The historic Adobe home was amazing. Spacious and clean with a lot of space. We loved sitting in the garden and chatting. I would absolutely stay here again!
Fantastic stay in a beautiful home! Excellent and very thorough communication with our host. Home and garden are even better than the photos suggested. Location is perfect with an easy walk to Canyon Road and the Plaza. Kitchen is incredibly well equipped! We were a group of 5 adults and had plenty of room to hang out together and separately. While it is a single story home rooms have steps between them.
Delightful home and garden in charming neighborhood
We enjoyed a wonderful 5 days in this lovely home. I have never stayed in a better appointed and maintained VRBO property. Canyon Road is nearby and the Plaza is walkable although we chose to drive and park. It was always great to come home to this warm and welcoming house after our explorations at Ghost Ranch, Taos Pueblo and Bandelier. We had some meals at the house; other times we enjoyed several outstanding local restaurants in the Plaza area. The garden and patio are absolutely charming..
This house is absolutely amazing! Super clean, quiet, cozy, great location. Fantastic coffee shop right around the corner, a two-minute walk to canyon road. We did not cook a single meal, but the kitchen and dining area are wonderful. Great outdoor spaces for the morning/evening. Host was very responsive. Check-in/out was simple and straightforward.
We really liked the house! Quite comfortable for the three of us! Beautiful garden patio, & very convenient location to galleries & downtown area. Owner very prompt to respond to our inquiries, etc. Highly recommend Fabulous Eastside Historic Adobe Home!
second time at this property! Love the location. Had a couple of minor issues this time. Door code didnât work but contact with the owner quickly resolved the issue. There were no coffee filters so we had to run out and buy some. We had to search the house a bit to find extra toilet paper for one of bathrooms.
Great location! The only issues is the lack of closets in the bedrooms and there are lots of small steps. Communication was great! I would stay there again!
This home is a ~100 year old adobe family home with key updates including a very nicely appointed kitchen, a comfortable living room and beds for 5 (6 in a pinch).
It really is walking distance to much of what a visitor wants to see in town. Easy parking for two vehicles. Plenty of hot water,
The best place to stay in Santa Fe hands down. Clean, fully stocked with necessary items, short walk to Canyon Rd. and the Plaza. Beautiful courtyards and plenty of room for family. Coffee shop one block away. Best restaurants in Santa Fe are in walking distance such as Geronimo, El Faron, Pink Adobe, Pasqualâs and the Shed. Fran is very responsive when you need to communicate.
Great location if you want to be within walking distance of the Plaza and Canyon Road, but in a quiet historic neighborhood. The nicest part of this house is that it has several lovely courtyards that you can relax in. Very good kitchen. The only note I offer is that like a lot of old houses, there are several small steps that separate rooms from rooms, and one person in our party who had a cane had to take extra care with that. But otherwise, a really wonderful place.
We absolutely loved our stay in this awesome house. The house had everything we possibly needed during our stay and the location was incredible! Communication with the owner was easy and we always got a quick response. Only taking one star off because the house could have been a bit cleaner, but we loved it so much it didnât really affect our stay.
Spent 5 nights with our three school age kids over their spring break. The home was exceptionally clean and well appointed. Itâs within easy walking distance to everything downtown yet on a quiet street with no traffic or road noise. The only time we needed a car was when we were leaving Santa Fe. It had plenty of room to spread out, great outdoor spaces, and provided a lovely peaceful base to explore Santa Fe and surrounding areas.
This house is such a gem, we had plenty of room (myself, my mother, my 18 year old daughter) to spread out, and both the dining room and kitchen were wonderful places to come together. Lots of courtyards to read in, or enjoy the birds and sun, and perfectly located! Really cannot wait to go back.
Four adults, including 80 yr old mother, stayed for four nights. We valued the location (so peaceful) more than anything else, as we were able to walk almost everywhere (grocery store and Meow Wolf the exceptions), including walking Canyon Road every day. House was clean, ambiance was perfect for Santa Fe, and all of our lodging needs were met.
We had two minor issues. The varying elevations between rooms caused several stubbed toes and almost falls, especially from master bedroom to master bathroom. We eventually started laughing at each other with each stumble. The other issue was the master bath/shower, which required stepping over the side of the tub without any support. My wife, 5â3â, was more comfortable using one of the other showers. Would not recommend this house if one has mobility issues.
Overall, we had a great stay. Host was communicative and clear, so my 4 rating is likely more indicative of my scale rather than anything sub-standard. I reserve my 5-star ratings for truly exceptional stays and values. Just my view.
Beautiful home with great amenities, One block from Canyon Rd and short hike under shade trees along the Santa Fe River to The Plaza. Very responsive to our needs. We felt like we were at home, only better! Will definitely stay there again.
Franâs home is delightful! The patios are beautiful and the house is fully equipped with whatever you need. The home is decorated with the wonderful Santa Fe vibeâŠ..we hope to return for another stay!!đ
Canât say enough good things about this property. The location next to Canyon Road couldnât be better. The house was immaculate, well equipped, and had two beautiful outdoor areas. Loved having a parking space. The owner responds very quickly to any communication.
Loved our stay here. It looked great online when we booked it and it's even better in person. It was comfortable, clean and quiet. Perfect for our family of four; everyone had plenty of space. The kitchen was well-appointed. We really enjoyed relaxing outside in the garden. It was an easy walk to galleries and restaurants. Would definitely stay there again.
This beautiful old home started life the same way most old Santa Fe homes did, as a single room adobe home. That room is now the living room with the rest of the house grown around it.
There are great outdoors opportunities all around, from skiing in the mountains, to hiking in the Dororthy Stewart and Dale Ball trails, which are only 10 minutes away and have a many easy and moderate hikes through the foothills of the Sangre de Christo Mountains.
This house is located in one of the enchanting historical eastside of Santa Fe, where sometimes around dusk the light turns magical and the mountains glow pink. From Casa Delgado, the galleries of Canyon road are around 100 yards away. You can take a gallery tour in the evening and follow it with a world-class meal at Geronimo's, The Compound or El Farol, where some nights you catch a traditional Flamenco show. In the mornings you can walk over to 'Downtown Subscription' for a fresh-brewed espresso and fresh pastries.
