This property was very well appointed and furnished. It was quiet, comfortable and had plenty of room for the three of us. The laundry facilities were excellent and easy to use. The bathrooms were wonderful, plenty of towels and the master bedroom was warm and inviting. Great place for a getaway!
Our family stayed in this lovely rental for a long weekend. We felt right at home and slept very well. It had everything we needed as if we were at home and plenty of space to put our own stuff. Lots of places to eat nearby.
My title describes and adequately confirms the accomodations of this VRBO. We will definitely stay here for future family gatherings whenever we return to Toccoa. Safe, convenient, extremely clean, quiet and welcoming!
Iâve said here 5-6 times in the last year and it has been perfect for my needs every time. Always clean, plenty of fresh towels, quiet with beautiful outdoor spaces. Stephen is a wonderful host - generous with his time and great suggestions!
A beautiful, peaceful, clean, thoughtful owners and more experience. I hope to visit again because of this experience and I'm not joking! If I could rate this property/stay experience properly, 10 isn't high enough!!
This is the best place to stay in Toccoa! The property is pristine and with the best hosts! Enjoy walks in beautiful neighborhoods and historic downtown area.
This is a great place to stay. The owners are easy to communicate with and answered every question we had. Very good location in the heart of downtown Toccoa. If we are ever back in this area, we will definitely stay here again.
This guesthouse is perfect for families staying in the Taccoa area. Quiet, clean, comfortable. It has plenty of beds so the kids donât have to share. The porch is beautiful and a wonderful place for alfresco dining, family games, or your morning coffee.
We enjoyed our stay here ! Hardy was very accommodating and stocked the house with everything we could possibly need. The location was great and perfect for us and our doggies abnd wedding weekend â€ïžâ€ïž
Very nice place to stay. We liked the separate, spacious living area. Lots of room for extra guests on second floor. Everything we needed was there for our use. A definite great place to stay.
Gorgeous house in a gorgeous town. So close to historic town square. Amenities and hand written note, thoughtful binder, and warm home like touches everywhere. Will absolutely stay here again.
This charming guesthouse was perfect for a girls weekend. There was the perfect amount of space for a few ladies to spend time catching up. The tight spiral staircase provided much laughter for these middle-aged ladies but we were slow and patient with each other. Didn't want any broken hips. LOL The host was in contact with me within an hour of my booking. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted and shown around. The tree covered backyard was so inviting. I wanted to lay in the beautiful, lush grass and enjoy the pleasant breeze. Several times I found myself walking barefoot in the yard. Definitely hignly recommended.
We really felt at home with the cozy Guest House. We wanted for nothing. Entry was easy and the location was perfect. Beds and family room were very comfortable. Thank you for providing a lovely respite for our trip to visit family in the area. Elizabeth
We came to Toccoa from North Carolina for as three day quilting class. We stayed 4 nights at the guest house and couldn't have been more pleased with the accommodations. The guest house was very inviting, comfortable and quiet. The owner of the guest house was very accommodating and we enjoyed getting acquainted with him.
We were up in Toccoa for a weekend softball tournament, and this place was so comfortable and relaxing to come to after a long day out in the sun. As advertised and very comfortable with a pleasant yard or courtyard to sit outside as well. The only constructive advice would be a little more lighting (even motion sensor) for the driveway, as it was pretty dark by the time the tournament day ended.
Laura had really taken her time to prepare the place. She put a lot of time in making you feel welcome from the welcome note to the snacks and all she left. I enjoyed reading the notes in her guest book. The place was very clean and nicely decorated. The beds were comfortable. Essentials were there and it was a very quiet area. We did have a mix up over check in but other than that we could not have asked for a better place to stay.
This guest house is located in an upscale area of Toccoa within walking distance of the downtown core. There is a dedicated parking stall and the place has a beautiful yard. The space itself is super clean and well equipped. It was my wife and my daughter and I staying and we each had our own space to sleep and get ready. The main floor had a master with an ensuite bathroom plus a desk and sitting area. The main floor also has a kitchen , breakfast bar and living room and laundry room. Upstairs is a loft with 3 beds and its own bathroom. We just had a great time here no complaints.
Host was gracious, accommodating and kind. We were there for my fatherâs funeral and arrived to a sweet note expressing condolences. Quickly responded to questions, easy check-in and out. I canât recommend highly enough!
This little home away from home was wonderful â„ïž Owners were amazing and very helpful. Very spacious and open. We will definitely be making a return tripđ
Had a wedding in Toccoa, we reserved this guest house for 2 nights. Really cute, clean, comfortable house to stay. Kitchen was nicely stocked, beds were very comfortable. Our friends booked the adjoining guest house with a patio in between so it was just perfect! Toccoa is a laid back southern town, so quaint and clean. Thank you! Oh and the wedding was great too - in front of the Toccoa Falls.
We are Stephen and Laura. This is our home. We are pleased to share the Guesthouse, a stand-alone in-law suite with guests visiting our north Georgia community. The privacy of our guests is important, as is ours. If you plan to book with us, please know that the individuals registered are welcome guests. We do restrict access of others however, and prefer not to host gatherings or parties. If youâre looking for a âhome away from homeâ for a while, you are very welcomed and weâre likely a good match. Please review our House Rules before booking. Thanks for your interest, and your consideration.
Private, quiet, nicely convenient to north Ga tourist sites, hiking trails, waterfalls, Lake Hartwell, Camp Toccoa (think Band of Brothers), Currahee Mountain, Southern Crescent RR aka Amtrak Crescent (NYC to New Orleans), Toccoa Falls College, Travelers Rest, Currahee Vineyards, birthplace of Paul Anderson, Pine Cove Summer Camp, historic downtown Toccoa and more.
The Toccoa Guesthouse is just a short stroll from historic downtown Toccoa. While it is relatively new construction, the main home was built in 1905, the same year the county of Stephens and the historic courthouse came to be.
