Secluded, renovated, cabin with gorgeous mountain views, firepit, hot tub
Welcome to Smoky Views!
Smoky Views cabin is located in Townsend on a large property (about 5 acres) with gorgeous views of the mountains.
Great news! The pool at Honeysuckle Meadows is opening a whole month earlier than usual this year, April 26th! Book a stay and make sure you get to enjoy a pool with the view of the Smokies all around.
The cabin has 2 bedrooms, one en suite bathroom and a half bathroom upstairs. The master bedroom is located on the main floor with an en suite bathroom.
On the main floor, there is a kitchen, a dining area and a living room area with a wood burning fireplace. You also have access to the deck where you can enjoy coffee, a meal with nice views or relax in the hot tub.
Upper level has one bedroom (queen bed) and a half bathroom. From the loft you can sit and enjoy beautiful views of the mountains. The cabin also shares volley ball net and playground with other cabin on the property (sleeps 14 - about 300 ft away from this one).
Family of 3 with a 3 year old stayed for a week and appreciated the location and easy drive to Townsend, Cades Cove, and Gatlinburg. House was easy to find and the roads were easy to navigate. Overall satisfied with the accommodations, kitchen equipment, and fire ring seating that provides an awesome spot to enjoy the million dollar view. Shower is hilariously small, tub is freakishly big, and the linens definitely pop off the mattress every night...lol. Nevertheless, I would recommend this house for anyone with a small family or couple looking for a nice get away. Cheers!
We had a great week-long stay in the cabin. The cabin is secluded but only a few minutes away from the amenities in Townsend and the entrance to GSMNP. We'd definitely recommend that people stay on the "Peaceful Side of the Smokies" rather than being surrounded by the craziness of Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge.
I love the location its very peaceful and rural. This is my second time staying at this cabin and I'll probably go again. Only thing Id recommend is to clean the oven. I cooked the entire week I was there and I can smell it burning. Helene is always gracious!
This is a beautiful little cabin, very quiet and secluded. Everything you need right there in the cabin. The only thing to critique is, the bedâs sheets would not stay on ever and popped off the entire night. It made it difficult to sleep well. We are hikers and are out all day so we like good sleep before heading out on our next adventure. We would love to stay here again.
The owner was very attentive and answered any questions that I had promptly. Cabin was adorable. Loved building fires outside in the fire pit and watching the view. It was clean and very relaxing! Will definitely go again!
I had rented this house for my inlaws to stay in for the week of our wedding. It was on the same property as the house my family had stayed in. It was nice to have both families on in the same area. The only concern they had was that the shower was too tiny, they said it was hard to move around, as it was very narrow. Also, the upstairs only has a sink and a toilet, there was no shower upstairs. Other than that, they seemed to be happy with the hot tub and the front porch with the views!
I went there planning on hiking a lot, I loved the house and porch overlooking the mountains so much I relaxed more than planned. It is a perfect setting.
There is 2 houses on the "lot", it's a big lot and the other family didn't interrupt my peace, but it's not 100 percent a solo land if you hate people haha. The views are perfect though. Great location.
I loved the peace and quiet when I was there. Gorgeous mountain view and the hot tub enhanced this. The cabin is decent sized especially for one person and their pet. Host Helene was awesome she was always courteous before and after the trip. Definitely recommend will probably go again!
Very clean nice property with a great view of the mountains. Great porch and plenty of rocking chairs. Grill is in great condition and plenty of LP. Also, they have a wonderful fire pit with comfy Adirondack chairs and plenty of seasoned fire wood. I need to stress again that this place was very clean on our arrival. Fresh linens and towels. Host is very easy to contact and check in was a breeze. We had no problems our entire stay. Roads are steep and narrow in areas, but this is to be expected in the mountains and foothills. I was still able to get in anywhere with my Ram 3500 dually long bed and was able to turn around in the driveway. Cades Cove is very close and Townsend is a nice friendly area. Maryville is a 20 minute drive for any major shopping needs, Sevierville and Pigeon Forge are roughly 30 minute drives. Still driving any distance is no big deal as the scenery is absolutely stunning and distracts you from time in the vehicle. We will definitely go back and stay here again. Love the area.
