Upon entering, you will be pleased to find our beautiful double sided fireplaces and the queen bed will get you feeling cozy right away. Step onto the porch for a soak in the hot tub, make your favorite meal on the charcoal grill, or relax with a fire. The perfect little getaway cabin to unplug and unwind!

Nice place

The cabin was nice for a weekend get-a-way. Clean and the hot tub/porch was nice to hang out at. Like others said you have to call to get information for check-in, but I saw that on other reviews so it wasn’t a big deal. Firepit area was nice to sit at. Not super secluded but there were curtains on the porch that made it better to not see neighbors. The privacy on the porch could be improved but we had a good time! We would stay there again.

Hiking and relaxing

Our stay was beautiful! The jacuzzi and the grounds were great! Lots of wildlife and serenity! Would stay again this was our second time here, we will be back again! And the owners were wonderful and helped us extend our stay! Highly recommend.

Short stay

Was only able to stay a short time. When we first found the road it was on we kind of thought we were lost but saw the sign for the cabins and thought.. wow this is pretty awesome. Very cool little get away. Will definitely book again

Nice little cabin

Overall, it’s a pretty nice little cabin. Great for when you’re out hiking and just want to come back to relax. Never received any check-in or check-out information via email or direct message. Had to call and even then only got the code for the door. No other information. A few of the dishes looked dirty, and there were only a few utensils to use. Other than that, it was nice to come back to after a day traveling and hiking.

Weekend stay in the woods

The cabin was very romantic and clean. The hot tub was awesome and we really enjoyed our evening on the deck.

Never received check-in/out information or access codes, located a phone number once onsite to gain entry to cabin. Cabin acces road is very tight no room to turn truck around, had to back down road.

Anniversary weekend

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time at your property. The cabin was clean, cozy and felt private. We loved the balcony out back and hot tub. I do wish we would have received check- in information prior to me having to reach out first for the code to door. When I did send a text though I got a response within 15 mins. We would stay here again in the future though!

Relaxing weekend

Google maps tells you are there a mile or so before your there. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. The hot tub was great, it was a great stay.

Little get away with friend

Super cute, little cozy place, loved the hot tub. Was very clean upon arrival and had plenty of amenities, didn’t like that there wasn’t check in instructions posted.

Wish there was check in information provided before arriving to property. Amazing hot tub! Having fireplace in cabin made it nice and cozy. Comfy bed.

Great cabin and pet friendly

The cabin was a great size and perfect for a weekend stay. It was an added bonus that we were able to bring BOTH dogs to stay with us. The owners even dropped off a New Years Eve packages since we were staying for 2 nights over the holiday weekend. One thing I was disappointed in was the fire place in the center of the cabin. We walked in and it was extremely smoky. We love a good camp fire smell, but we were not prepared for how strong it would be. After some airing out, we did get used to it. But we were not able to use the fire place, as we were afraid we would get smoked out of it. We did have to come home and wash all clothing that was brought to get the smell out. Overall the bed was comfortable and it was the perfect size! VERY secluded and not close to any trails. But can walk the property with the dogs. Probably about a half a mile round trip. Would consider coming back.

Disappointed

Pics made it look like cabin was secluded. It was not. Six cabins in a line. NO privacy at all. Grill was nasty. Kitchen pans, toaster and portable burners were greasy dirty disgusting. Bathroom was clean except in corners and shower corners were moldy and black. Hamper disgust and broom hadn’t been cleaned of others hair and muck. Nothing with batteries (lights) were working. TV and AC worked well. A+ hot tub!!! Will not return.

Cute cozy cabin

Cute place not far from HH. I emailed a few hours before check-in letting the host know taht we would be hiking so most likely wouldnt have cell service and was concerned about not having any check-in instructions. Didnt receive a response or instructions until I called and then had to text someone. Did receive response promptly though so appreciated the quickness of a reply. Cabin was super cute, little off-putting some of the "neighbors" at the end of the road you drive-by, but the place was great. Few things I was missing though is I never did find check-out instructions. Didnt see on the listing nor was there anything in the cabin. Hot tub was awesome, but never did figure out how to turn on the string lighting. :( Lights on swinging chair didnt work either. But overall stay was comfy. Love thatnit was dog friendly!

Night Away

My husband had a stroke in October and is wheelchair bound at the moment. We needed a little break a get away close to Hocking Hills. Would love to return. We were only confused about check-in cause never received an email but they answered promptly when we called. Thank you!!!!!

Would stay again

The cabin is beautiful and I feel the description was pretty accurate. More pics would be helpful. I did try to communicate with the manager twice and did not get a response. The hanging patio lights on the back deck did not work/were not plugged in. I could not locate an outlet or a cord to plug them in. I tried to open the windows for fresh air instead of use the AC but there are no screens on the windows. Overall I really enjoyed my stay as I’m not hard to please. I feel even with the issues this was a good value for the money.

The hummingbird cabin

The hummingbird cabin was overall a great time. Hot tub was awesome! Cabin was very clean and a impressive modern style. Only issue we had was there was no oven like advertised on vrbo. There was a electric burner. The grill was not very usable. Luckily we brought a small electric grill. Wasn't much room around outside for cabin to walk the dogs. But overall it was a great time, and would definitely come back in the future.

nice little getaway

cute cabin for our anniversary weekend! really enjoyed the back porch and hot tub a lot, which i was nervous about since there weren’t any pictures posted of them. minor issues like the heat setting on the wall AC/heat unit didn’t work (they thankfully supplied 2 small portable heaters that did the job) and the indoor fireplace didn’t allow all of the smoke up through the chimney so we couldn’t use it. otherwise a nice little getaway cabin!

Get Away

Beautiful cabin. Loved the 2 sided wood burning fireplace and the hot tub on the back porch. Without having a stove, it would’ve been nice to have a larger charcoal grill but we made it work.

Hummingbird Cute but listing description was not right

Me and my husband rented this cabin for a anniversary get away. First I will list the problem/ untrue/ clear listing and then all the good. When we arrived which was late about 9:30pm there was no power we called and text the number listed and never received a response but about 11 pm the power kicked on, I am assuming they were busy with a problem or something. While we were walking around with the flashlight we noticed no oven, in the amenities it listed one. So immediately was a bit upset because we had packed food that needed and oven, When the power came on we noticed no screen on the left of the cabin porch. there was really close neighbors to right and left. So the seclusion was not as anticipated, and no back pictures are listed so you would not know this. I will say we would have still tried to enjoy the hot tub but our neighbor to the left kept blaring bad rap so we couldn’t enjoy the porch. The bathroom has a small shower not a tub shower combo. And the grill/ fire pit situation was not a great set up again no pictures were shown of that so I assumed it wouldmatch the inside pictures. And while I thought the bed was comfortable I do not believe it was a queen. It was a double / full. While the heater/ air is there the fan needs looked at because sit does not blow the air out very far. Now the studio cabin is very adorable it does give a very nice cozy honeymoon vibe. The fireplace is a nice touch and was great the first night. The second the wind has changed or something because the smoke would not go straight up and we had to stop using it. The place was reasonably clean. I think that the description given might match some of their cabins but not all so if they fix that so you actually know what to expect there is some potential for this place.

Perfect getaway for couples !

This place was well designed for a relaxing and cozy getaway for a couple. We very much enjoyed our stay! It was a bit confusing to locate, not knowing it was part of colonel quarters off the main road, as were the steps to receive the purchased firewood.
