With 1700 sq ft of space, located in a tranquil neighborhood where our street ends at the Garden of the Gods, you'll find everything you need for a comfortable stay. Keep an eye out for the deer that often wander through the area and the horses that walk by multiple times a day!

Immerse yourself in the character and charm of this Mid-Century modern space, featuring floor-to-ceiling cedar detail, vaulted ceilings, a unique design, upstairs deck and a fenced-in patio. Put on a record and unwind by the warm electric fireplace for the perfect night in.

The kitchen is equipped with everything you need for cooking, making meal preparation a breeze

Experience a peaceful night's sleep in comfortable beds with fresh linens and extra blankets

Upstairs ~ two bedrooms offer vaulted ceilings with a sky light, queen beds and access to a spacious private deck nestled among the trees

Main floor ~ you'll find the living room featuring a record player, smart TV and electric fireplace

Enjoy the beautiful Colorado weather by opening the sliding doors and letting the fresh air in. Relax on your private upstairs deck, furnished with patio chairs, two loungers, and side tables for your comfort.
Unwind on the fenced-in patio off the main living area, where you can grill delicious food on the propane grill under charming outdoor string lights, and cozy up by the propane firepit.

Horses are walking by daily, and you can always join in on the experience provided by the family owned landmark - Academy Stables, which is just a block down the road. This home is also within walking distance of the historic Buffalo Lodge, where you can grab a drink, see a concert, or attend an art or bicycle event. Located near many restaurants, attractions, and hiking.

Excellent Host & Location

Megan is an excellent host. Very quick and clear communication. The location is superb - walk to Garden of The Gods, see deer in the front yard, and walk to a live music venue. The place is very cozy and clean with all amenities and great toiletries. The beds are very comfortable and the pillows are like clouds. This place lives up to the positive reviews.

Great house!

We enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and the retro vibe was awesome. We stayed in December and the host had a decorated Christmas tree and decorations that made you feel right at home.

Walk Into Garden of the Gods

This house was very clean. Communication with the host was easy and pleasant. The home had some recent updates and the host did simple nice gestures such as food items in the cupboard and a bottle of wine in the refrigerator. The best feature of this house is the fact that you can walk down the dead end street into The Garden of the Gods. This was a very special thing to do early in the morning and in the evening for sunrise and sunset. We thought the pictures of the house and especially the covered patio were misleading and not an accurate presentation. From the pictures online, the description and the cost paid, we were expecting a higher quality home.

Great home for family get-together!

I chose this house because of the perfect location (4 blocks from the Garden of the Gods) and for the bedroom locations which allowed space for everyone to gather yet have their privacy. The kitchen had everything you needed to cook PLUS snacks such as water in the frig, popcorn, candy, marshmallows and graham crackers (for the fire pit). Nice touches all around, and Megan was very quick to respond to any questions. If you like to sleep in, you'll definitely want the downstairs bedroom as the morning light shines in through the high windows in the upstairs bedrooms. Short walk to the Buffalo Bicycle Lodge for music and both Manitou Springs and Old Colorado Springs were fun to visit. (There is a great bus system for Manitou Springs so you don't have to find parking.) Would definitely come here again!

great location wonderful property

We spent 4 nights with my dog and several family and friends at this property. It worked perfectly for what we needed! The kitchen was very well appointed with all necessary spices and appliances. The batrooms were functional and attractive, the bedding was comfortable, and the living spaces were comfortable and welcoming. I especially loved the turntable and vinyl albums. The location was amazing as well; near the downtown Manitou Springs and Colorado City areas. I would stay here again!

Excellent VRBO Home!

We stayed for five nights in this lovely home, centrally located with quick, easy access to the Garden of the Gods, Manitou Springs, and Pikes Peak. The house was very comfortable and spacious. Megan is an excellent host and provided a well-stocked and clean rental home. The modern architecture of the home is very appealing. The street the house is on is ideal for quiet, relaxing walks and takes you right into Garden of the Gods (a nice, 7-minute walk). This is an excellent VRBO rental, and we highly recommend it!

Amazing

The house was everything advertised. An accessible walkout balcony from either upstairs bedroom and a nice seating patio downstairs with a gas grill and fire pit. Easy five minute walk to a Garden of the Gods trail (climbing on the rock formations was a favorite for the kids and it’s FREE)! Easy access to everything you want to visit. Nearby horse stables come by the front with all the daily tours. Kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms were all very clean and stocked. Megan was GREAT at communicating quickly any time we had a question! Check in was a breeze! I would highly recommend this house if you are visiting the area!!!

Garden of the Gods

The house was clean and well stocked with all the usual shampoo, soap, etc and things I consider extra and very nice like sunscreen. The kitchen was well stocked. The location was an easy walk to Garden of the Gods and a short drive from Manitou (Pikes Peak and hiking). This was my first VRBO experience and the owner was very helpful and responsive to my questions.

Great location and property

This property was perfect for our family of 6. Located on a quiet street with easy access to Garden of the Gods, Pile’s Peak, and Air Force Academy. House had everything we needed for our stay except laundry, but there was a laundromat 5 minutes away. Great communication with owner and no issues during our stay. Would do it again!

Enjoyable Thanksgiving at Garden of the Gods

Property was great for our vacation to visit family. Well-supplied kitchen, comfortable beds, a nice living room, fantastic shower heads all helped to make this place perfect for us this week. Also enjoyed being able to walk to the Garden of the Gods from the house. Would definitely do this place again!

Great home for short visit

This home is very welcoming! Spur of the moment trip in late October, but Megan was very accommodating and easy to communicate with. The home was very clean and comfortable with so many little touches to make it homey and included a lot of personal items that travelers can easily forget. The only negative is that there is no access to a washer and dryer for longer stays, but my experience for a 2 night stay was excellent. 5 stars!

Plenty of space and amenities

Neat mid-century modern decor. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking and more. Our kids enjoyed the games provided too. Close to Garden of the Gods, Old Colorado City, and Manitou Springs. Great place to stay.

Our family stayed here during USAFA Parents’ Weekend. The beds were comfortable so our Doolie was able to get much needed rest. The kitchen had everything we needed to provide him with wholesome, home cooked meals. The neighborhood was quiet and he was able to get in some casual runs. Conveniently located, this property fit the bill perfectly for what we needed. Management was extremely easy to work with and accommodated our requests. Recommend 100%!

Great Choice for Colorado Springs

Let me start by saying this was probably the cleanest home I have ever been in. The kitchen and bathrooms were spotless. That's a big +++ from my perspective. I have stayed at a couple dozen properties over the years during our travels and this home is without question in my top three for overall attention to detail by the owner. The kitchen was very nicely stocked and all of the cookware and dishes were organized and in the proper quantities. I highly recommend this property for your family. The mid-century modern feel was cool and all of the other furniture and beds were in good condition and comfortable. It was in a good central location to all of the sites and activities that we were planning for our trip, so everyone was pleased and happy with our choice. Thank you for sharing your home with our family.
