Been looking for the perfect vacation beach home? Look no further. This home is the closest thing to new construction you will find in the area, custom features include vaulted ceilings with wood beams, shiplap accents, and colorful beach decor throughout. Relax with a crisp beverage on the screened patio with cushioned seating. Family-friendly perks include Pack n' Play, highchair, toddler bed, potty training seats, and kids’ dishes. There is also a dedicated desk with an external monitor setup for working remotely.

Use the four cruiser bikes for easy transport around town - beach chairs and toys provide added convenience. The Intracoastal Waterway is a half a mile from home and the beach is within walking distance. After fun-filled days, unwind for movie nights on the smart TV in the living area. The pristine kitchen has a full suite of stainless steel appliances, sleek countertops, and helpful gadgets like a Ninja blender and cocktail glasses.

some room for improvement

Overall excellent. A few little things like the outlet over under the TV was a challenge for our OCD people. Two of the 4 bikes were not functional and no kids bikes, so we purchased one to share with others. The house and neighborhood was really nice. The outdoor cushions could use a good cleaning but were still functional. Overall good experience.

Great Spot

We loved our time at The Crabana. The set up was perfect for our family- 2 kids, my husband and I, and one grandparent who came along to assist. There were toys available for the kids to play with and plenty of space to spread out when we all needed a little space after a long day at the beach. It’s about a mile to the beach, which for our group was not quite walkable, but parking at the beach is easy and inexpensive so that was not a problem at all. You could also rent a golf cart and keep all the sand out of your car. The place was very clean, the AC was cool, and the neighborhood was safe and quiet. We will definitely be back when we find ourselves in OKI again!

Stunning, with a few hiccups

Great property- it’s beautiful and in an amazing location. Master was missing a remote to control the streaming services, lower level tv was locked up, so unusable, and the code given to access the storage space was incorrect- so we were without beach chairs until the on call service tech arrived. Otherwise, it would be the perfect rental!

Fall getaway

Layout of the house is great. Had small issue upon arrival, but local manager quickly rectified. Not quite as clean this year as opposed to our stay last fall. Did have several live palmetto bugs and a couple roaches inside during our stay. Needs a broom and dust pan.

Thought of Everything

The house has been beautifully remodeled and decorated, and the hosts thought of everything. We had everything we needed from beach chairs to toys and books for a toddler to comfortable beds and linens. Our family remarked many times at how well thought out the house was. The beach is not within walking distance, so we were a bit nervous. No need to be! Oak Island has so much public beach access and parking. We never had any issues with beach access and the short walk to the car was a lot easier than hauling all of our stuff on foot. Everything is a 5 min drive: grocery store, beach, splash pad, parks. We had a wonderful week!

A great week!

We had a great stay. Crabana is well appointed and our family was very comfortable. A golf cart rental is a must to get to the beach, Publix, restaurants and more. Only complaint was the level of cleaning from the service done ahead of us was not great. Really just surface cleaned so not great. Otherwise, recommend.

Cleanest and best property I've stayed at EVER. Would recommend that a sign be put on the lock box to gain entrance. There were 2 lock boxes and we kept trying the wrong one. The dial numbers on the top lock box were hidden until we accidentally touched it and the section dropped down. Would be worth putting a sign on the correct lock box to open. Couldn't sign in with our passwords on the main TV, but no real issue since we mainly were at the beach! These were NOT major issues .. . . The home was just gorgeous and would recommend it to anyone to stay there!!

Great Stay!

We really enjoyed our stay at Crabana! It was a great location, the home was very well stocked and clean. The property staff followed up immediately on our arrival. We loved the bikes and deck. We would definitely come back again.

Beautiful home, perfect getaway!

We stayed here in October for our anniversary and it was the perfect getaway! The home was beautiful and clean and had everything you would need for a beach vacay! Cozy cute living room, spacious bedrooms, all on a quiet street. Close to everything including the beach. Highly recommend!

Lovely home near the beach!

The crabana was a great property that we would recommend. The house was clean, convenient location, beautifully decorated and had everything you needed. The only thing missing was a dishwasher…I would suggest getting one, most people hate washing dishes. Other than that we were very happy.

Awesome house!

We had such a great time on Oak Island and in the house. Everything was perfect! It was super clean, very updated, and wonderfully decorated. The amenities were great, the mattress, sheets and blanket were top quality, we loved everything about it! The attention to detail and the communication were especially on point!
