

Excellent location within quick walking distance of local market. Nice views off the back deck. Comfortable rooms that easily slept 6 adults. Streaming TV through internet was a bit spotty at times for live sports but not a big deal.

50th birthday

Booked this for my 50th and it was beautiful. Great location! Everything was well stocked, kitchen supplies great cookware keruig and plenty of complimentary coffee pods. The beds and bedding were very comfy and cozy. My in laws daughter and husband were suppose to stay with us for the week but were able to come up for 2 nights. It was amazing we all had such a great time. Would definitely recommend this place to friends and family

A gem amongst the hills in Lake Arrowhead

First things first, we loved our stay at Michael & Shannon’s Lake Arrowhead retreat! Nestled near the edge of Cedar Glen and close to the lake, make this a perfect getaway spot. This 3-story home has room for the whole family, or just a couple if you choose. The home was clean, and everything seemed to be well taken care of. During our stay we took advantage of the lake trail that circles almost the entire lake. It’s a peaceful hike, and really allows you to appreciate Lake Arrowhead. Keep in it’s a private trail, so you’ll have to get a pass from the association. Michael and Shannon made this a breeze by putting our names on the list on such short notice. I hope you enjoy your stay here as much as we did!

Our cabin is a great place to relax and unwind. It is in a quiet residential neighborhood, very close to the walking trails surrounding Lake Arrowhead. Outside you’ll find a large wrap around deck, with patio furniture, a firepit, and BBQ. Inside on the main level - the living room has 25+ foot windows, a large sectional sofa, a gas fireplace, and Smart TV. Around the corner you’ll find a fully stocked kitchen, full bathroom, and HE Washer & Dryer. Upstairs has two bedrooms with a California King and a Queen Bed and desk. Downstairs you’ll find a family friendly room with a Queen Bed, a pullout sofa, a private full bathroom, a reading nook, a Smart TV, and a collection of board games.

Unlike many cabins, Moonlight Pines has AC for the summer to stay comfortable when the weather gets warm. Other amenities include:

In Lake Arrowhead you can enjoy activities for all seasons from skiing, tubing, and sledding in the winter to hiking, boating, and mountain biking in the summer. Located on a quiet street a short walk to the lake and a short drive to the Arrowhead Village with fantastic shopping, dining, and summer concerts.

Please note that Lake Arrowhead is private and doesn’t allow short term rental guests to use the lake. However, new rules allow lake guests to have trail access, so please reach out in advance of your trip for instructions for entry. For lake activities, nearby Lake Gregory offers many additional amenities including boat rentals, fishing, trails, and water slides.

Other local attractions include SkyPark at Santa’s Village, where many adventures await including riding through the mountain bike park, ice-skating, fly-fishing lessons, rock climbing, zip lining, archery, and ax throwing. Venture further out to Big Bear or Snow Valley for skiing, snowboarding, inner-tubing, and more.
