Relax with the whole family in this peaceful Cabin located on Stone Mountain Golf course over looking the 13th fairway with mountain views. Plenty of nature to see from the porch or from the warmth of the cabin. Every day you will see deer. Plenty of activities for the kids to do or adults who want to play. Bring your clubs to play 18 holes or just stay in the cabin with the family. Less than 2 miles away from the Stone Mountain state park entrance and within 8 miles of Doughton state park.
This was our second trip to this great cabin. Perfect size for the three of us. We love the lower level game room and sitting on the deck enjoying the view. Excellent location near golf course.
Amazing property, great views, you won't be disappointed
The hosts have thought about all the little details that make it easy for travellers. Clean, spacious and some fun surprises thrown in for good measure. Would stay at again!
Stayed here with a group of girlfriends. It was clean and well maintained. The hot tub wasnât clean, but the owner was quick to take care of it. They were also quick to respond to all our Qs.
The home is a cabin and you can hear every sound throughout the bedrooms and bathrooms. The bathroom fan is quite loud, which is nice. But once someone is awake and moving about, youâre all awake.
The air conditioning works really well. But the loft is much warmer than the main level. We had to cool the home to the point of being cold to make the loft comfortable for sleeping.
The beds are very comfortable. So are the couches.
The deck and the outdoor furniture is really nice. We spent a lot of time outside enjoying the weather and the view.
We had a wonderful stay at the Stone Mountain golf club. The house was perfect for our family and the owners were attentive and answered any question we had.
This cabin was an absolute dream to stay at. It was extremely clean and fully stocked with anything you could possibly need. The hosts were so sweet and helpful with anything needed. 10/10 recommend this cabin to anyone!
We had an excellent long weekend stay here.
My uncle's came down for a flyfishing trip with my Dad and I and my daughters. We want to make a yearly tradition to do our trip here!
Beautiful property and grounds on a mountain overlooking the Stone Mountain Golf course. Hot tub was delightful. Beds were comfortable and towels and linens provided. One large and one small skillet, with various cookware. Cups, glasses and silverware all great. Keurig coffee pot provided with various drink pods. Felt completely safe as this is a neighborhood of mostly owners, and they are very friendly. We learned alot about the area from one of them, which helped as we are looking to relocate. Lisa was a joy to work with and the cabin is decorated so cute....with a few fun surprises . It is aways from a store, so get what you need before heading up. The outside grill is "state park campground" variety, so we bought one to use and left it there. Hope it is still there when we return becaise we would love to come back sometime.
Wonderful very nice cabin in the mountains. Very peaceful and in the evening there is multiple variations of wildlife. Would highly recommend this cabin and the hosts being great. 10/10
Everything was wonderful. The cabin has comfortable beds, nice linens and plenty of towels for guests.
The kitchen is small but sufficient. The decor is really cute. We three couples enjoyed the deck and the beautiful views. The game room would be a lot of fun for kids. There is a hot tub but we did not use it. The firepit on the deck adds a lot of atmosphere and some warmth to the cool evenings.
Just be aware the cabin is a distance from any town.
We all enjoyed the two nights at the cabin.
We had a wonderful stay here! Our daughter was attending nearby Camp Cheerio, and it was the perfect place for us to relax and unwind while she was at camp. Unfortunately, it rained the entire week we were there, but we still had a great time. Some days it was nice just to read a book or sit on the covered porch. When the rain let up, we went to Stone Mountain Park nearby, and it was fantastic. There isn't a grocery store or restaurants nearby, so we stocked up at Walmart in Elkin and cooked most of our meals in the cabin. The owners are great at communicating, and we look forward to staying again next year!
This cabin is perfect from the moment you walk in. It is appropriate for an individual, couples, or families. I took my teen daughter and she was entertained by the wildlife alone but downstairs you have a basement filled with a giant tv, pool table, foos ball, corn hole, ring toss, other games. Outside is the hot tub overlooking the golf course with mountains in the background. The owners have thoughtfully decorated and stocked essentials. All you really need to bring are your clothes and food. Stone Mountain park is nearby with a waterfall and creeks as well as the cute town of Elkin which has a wonderful antique store that you can find yourself emerged in nostalgia for hours. But the highlight of our stay was watching the deer come out in the evening. Our first night we counted 15 deer that gathered below on the 13th hole of the golf course. If you have a chance, go up to the golf course and talk to Steve who volunteers at the counter. He will tell you about the goings on and points of interest along the way. But this is the cabin you will want to get during your stay. You will fall in love with it.
