Le California Coastal Cottage, situé à quelques pas de la plage de Ventura, est parfaitement situé pour se détendre et jouer sur la plage ou visiter les vignobles pittoresques de Santa Barbara et de la côte centrale ou se diriger vers le sud et passer une journée à Malibu ou à Hollywood. Sous le magnifique ciel ensoleillé du sud de la Californie, vous trouverez des kilomètres de belles plages, un port prospère rempli de bateaux de plaisance et commerciaux, et l'ambiance de la vieille Californie dans notre centre-ville historique et notre quartier de Mission.

Ventura, une ville historique de mission, est située à seulement une heure au nord de Los Angeles et à une demi-heure au sud de Santa Barbara sur le magnifique littoral californien. LAX est le plus grand aéroport, mais Bob Hope Burbank, Oxnard et Santa Barbara sont des aéroports régionaux de la région.

Bien qu'il soit conseillé de louer une voiture, il est possible de rejoindre le chalet via le service de navette / bus de l'aéroport et Amtrak. Un service de bus local à Ventura et dans les environs est disponible.

Leslie, Jeff, and Sasha were great hosts that made the check-in and checkout process seamless. We thoroughly enjoyed out stay at the cottage. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Best place in Ventura

Such a nice cottage right near the sand. It is small, but perfect for my family of 4. The owners are great, and we have stayed here 4 years in a row with ZERO issues. We will definitely stay again.

Excellent location with very short walk to the sand, fun restaurants and shops a few blocks away. Easy drive to Harbor Cove and lots of other fun spots in Ventura. Parking in the garage was easy and convenient. The house was clean, well stocked with cooking ware and utensils. The rooms were all comfortable and the backyard was pleasant to spend time in. The hosts were very responsive and available for questions. We hope to be back soon!

Perfect location

We stayed for a month to enjoy our adult son who lived near-by and to afford a six night stay for our other son and family. The location was ideal and the living space was generous. The owner/manager was responsive and easy to work with. We will book again next year!

Perfect for us!

This house was perfect for our stay! It was really clean and the location was amazing. We were able to able to walk to the beach, Marina Park and restaurants. My kids loved the bunk beds and sand toys. The backyard was great for eating and hanging out in the beautiful sunshine. The flowers back there were gorgeous! We loved our stay here and hope to be back soon!

Peaceful and relaxing

Spacious and well cared for home in walking distance to the beach. Open floor plan, allowing for plenty of space to relax together as a family indoors and out. Quiet neighborhood....peaceful retreat! Our family of six had a wonderful time together at the California Coastal Cottage. So many things to do and see in the area; a few excursions we enjoyed are: Santa Cruz Island for hiking and snorkeling, Santa Ines Mission and Solvang, tide pools at Rincon Point and a lot of beach time just steps from the rental. Going home very relaxed and refreshed.

Decent Stay

This place is in a great location and we appreciated the conveniences of the garage, laundry, and grill. However, it looked like it had not been deep cleaned in ages - there were cobwebs and dust throughout. The dishes and kitchenwares were filthy, needing to be washed before use. Not quite what we were expecting.

Tasha, I am so sorry that the house was not in acceptable condition when you checked-in. As you can see from other reviews we strive to have everything in great condition for our guest. We did have housekeeping do a deep spring clean 2 weeks prior to your arrival but apparently they did not do a good job. I only wish you would have contacted us when you arrived to let us know about the situation so we could have had someone out to take care of the issue.

Another wonderful stay

There were some strong storms. One knocked out the power to the garage door opener. Then the door would not completely close. The first time the technician said the mechanism was old and needed to be replaced. It was reported to Zeke. I could not put the car in the garage but parked in front of it for security.

We are sorry for your inconvience. The garage door does need to be reset after a power outage. It is being replaced.

Wonderful weekend

We had a wonderful weekend. VRBO is a first for us. The house was just the right size for the 4 of us. With a little more planning on our part, it had everything we would’ve needed. Less than a minutes walk to the beach. Would stay again.

Extremely Convenient

This was the perfect location for us to get just far enough away from home and enjoy a slightly cooler climate and beach weather while being close enough to family north of Santa Barbara to visit and pick up Dad/Grandpa for a few days. We loved having the parking and walking distance for an easy and enjoyable week. We definitely recommend the property. It was inviting and organized.

My Home Away from Home

This is the third time I rented this property for a beach getaway. It just keeps getting better and better. The host is extremely organized. The house is spotless but still feels very homey. The minute I walk in my shoulders relax and I’m ready for quality R&R! I hate to brag about it too much because I feel like it’s one of my best kept secret hideaways. Wonderful.

Fantastic spot for a family beach week

We had a fabulous week in Pierpont, thanks in large part to this beautiful and comfortable beach house! Everything was beautifully maintained, accessible, easy to find and use and perfect for our family of four, plus my mother in law and sister in law who spent one night visiting us. My two young boys (ages 4 and 2) loved exploring the backyard and even took outside naps in the reclining chairs pulled up under the shade of the awning. I especially appreciated that the house had everything we wanted to use, but was not full of unnecessary knickknacks, which made it very easy to navigate and enjoy. We enjoyed many meals in the backyard and loved being able to walk just 2 minutes down the road to the beach and 10 minutes to a variety of great restaurants a couple of streets over. We're hoping to return again next year and would like to thank our hosts for their responsiveness and hospitality in proving such a lovely spot for our use and enjoyment!
