Belle maison sur le lac Hartwell! De l'eau toute l'année!

Notre maison est une maison de lac de style A unique située sur le magnifique lac Hartwell. Nous offrons une maison familiale avec une vue imprenable. Une pente douce vers le lac avec un quai pour la baignade ou la pêche. Une grande terrasse, qui peut être appréciée jour et nuit, un barbecue en plein air, plus 2 kayaks. Notre maison est un plan d'étage ouvert avec une vue imprenable sur le lac. L'étage principal comprend une cuisine entièrement équipée avec coin buanderie, un coin repas pour 8 personnes, une grande pièce avec un canapé-lit, une cheminée en pierre, une chambre (queen) et une salle de bain complète. Le deuxième étage comprend un salon avec un canapé-lit et une deuxième chambre (queen) et une salle de bain complète.

Le lac Hartwell est de 56 000 acres où vous pourrez profiter de tous les aspects des sports nautiques, de la pêche et de la natation. Nous sommes à quelques minutes de Tugaloo State Park (randonnée, golf miniature, volley-ball), Harbor Light Marina (location de bateau disponible), le lancement de bateau de Poplar Springs et la Lavonia historique où les boutiques et restaurants pittoresques offrent un changement agréable de l'agitation de la ville. De plus, 30 minutes en voiture vous amèneront à Commerce, GA - qui abrite les points de vente Tanger - ou à Clemson, SC.

This was our second time renting this lovely house on Lake Hartwell, and it was just as enjoyable as the first. The home was clean, well-kept, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We loved the easy access to the lake and enjoyed using the kayaks provided to explore the water. Watching the wildlife was a daily treat, and the provided firewood made for cozy evenings by the fire. Most of our meals were enjoyed outside, soaking in the beautiful surroundings. The fenced yard was a real bonus, and we even met some wonderful neighbors. We plan to return and highly recommend this home to others!

This was my second time staying. I didn’t think it could be any better than the first time but it was. Each night I saw 15-20 at a time between the house and the lake. I sat on the back porch watching them play and eat and they were not bothered I was there. Very peaceful setting on the lake. Highly recommend.

Perfect Lake House

This place was amazing. The views of the lake were beautiful whether inside the house looking through the large windows or out in the yard. Even saw 2 deer walking through the yard one morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Just what the Doctor ordered!

Definitely tucked away & most serene.. we fell in love on our first “herd” of deer came sauntering through! Certainly we had to mosey over to Toccoa, sweet pretty 15-20 mins to buy feed corn & wild bird food! Magical week on the lake & even caught & released a nice bluegill& catfish! Sweet, sweet surrender!

Weekend in Gumlog

The deer walked back and forth behind the house all weekend. One young Piebald. The house and property were as advertised. We used the kayaks and the canoe to paddle around the creek and catch a few fish. It’s easy to get down to the lake from the house. Good experience overall.

Wonderful stay

We love this home. It was perfect for our visit with our daughter at UGA. We stayed for a long weekend, spent one day just enjoying the house, the lake. It was very clean, well maintained and beautiful. We look forward to coming back to stay.

Wonderful lake house

We have stayed in alot of cabins on Lake Hartwell over the years. This one has everything you need. Well stocked kitchen. Easy walk to the dock and we really enjoyed feeding the deer.

Lovely Lake Hartwell weekend

We had a wonderful time. We are a group of 4 age 50 and 60+ friends and neighbors who were meeting up for a quiet weekend. The hosts were great and very accomodating. The house is on my favorite lake Hartwell inlet -- complete with morning and nightly groups of deer going by. Peaceful and quiet. We met one neighbor who was very nice -- houses are close together but no one was really around. The house is super well equipped and very clean. We kayaked, grilled out, ate on the deck and enjoyed the fantastic early fall weather. Great star gazing! One thing is that all windows are screwed shut so no way to let in the fresh air. 4 stars are due to the windows and close by neighbors. Overall really great - thanks for sharing your home with us!

Cute and clean house

We had a nice stay at this vacation house on Lake Hartwell. The house was exceptionally clean—by far the cleanest out of several we’ve rented this year. It was well-appointed, with firm and very comfortable beds. Lake access was easy, though the dock was small and the water shallow. The neighboring houses are quite close, but we only encountered one very friendly couple next door for a few days. If all the houses would have beed occupied this place might have felt less private, just something to keep in mind especially if you prefer privacy. In the area we had seen many dogs, they seemed nice and well behaved. Unfortunately, there was no power for the first day due to a downed powerline, which made the first night warm and required flashlights to get around. Despite that, we enjoyed our time at the lake. There is nice to see the wildlife thriving in the area —lots of deer! We even bought corn to feed them. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

Relaxing stay in Gumlog

We loved our stay at Lake Hartwell! The home was beautiful. The back of the house windows, the view of deer, birds, and the lake were breathtaking. The house had a lot of personality and was clean. The check-in and checkout instructions were easy and clear. We would absolutely stay at this location again!

Nice House on Lake

Nice house on Lake Hartwell. We caught bass and catfish off dock. Neighbors are close by and could hear them but overall we had a great stay.

Quiet location with beautiful views

My family was in town to attend a Clemson graduation for the daughter of our close family friends. The location of this house was very quiet and peaceful, and the views of the lake were outstanding. I thoroughly enjoyed waking up and looking outside and enjoying the beauty of the lake. The beds were very comfortable, and we all slept great. I didn't read all the details and missed the fact that we needed to bring our own soap to shower, but that's on me. We bought some the next day. We couldn't figure out how to work the coffee maker. We're not sure if it was user error or if it actually wasn't working. I also would have liked to have had an iron and ironing board. Since we were going to graduation, I needed to iron my dress and I incorrectly assumed there would be an iron and ironing board. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay.
