Escape to this beautiful private home on the oceanside of the top-rated Omni Amelia Island Resort, formerly known as the Amelia Island Plantation. Living in this modern, well-equipped, private home gives guests a taste of island life at its finest! It is only a short walk or bike ride (4 bicycles provided for guest use) to the closest private beach access where 13 miles of pristine Amelia Island beaches await you. Enjoy the many miles of treelined walking trails within the gated Omni Amelia Island Resort and venture into the Shops at Omni Amelia island. This old-Florida shopping village includes restaurants, boutiques, an art gallery, nature center, spa, putt-putt and bike/golf cart rentals.
56 Laurel Oak is a newly renovated 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom home boasting gorgeous décor and high-end furnishings. Beautiful hardwood floors, fresh paint, picture windows, stainless steel appliances, and a brand-new whole house water filtration and softening system are only some of the upgrades you will enjoy when you stay here.
The well-appointed, modern kitchen is fully stocked with all the cookware items you need to prepare meals; and the adjacent dining area comfortably seats six. The bright, spacious living room boasts a smart TV, comfortable furnishings, books and games, and a remote-controlled electric fireplace. The adjoining sunroom lets in wonderful natural light and provides cleverly disguised beach equipment storage. The expansive back deck is the perfect place to host friends and family as you barbecue on the new gas grill and dine al fresco in the outdoor dining area.
This home's split floorplan provides an ideal sleeping arrangement for families or group get-togethers. The primary suite features a king bed, another smart TV, and a fully updated bathroom with a huge walk-in shower and closet. The secondary bedrooms are on the other side of the split floorplan and have a full, nicely updated bathroom in between. The large second bedroom has two queen beds and the third bedroom has one queen bed and a desk. Each bedroom offers ample storage and all linens are included in this rental. The laundry room has a brand-new full-size washer, as well as a full-size dryer. High-speed WIFI is available for remote work or surfing the net.
Pets are considered but they must be approved by management. There are size and breed restrictions, and guests must agree to certain terms and conditions. A $150 nonrefundable pet fee will be required and guests must sign the pet agreement. If the pet fee is not automatically applied at booking, it will be after the reservation is created. Note that dogs must be current on all vaccinations, be house broken, be spayed or neutered, and must be sociable with people and other dogs.
For parking, guests have use of the home's private driveway and bicycles can be parked in the bike rack to the right of the front door. As noted above, four bicycles are provided for guest use at our property.
Please be advised this property is not a rental through the Omni Amelia Island Resort and does not give you access to "resort privileges or amenitiesâ (i.e. the main Omni hotel pool, fitness center or shuttle service), and Racquet Park is limited only to club members and their guests (unless booking lessons or clinics).
