We love our home away from home and are ready to share it with others when we are not able to enjoy it ourselves!
Just a few steps down to the water where you can have your boat docked for a day on the lake (please check online water levels http://granbury.lakesonline.com/Level/, due to everchanging conditions). 3 Minutes from De Cordova Bend Dam Park, 7 min to Revolver Brewery, 10 minutes to De Cordova Bend Golf Course, 10 minutes to Acton Nature Center, 20 minutes to Historic Downtown Granbury where you will find plenty of entertainment, shopping ,dining and festivals.

Peaceful paradise on July 4th

We absolutely enjoyed our stay here on Lake Granbury at Emerys Escape We Caught catfish just a few steps from the back door. The hot tub was a huge bonus to relax and enjoy after a long day of shopping. We can’t wait to return.

Had great amenities that you could actually use! We travel all of the time and are often disappointed when we cannot use amenities like fireplace, etc. Not the case here....they even provided pool towels, smore's sticks, and much more. The furniture and beds were comfy and we had an amazing getaway. We absolutely loved the deck, the firepit area and hot tub. They thought of everything to make our stay easy. Also loved the decor. Highly recommend.

Family reunion

We had a wonderful stay. The house was very clean. The kitchen was well appointed. Our beds were super comfortable. Unfortunately it was too cold to enjoy the outdoors. We chose this property because it was walking distance from the rest of our family which had rented a much larger house.

Great place, very responsive owners

Check in was easy. The house was nice and had everything needed. The door lock battery died, however the owner quickly responded to fix it. The only suggestion was the floor was very dirty, nothing else was. Would stay again!

Clean and inviting

The property owners keep a clean and well maintained property. We enjoyed playing games and relaxing in the hot tub before our big Spartan Race! My sisters birthday falls on this weekend and we had a great weekend in nearby downtown.

Birthday get away!

Me and my girlfriend came down for her birthday and it was amazing! The place was super clean, everything we needed for a good time was there. I would book it again any time!

Fun Weekend Getaway

We had a great time! The property is perfectly maintained, & our favorite part was the fabulous back patio. It rained on & off throughout our stay (spring in TX), but it was not a problem as we were able to play cards at the little table on the back patio & then soak in the hot tub while the rain pitter-pattered on the covered porch. A note to future guests - this property is adorable! - it's the nicest place in the neighborhood. One neighbor across the street has what I'll refer to as a "modern art installation" of two used mattresses on display in their front yard, but obviously that's out of the owner's control. We always felt safe, & we didn't have any issues. If you're there on a Friday or Saturday night, check out The Grove Wood Fired Pizza. It's 5 minutes away, & it's delicious. We had a wonderful weekend stay with terrific hosts!

Nice Getaway!

My husband and I came for a little Weekend Getaway! The place was very nicely decorated and very clean. Plenty of room for a big family if you needed. It rained on us so we did not get to enjoy much of the outside, but the hot tub is covered so we took full advantage of that!! We would definitely consider coming back again!

Well-maintained lake house near Lake Granbury

The house has plenty of space for a relaxing visit and is near the water. One tip for driving directions from out of town, if your app is routing you through Pecan Plantation, it's a large gated community that you can't drive through. Instead, make sure to route through Acton or over the Lake Granbury bridge. Save yourself a good 20 minutes of extra driving.

Great getaway

If you are good with driving a little bit to get to restaurants and activities or you are just going to go there and stay it is going to be great for you!! My kids loved that the road wasn’t busy so they could play, the hot tub, fishing just a few steps from back door, and the fire pit.

ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC

If you’re looking for a clean home, a well stocked home, quiet neighborhood, great location, water views, comfortable beds and relaxation…you’ve found the place! Our family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this home. We also had the blessed pleasure of meeting the wonderful owners! They are a sweet, kind and beautiful couple! They love their place. They take care of it well and they enjoy sharing it with others and it shows very well!! You will not go wrong spending your time in this home!!

Karen and I had been looking for water front properties where we could spend our weekends for quite some time when we stumbled across this fixer upper. We took it on with great excitement to give it new life and for it to be what it is today. We enjoy it so much, we decided to share it with others! Karen has been working as a Realtor for over 7 years and loves helping others buy and sell properties. I work in North Arlington as a Facilities Supervisor after selling Ford Parts for 30 years. As we celebrate 35 years of marriage with 2 children, their spouses and 6 grandkids we find ourselves loving every minute we have on the water! Our goal is for you to enjoy your time spent here enough to refer family and friends to stay at Emery's Escape too. We are asking for you to give us a 5 star rating and a positive review!

Emery's Escape is minutes away from everything with tons of amenities for a quiet getaway, a romantic weekend, a full vacation spot, a guy's golfing /fishing trip, a girl's shopping weekend, or just hang with family in a different spot than home or hotel. Full Kitchen set up, 3/2 1650 sq ft home with hot tub, back deck, fire pit, fishing pier, yard space to run and play. Grill your steaks and drink your wine inside or out - take your pic depending on the weather. Located on a canal, you are a few minutes boat ride to open water. Bring your own boat or rent one on the lake and tie it up to the seawall during your stay. De Cordova Dam Park is 2 miles away with swimming, free camping and fishing pier in addition to free boat launching. Our friends have given such great feedback, we know you will love it too!
