Les points faibles : Communication, emplacement, exactitude de lâannonce
Horrible Road, over chlorinated hot tub, asked for tip but paid cleaning fee already.
Junk yard at the bottom of entrance looks like something from Texas chainsaw massacre. The road up to the cabin has potholes 3feet wide and almost a full foot deep. If it is raining or snowing 4x4 is required. The "cleaning team" left a bill fold for tips along with there cash app and venmo handles for a tip even tho you pay a cleaning fee upfront. Only thing good about this place was the roof over our head.
Overall, we loved our stay, minus the very small bed and broken deck chair.
We liked the location and the secludedness of the cabin. However, 4WD really is a must to get up that hill! Had all the amenities we needed. Chair on the deck is in need of repair, and the fire pit had garbage in it when we arrived.
We couldnât get ahold of the host or property manager, we didnât end up staying there thankfully there was a hotel we found to stay at. Donât book if you donât have a 4x4 or a big truck because you wonât make it there just like we couldnât. Dirt road with pot holes everywhere at a very steep incline. We got stuck in the middle of the road close to the cabin. Wish the manager would have communicated if you donât have a truck youâre not going to be able to get there. There was no cell service to get any help. Horrible experience hopefully i will be able to get my Money back as itâs hard to get ahold of the owner
beautiful scenery, peaceful and quiet. Hottub was wonderful.
We were celebrating my wife's 71 birthday. Beautiful weather, all the color of fall. my only detraction from the visit was the bed. It was very uncomfortable. Everything else was wonderful
It was great that it was tucked away. The hotub was perfect. My only complaint would be that the drive is steep, which would be fine if it weren't for the potholes.... the weather was fine and still I wasn't sure if I was going to make it, at one point I started rolling backwards.
The cabin was clean and they supply you with everything you may need as far as pots, pans, silverware, cooking utensils, plates, bowls, cups, coffee maker, towels etc.... It was a very relaxing and cozy stay and my husband and I really enjoyed it and I see us coming back in the future.
Very unique experience! I would recommend the location, but with caveats for expectations.
Loved the setting. Thought the fauna was a bit overgrown scraping the car when on the property. Cabin cleanliness could have been better, rust on the refrigerator not a good first impression, and bed and pillows were not very comfortable. Loved sitting on the deck, and the hot tub very unique. We did not bring coffee, but that is on us, but that would have been convenient for the price.
It was cozy and clean.
The microwave was kinda beat up but it worked.
There were cobwebs in corners and on the fan but other than that it felt clean.
It was a cute cozy cabin. Bring extra blankets if you get cold.
It was good, thank God we had a Jeep for that driveway which is uncalled for.
Wanted a quiet in the woods get a way. This was the answer. Very cozy and I loved the mirror/window above the bath sink. A bit weary about this area with that horrible junkyard down below. I honesty would be afraid to stay there with out a man. Any one having such a junky area right there can't be normal. I've been going to Hocking Hills all my life. Was not aware of such a site in such a beautiful area such a shame to do this to our beautiful area where people come from all areas to enjoy.
