Location, location, location

Located just a few ( uphill) blocks from the Plaza, this home was perfect for our Santa Fe base of operations. It was comfortable and clean and was just what we wanted (two couples and a small dog) Communication when we had a question was extremely prompt and helpful

Just ok, older home, small, difficult to communicate with agency

This agency is not the owner and seems to just be a platform to list a home. It is difficult to reach someone who can help you with any problems. The home is in a great location, the back yard is lovely. The kitchen has a lot of room and the appliances are new. The furniture is old, the rooms are on the smalller side (especially the en-suite bathroom, though we did appreciate having it in our room).

Enjoyable accommodations - excellent location

Truly enjoyed the Santa Fe atmosphere -- both in town and in the home. Clean. Quiet. 10 minutes from downtown. Easy walk uphill to fort Marcy.Enjoyed ourselves.

Great Santa Fe neighborhood

This was our 2nd year staying in this sweet little casita. Very comfortable and convenient for walking into town. A few minor repairs and improvements would be appreciated. But, Im sure we'll be back!

Ideal home and location

The short walk to EVERYWHERE is ideal. The well-designed space in the casita is perfect for 2 adults. The "Guest" shampoos and well-stocked kitchen make this house feel like a real home.

Santa Fe Enchantment

The house was lovely and very comfortable and well equipped. Despite the hot temperatures outside the air conditioning kept us cool. We appreciated the quality flatwear, nice Tv, storage and comfortable beds and bathrooms. Our suggestions—matching unchipped coffee mugs, better quality towels and matching hangers, the lock system was very awkward to use.

Company difficult to reach

The biggest problem with this rental is the company. I would think twice about renting from this company again. It is not a real property management company, it is merely a platform to list the home. There is a local person who does maintenance and arranges cleaning, but this person is impossible to reach. You have to text or call the main company, which puts you on hold or does not respond for up to a day. There are no instructions given for how to use anything or where anything is. The home was nice, in an old adobe. The place could use a little TLC and a refresh. One of the doors kept sticking so one of us couldn’t get out of the bedroom. The furniture is old and heavy and not very attractive, and the linens are old and worn. The living room furniture is not very comfortable, especially the two heavy wooden chairs opposite the couch. The place is small, and it’s easy to keep bumping into the heavy large old furniture. The beds are comfortable. The kitchen is the one part that is modern and very well-appointed, with new appliances that work well. The washer and dryer is excellent. The individual room air conditioners work well. The bathroom that is inside one of the bedrooms is much too small. The larger, nicer bathroom is in the hallway. It seems the en-suite was added on after the home was built. There is an advantage to having it in the room, but it’s still too small with little room for your stuff, or to even turn around. The back yard is beautiful!

Santa Fe week vacation

This is a tale of two reviews: the property itself, which we enjoyed, and the property management company (Vacasa), which was horrendous.The property itself was lovely and as advertised; comfortable and basically clean, although since it’s pet-friendly additional care needs to be taken to ensure pet hair is vacuumed up more thoroughly. Fireplace is a little sad (electric), knives are still dull (see earlier reviews) and the dishwasher doesn’t clean dishes. Plus — cockroaches. Ick. As for Vacasa: awful. Completely unresponsive (as in, on hold for half an hour on check-in — we had a basic question we needed assistance with — they never picked up) — also didn’t respond to the “chat” option. They offered us a late checkout for a 50 fee which we took them up on, only to find out that they never processed this late checkout with the electronic door lock company which resulted in our being locked out of our house. No apologies, wholly unprofessional — completely unimpressed and will never rent again where Vacasa manages.

Check in day disaster!

Our overall stay was good. Great location, walking distance to plaza shopping and restaurant very convenient. Casa nicely furnished. Just about everything was great except for rental management company. On check in day the house had not been cleaned and was not ready for dour arrival at 4 pm. I even received a text from management company stating that it had been cleaned and ready for us earlier than usual. Delayed response thru text and phone to get rental cleaned for us to stay the following day. Was not ready until after 4 pm the following day. Probably will never stay in another place that uses that manager company.

Comfortable, walkable home base

This house offered a very convenient and comfortable home base for our Santa Fe vacation as a family of four with two school-age kids. Pros: Easily walkable to the Plaza and surrounding areas, excellent foam mattresses (somewhat firm/supportive), plenty of linens, separate twin beds in the second bedroom are good for kids, wall unit ACs work great. This place feels homey, thanks to the comfortable furniture, hardwood floors, southwestern vibe in the decor, collection of pottery mugs for your coffee/tea. One thing to be aware of is that en suite bathroom with shower stall is attached to the room with the twin beds, while the bathroom with the tub is in the hallway closest to the "master" bedroom ... so if you're travelling with kids you might be doing some musical chairs with the bathrooms at bath time. Only two cons to plan around: One, while the kitchen was well stocked on appliances, it was lacking some basic items for simple cooking (no big mixing bowl for salads or pasta, no baking sheet for the oven, every chef knife was extremely dull). We only made two very simple meals at home, but had to get creative because of these issues. Two, the rental company is not very responsive by email or phone (I sent two messages prior to travel, one thru VRBO and the other thru Vacasa's app ... both took 4-5 days to get a response; I called the 24/7 hotline while there, they said the would "reach out to the local team and get back to me" but I did not get a call back on my issue within 24 hours). However, they are quickly responsive via text -- once I tried that, I had a conversation with a live person right away, and then the local team fixed the issue at the house same day. So if you need anything while you're there, just call the helpline and select the text support option for quick support.

Perfect Location!

This unit is the ideal Santa Fe location. It's a quick and easy walk to the plaza and all museums and restaurants. The space is beautiful, spacious, and very clean and the management company was responsive and helpful. There are ample outdoor spaces which would make for delightful happy hours and family dinners. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Near Fort Marcy & Plaza

About 10 minutes stroll to Santa Fe Plaza. Quiet street off Paseo de Peralta. Easy check-in & check-out process. Everything was good. Lots of clean utensils, pots and pans. Washer worked well. Heating worked well.

Lovely home

We were very happy with our stay at Casa Mirador. It it was very clean. The beds were comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed. It was close to shops, Georgia O’Keefe museum, Trader Joe’s and Whole Foods.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The rental was clean. Bed in main bedroom was not very comfortable. The heater did not work the entire time I was there but I used a small heater and didn't bother to report it. The heating unit or some equipment made a terrible noise every night in the middle of the night that woke us up so we didn't sleep well. A cutting board in the kitchen would be a nice addition. The worst part is the local management company. A day after my stay I called and reported that my daughter left her airpods. She has a screen shot where it confirms that the location was the rental. I offered to pay for shipping of the return of the airpods. It has been 10 days and no one has bothered calling me about it and at this point I will assume the housekeeper decided to keep them. Not great service on the local company's part. The lack of response is terrible and unprofessional. I can't imagine how it would be if it were an important medical device I left and not airpods.

The property and parking were super easy access! The place was clean and comfortable and walking distance to the plaza and everything. Easy access to checkin and unlock the door and great outside seating options to enjoy the weather. Toiletries were great too
