Professionally designed, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath in Elkin, NC. Situated in the Yadkin Valley - there are over 20 wineries within a 15mile radius. Relax in the 7 person hot tub or cook a Smore by the firepit. Located out in the country, but less than 10minutes from the quaint town of Elkin. Close to grocery, shopping and many restaurants. Less than 20 minutes away from Stone Mountain State Park. Our number one goal is to make sure that you can have the best possible stay you can have!

Very nice home and fully stocked kitchen, which was amazing. We did enjoy the hot tub. It is a bit of a drive to some of the wineries, so you need to plan your day out so that you end up back around the Elkin area. Most of the wineries are really spread out in Yadkin Valley.

The house was so cute! Very easy to communicate with the property owner. Check-in was easy and it looked just like the pictures. The hot tub was such a treat after a long day of wine tasting! We could easily connect to the speaker system to play our jams. Beds and linens are really really comfy and there was plenty of space to play games and chill out. There isn’t a vent for the stove top so just be prepare to open doors and windows if you cook inside. The wine tour operators know the house and pickup drop off was easy. Thanks for a great stay!

Elkins is halfway between our home and my parents' home, so we met up for a quick weekend visit. The house was clean and comfortable. The game room was great and provided an outlet for our teenager to enjoy time with parents and grandparents. We plan to return again.

Everything was very nice except for the following: I had messaged you specifically about the grill was it gas or charcoal and when you said gas, we expected it would have a tank or two available. We were ready to start it up to grill our dinner and discovered it was not clean and there was no gas. We would have appreciated that information ahead of time and we would have planned to pick up the empty tank to fill before doing our grocery shopping.

We 3 senior ladies rented this house for our “ girls winery trip” . I was in charge of finding a place and sorry to say I was negligent in getting all the details. The home was beautifully decorated and the listing was 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, a/c and hot tub. We were totally surprised that two bedrooms were up a large flight of stairs on the second level, which was not listed in words or pictures on the site at the time of our booking. My friends know that I use oxygen at night and could not make it up and down steps, so kindly insisted that I use the downstairs bedroom and ensuite and then went upstairs, sharing one bathroom. After unpacking we turned on the A/C, on the wall in the L/R, and realized this was the only A/C. The air from the l/r could not reach upstairs and the two B/Rs up there were warm and not cooled during a heat spell of over 93. I thought perhaps we missed a “turn on” for up there, so I contacted the owner, who immediately wrote back ( very responsive) that the air from the l/r would make it up the stairs. We stayed 3 days, it never did. Upstairs rooms remained hot and muggy and the fan in one bedroom, with a light that wouldn’t turn off, so was basically unusable for a breeze (unless ppl sleep with a light on). All in all we had a wonderful trip spending time together, in a beautifully decorated home, that is 2 levels without a/c upstairs. I guess the onus was on me to ask those questions during booking? So use our experience and ask, ask some more.

Angela, we are sorry for the misunderstanding. Our listing shows all stairs on the property. Also, the home has central air conditioning, that runs through the entire home, including upstairs. The living room has its own separate ac unit just for the living room. Sorry if that wasn’t clear, but I don’t want other people thinking the home doesn’t have AC. Also our property manager was there the very next day, and the light does turn off in the upstairs bedroom. Again sorry for all the confusion.

We enjoyed a great moms weekend away! The house and hot tub were fantastic. We have already been talking about when we could take another trip to come back. The only thing I would suggest is that you space out showers or maybe the owners will eventually get a tankless water heater. A few of us had to take cold showers because the hot water ran out fairly quickly. I’m sure it was partly our faults but other than that everything was prefect!!

We have grown to love Elkin, NC! Tucked away 1.5hours away from Charlotte - and it has so much to offer! I don't think that many people know about it so it feels like a hidden gem that we get to share with everyone.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

We have put a bunch of little touches into this property - you can tell it was professionally designed, it is well stocked, you have everything you will need. We wanted to offer a hot tub for people to come out to the country and be able to relax! While still being 8 minutes away from downtown Elkin!
