We enjoyed our stay so much! Maggie was an amazing host! She had great communication with us during the stay. The location was perfect for us. The house was so clean and the decor was adorable. It was all perfect for our family of four!
Great location, good neighborhood! It was clean and well kept. The back yard was great for our dog. It was a unique find with an extra half bath and parking in the back. It was only about 15 minutes from Fort Carson.
Very close to Old Co Springs, Downtown Co Springs, Manitou Springs, Broadmoor, and Garden of the Gods. House is very clean, and kitchen & bathrooms are well stocked.
Cute house, lots of character, great location, there is street noise like people have mentioned in other reviews but with the tv on you canât hear it and bedrooms are in the back of the house so sleeping is fine. Would stay here again!
My husband and I had a great visit at Maggie's place last week. It was everything we were looking for. Close to local attractions, quiet place to unwind and a large backyard for our dogs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and look forward to returning soon!
Maggieâs house is a beautiful home and a comfortable place to relax after a long day of adventuring. This home is super close to Old Colorado City, Manitou Springs and Downtown Colorado Springs. The parking in back is super clutch and we loved hanging around the fire pit.
Had trouble getting into the house, the keypad code would not work. Luckily Maggie provided a key to the back so we got in that way. House did have a bit of a smell to it when we came in, not sure if the people that stayed before were smokers. Overall was a decent stay. Just wished a few things had been better - smell, check-in process and a few things missing in the kitchen.
The property was centrally located from USAFA, Manitou, Garden of the Gods, and downtown Colorado Springs. Maggieâs home was inviting, warm, and clean. She was quick to respond when we reached out and she was accommodating to our needs.
This home is a quick drive to most major attractions in and around Colorado Springs. Almost all major attractions are within a 5-10 minute drive (Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, Olympic Museum, Pikes Peak, etc.). The property is an older home that's been nicely renovated -- full of charm and character. Our kids were entertained with board games during downtime. Maggie had excellent communication throughout the process. I'd highly recommend if you're looking for a home base to hit up multiple activities.
I would absolutely recommend staying here! We planned a trip to Colorado Springs for my boyfriendâs 30th birthday and we fell in love with this house. Itâs updated but still has so much originality and character. Maggie is easy to get in touch with and has decorated this house beautifully. We loved the fire pit in the backyard which was perfect for a chilly night! Furthermore, I accidentally left my favorite necklace behind at the house and Maggie is sending it back to me, which is incredibly kind. I cannot say enough positive things about Maggie and her home. We canât wait to return!
This 2 bedroom home is located within a 10 minute drive to Garden of the Gods, downtown Old Colorado City shops and restaurants, Manitou Springs, Pikeâs Peak cog railway, Cheyenne Mountain zoo, hiking trails, and pretty much any other attractions a visitor to Colorado Springs might enjoy.
The property is clean and well-maintained. There is street in front of the home and alley parking in the rear, which is where we parked during our stay.
The living room and kitchen are clean and updated. The appliances are all newer, operational, and clean. While we did not bring our dogs, the property is pet friendly.
Both bedrooms are located upstairs and include queen beds (I believe) and window AC units, if visiting during the summer months. The couch in the living room has a pullout sleeper that is great for kids.
The host was friendly in her communications and has clear and super easy check in/out instructions and a âwho-to-contactâ list in case visitors have any questions or concerns.
We will try to stay here again the next time we visit Colorado Springs.
Very charming 19th century house but with modern updating and conveniences. The house is on a more travelled roadway than other neighborhoods but from inside you cannot hear any street noise. The one exception is the front bedroom upstairs but the noise is minimal and almost non-existent at night. The house has a spacious living/dining area and a very modern, easy to use kitchen. It's a 130 year old home so you have to accept some creaks and noises but that's what adds to the charm. The upstairs bath had an ample supply of hot water. The heating of the house was very efficient as well. Very spacious backyard that has a fire pit with ample parking in they alley. You can park on the street in the front but there's more room in the back. The house is advantageously located near restaurants and close to other activities. It's also convenient to areas like Manitou Springs and Old Colorado City. We communicated with the host on multiple occasions and always had a quick response with direct answers to our questions. All in all there were really no negatives with the house and location and we had noting but good things to say about our stay and interactions with the host.
