Tranquil waterfront cottage. Recently remodeled, with relaxation in mind.

This renovated cottage sits off the main road nestled in our family owned boatyard. Every detail has been focused on you having a relaxing stay. Luxury mattress and linens are a few things that will help. Central air, beach pass, garden access to fresh vegetables and flowers.

The property is just one mile to Tabor Academy, and 1.5 to the center of town. This great place to escape and relax, yet still be close to beaches, shops, restaurants and ferries.

A small deck, fire pits, picnic areas, boat ramp, water view and access all add great places to enjoy the outdoors. Kayak, paddleboards, canoes all available for a small fee.

Sip your coffee in the comfy chairs on your deck while watching the Blue Herons and Osprey eat their breakfast.

During the day, go to the beach (pass provided). Visit the islands, the cape, Newport Mansions - or stay on site and explore the cove in our kayaks.

Grab dinner and sit at the big table on the waterfront of the old barn. Sit by the fire at night, unwind and take in the beauty of Hammets Cove. If you are traveling with friends or family you may want to look at our sister property, Beautiful Sunrises VRBO#2211232. Renting both properties allow you to be together and have your own space!

End your day with a shower under the stars, rinse - repeat.

The house is right off of Rt.6 and so it was nosier than we had thought it would be. My husband loved the fishing in the cove. The house was very clean but smaller than I had thought it would be. We did enjoy our stay.

We had a wonderful stay. This is a quaint cottage, uniquely and privately nestled on the property of a working, family owned "boatyard". With waterview and a sunrise that comes up in front of the cottage. The cottage is cozy with high-end finishes and appliances, it has everything and is close to town center. Highly recommend.

Everything about this adorable cottage is perfect! It is obvious that the hosts put so much thought and intention into every detail! From the design of the space to the well stocked kitchen to the linens to the guest house book, every detail creates a cozy welcome you are sure to appreciate! Kellie was very responsive and helpful! We highly recommend taking a harbor cruise which she will help to organize!

We had the best time! The cottage holds everything you will need for a pleasant stay. They even have a great outdoor shower, grill, fire pit, and a beautiful porch to have wine and gaze at the marsh. The interior design is beautiful, and you are allowed to pick fresh herbs from the garden for cooking. We arrived to fresh Dahlias from their garden. It was so so tranquil!

Perfect Getaway

This property is a charming one bedroom cottage nestled in a seaside enclave. The outdoor shower is the best I’ve experienced and add a bonus of outdoor toilet adjacent to but not in shower. Kellie supplied us with guest passes to lovely small town beach as well as bicycles and kayaks. There are many areas to explore on the property including an outdoor table tennis set up, fire pits, hammock and multiple outdoor dining options. Bring your binoculars to watch the osprey catch their dinners!

We came into town for a wedding and this was the perfect palce to stay. The property is beautiful and learning the history of the property is a fun surprise. We took the bikes into Marion and got coffee and a few snacks at the local market. Rode around town to see all the beautiful homes and ocean. The live music on the water was a nice surprise on the Friday night too.

gorgeously renovated cabin

superb communications with host . 10 stars on the decorated renovated cabin ..absolutely beautiful , clean and well , adorable ! little fire pit outside of cabin , ( we brought our own wood), ..we stayed off season but heat worked just fine. lots of nearby trails to get to and other interesting sites . looks like during season they have lots of additional activities on property . on the water ! Peaceful retreat

This property is a peaceful retreat for us when visiting family - we call it the overflow cottage - but it is so tastefully appointed, every little details, that is a soooo relaing when we get "home" in the evening. There are so many nice details, it is a wonder. We love the remoteness of the off-seasn boatyard. I suspect in summer that will be busier, but the access to the water there is a bonus. We love it here and will return next year.

Lovely relaxing cottage!

My partner and I had a wonderful time in our weekend at this cute cottage. It was decorated so tastefully with all the amenities we needed and desired, including kayaks! The property is a bit secluded for privacy, but we also felt safe. So many little lovely touches of hammocks, lounge chairs, and tables and chairs for relaxing and dining around the larger property. It kind of felt like we were on a quaint farm by the water. We also drove to the beach which was only about 10 minutes away. Even on a rainy day, it was just nice to lay in bed and look out the window across the water and watch the herons and other birds or go into town to grab some takeout food from a local cafe. Kellie gave a lot of helpful ideas/info in a book in the house and was very responsive about other needs we had too! We will definitely come back if we have the opportunity! attentive

The cottage was absolutely beautiful, even lovelier than the photos. Everything is new and updated, while still maintaining its unique charm. Beautifully furnished and IMMACULATE. Super comfortable bed, clean crisp sheets and fluffy down comforter/pillows. Kellie has thought of everything, including beach pass and beach towels. Attention to every detail, down to the fresh flowers by the bed. The property itself was great too
tranquil water view, kayaks, bikes, fire pit, hammock and lots of outdoor seating. Our favorite surprise was the outdoor shower and bathroom. We were only there for a quick weekend getaway and were so sad to leave. Thank you Kellie for being such a wonderful host!!

Wonderful spot for a getaway

The location was perfect for kayaking and bird watching
we would have taken advantage of having the bikes if the weather had cooperated. The cottage was spotless and so cozy with everything we needed...towels,beach pass, kayaks, and outdoor seating with great views. Local restaurants did not disappoint. So pleased with our stay!

Absolute Gem of a Retreat

This cottge is peaceful, immaculate, an absolute gem of a place to stay while visiting family in town. The property is an interesting boatyeard on tidal water access. Wish we had more time ot take advantage of the outdoor hammock, chairs and other parts of the property. The cottage itself has many subtle very nice touches that are definintely appreciated. Kellie is an exceptional host. Will definitely return.
