We needed a quick getaway as a busy family in ministry. This was a perfect place! The cabin was perfect, clean, welcoming and comfortable! The view was breathtaking!!!
This house is beautiful, clean and spacious. It is located in a area filled with spectacular views and there is so much to do with Petit Jean State Park just a couple minutes down the road.
This property is beautiful. So much to do and see in the park. Its a short drive to Morrilton and Russellville. Would recommend going in the fall or spring, the humidity was alot.
My 3 sisters and I chose our first hiking trail experience in Petit Jean State Park. Our stay at the Bear Cave cottage only enhanced our trip. Going âhomeâ at the end of the day to such a relaxed environment at Bear Cave helped to make our trip that much better. The atmosphere and location were just like being at home. Thank you.
A beautiful property which was so peaceful and relaxing. We had a wonderful time. The host was quick to respond when booking and we had no issues while staying at the property. Wonderful!
This will be our new favorite place to stay at Petit Jean. We love to hike, but I'm not a big fan of the places to stay at Mather's lodge. This gives the best of all worlds. Probably the best stocked place we've stayed at. The washer and dryer make it so nice with hiking. Thanks for the amazing time away!
The cabin was beautiful! The layout of the cabin is perfect for the view. The cabin seemed almost brand new. Is it designed beautifully! They had everything we needed! They supplied everything you could need for a weekend trip. From washing pods, to shampoo and conditioner. The back deck was our favorite part. We got to grill and relax with an amazing view. The kids were able to ride their bikes on the property and up and down the gravel road. This is a perfect place for a family get away!
What a beautiful mountain cabin! The cabin is clean and well stocked with amazing views from the loft bedroom and the back porch. It is close to several hiking trails.
There is a queen bed, a bunk bed, and a trundle bed. We had 5 people in our group with plenty of room for all of us.
The internet signal is spotty on the mountain, but that is to be expected. The property manager was able to help with anything we needed.
My family loved staying here!
The property was absolutely amazing. The balcony had a stunning view of the valley and offered a perfect place to stargaze. Light pollution was non-existent which was ideal for viewing the stars. Everything was perfectly clean and well stocked. The hot tub was clean and the vintage bulbs offered intimate lighting. We couldnât have asked for a more perfect experience. Thank you!
The small touches like the laundry detergent and dishwasher packs, fully stocked coffee bar, utensils and cooking equipment really made this place stand out. The view alone was worth every penny. The bed was super comfortable, we loved getting to use the hot tub, and it was very quiet. The only problem we had during our stay was the gas grill was broken and had to wait a while for the hosts to message back to tell us yes they know itâs broken but you can light it with a match .Not everyone is going to be comfortable using a match on a gas grill. For 2 days we spent $500 with cleaning fee-Iâd expect all the things in the house to work properly. Other than that snag, well worth it.
We really had a nice time staying at Bear Cave. It was clean and had nice space for all of us to use. The kitchen and washer and dryer were so helpful! The view is beautiful. The area was quiet. We also enjoyed the hot tub after long days of hiking. We were so close to Petit Jean State Park. We loved the Cedar Falls trail and exploring Bear Cave and the Turtle rocks. We also enjoyed a longer hike on 7 hallows trail. We ventured to Mt. Nebo (about a 45 min drive west) and hiked the Rim trail. And we enjoyed a day trip to Little Rock (about an hour) to hike Pinnacle Mountain and Rattlesnake Ridge! We really enjoyed our spring break in the Natural State! Thank you!
