Retreat to this 2-story log cabin that sits high above the Blue Ridge Parkway and offers views of Pilot Mountain and the Piedmont. The upper level has 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and a large open, vaulted ceiling living space. You can enjoy early morning reading in the cozy reading nook. Enjoy lots of fun on the lower level with the large bar and pool table. There is 1 bedroom on the lower level complete with an ensuite bathroom with heated floors. Both levels are surrounded by large decks where beautiful panoramic mountain views can be enjoyed.

Beautiful Cabin in the Blue Ridge

Amazing property that offers incomparable mountain views, great proximity to hiking at Stone Mountain State Park, and a short drive to Sparta for groceries and restaurants. Highly recommend booking here!

Awesome view

The drive up was fantastic. Once we were there and walked in we were amazed! The views from the porches was breathtaking. Loved waking up to the sunrise and watchung the stars in the sky and lights from across the mountains.

Camp Cheerio Pick Up

We enjoyed our stay! Beautiful views and close proximity to Camp Cheerio. Enjoyed the well stocked kitchen and the grill. Our dogs also enjoyed the wrap around porch in the back that was enclosed! Cake shop in Sparta was a big treat.

Relaxing Retreat

The property was private and had an amazing view. Although the cabin was beautiful inside and had everything we needed, we spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the view of the mountains and towns below. We would definitely recommend this property to family and friends.

Trip to NC Mountains

The property was great . We stayed there 2 years ago and the view is what drew us back . It is a very relaxing atmosphere and the cabin is set up in a cozy way . The trees have grown a lot in the past 2 years but we were still able to look around them for the great view !

My family and I celebrated my birthday weekend. The house has such a beautiful view of the mountains. We found ourselves relaxing on the wrap around deck the majority of the time. Great place for dogs! So relaxing and peaceful.

Great place to relax at

It was a awesome place to stay at the top of the mountain with excellent views. You can even see pilot Mountain and lots of other places too, since you are so high up. Plenty of things to do outside. We took a trip down the new river and explored the blue ridge parkway. I will definitely recommend this place.

Very nice place

The views are incredible. I had very good communication with the host. The cabin is very well stocked so you feel like home . The cleanliness was good as well . This place is way up a mountain. We hope to be able to come back again sometime.Just wonderful.

Great experience. Needed a place in the area for a few nights. The view is the value. House is great too. Would be nice if the top porch had six rocking chairs instead of three Adirondack chairs. I was fine with the drive up the mountain on the gravel road but not the women in my family.

Amazing views

The cabin was perfect, very well stocked with everything you need. It was nice and clean and decorated nicely. The views are amazing, especially the sunrises. Matt and Samara communicated quickly with every question I had, great hosts. We have stayed in many VRBOs but this one just might be my favorite. Beautiful area and close to the Blue Ridge Parkway. I cant say enough good things about this place...ALL WAS GREAT!!! We will definitely go back again.

It was a nice and fun stay for the family

Very nice view, especially the sunrise in the morning. Super quiet house. This is a cabin inside woods, therefore, expect to see some bugs on the deck. The supply needs some update and cleanup, some light bulbs need to be replaced, bathroom and kitchen surface was clean.

As many other reviewers mention the pictures do not do this place justice. The views are outstanding, & watching the sunrise over the mountains every morning was a highlight of our trip. Well stocked kitchen, comfortable open space, & quiet neighborhood. Centrally located to allow for daily adventures less than an hour away to include Stone Mountain State Park, Doughton Recreation Area, Mount Jefferson State Natural Area, & Grayson Highlands State Park. We loved our stay & hope to be back!

The Perfect Mountain Getaway - View for Miles!

Our family absolutely loved this cabin! It is tucked away on the top of a mountain and has breathtaking views that span for miles! The home is very spacious and every room has access to a wrap around porch where you can take in the views. It has a great area downstairs that has a pool table, bar and television - perfect for entertaining. Check-in was seamless, the home was clean and the owner was very friendly and responsive in their communication with us leading up to our stay. We have two children that attend camp in the area and this was the perfect place for us to stay while preparing to drop them off. This home comes with our family's highest recommendation and we hope to visit this wonderful mountain retreat again during future camp drop-offs!

Needs cleaning

The cabin was nice need to have a good deep cleaning, coffee pot had grounds left in it, it was molded,the fans had a lot of dust and cobwebs on them. Dog hair on the furniture and floors and bedsheets.

Gorgeous views - steep drive!

Fantastic location with amazing views - but you have to be prepared for the steep drive up the mountain on a gravel road (well maintained) with a few sharp turns to get to it. We made it up without 4WD but drove up in 1st gear and just hoped we didn't meet anyone coming down the road. Owner was very responsive to my multiple text questions at the start and was very helpful. Enjoyed our stay. Next time though will get a 4WD!!
