Come enjoy our 3000+ sq ft 5B/3B spacious home with stunning views of Lake Whitney!
Located just off FM 1713, our home sits on over 1 acre with a private, gated entrance! We have plenty of outdoor space for family fun, parking, and to accommodate all your lake toys. Launch your boat and/or jet skis just across the Katy Bridge at Cedron Creek Park! Our property backs up to Army Corps of Engineers property and does not go all the way to the lake, but there is a rocky trail leading to the lake that guests can access.
Enjoy your morning coffee, breathing the fresh air, and enjoying the view from our shaded 1000+ sq ft porch. Rain or shine, the porch is an excellent outdoor space to have fun or relax. Just off the porch, catch some rays from the uncovered deck!
Although we do NOT allow pets INDOORS, we do have a huge, fenced area for them to join you on your vacation! A pet fee of $200.00 per pet will be applied for approved pets. AN ADDITIONAL $500.00 PER PET WILL BE CHARGED IF PETS ARE BROUGHT INDOORS.
Canât get enough of the outdoors? We do have a charcoal grill located in the garage that guests are welcome to use, but it must be used on the ground outside of the home. Please do NOT take the grill to the porch upstairs or use it on the covered porch downstairs.
Since Lake Whitney is one of the top fishing lakes in Texas offering White, Striped, Smallmouth, and Largemouth Bass, Catfish, and Crappie (to name a few), we knew we needed to have a huge outdoor sink for you to clean your catch!
Enjoy the stunning views of Lake Whitney from the 2nd level, which consists of the ownersâ retreat, living room, fully stocked kitchen, laundry room with full-size washer and dryer, 2nd bedroom, and bathroom. The 1st level consists of the remaining 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a 2nd living room. Our home is perfect for multiple families to enjoy while having space to themselves when desired.
To make your stay more enjoyable, we recommend you bring the following items:
Folding chairs for downstairs use
Charcoal for pit
Firewood for the fire pit (please verify we are not under a burn ban during your stay)
Goodies for Sâmores (you canât forget the important lake staples!)
Lake floats and towels (do NOT remove towels from the home)
Fishing poles
Lifejackets
Sunscreen
Bluetooth Speaker
Firestick or other streaming device (we have smart TVs but do not offer cable or satellite)
Extra paper goods (we do supply 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom and 1 roll of paper towels upon arrival)
Laundry detergent

Please sign our guestbook located in the living room and tell us about your stay!
MARCH-OCTOBER set both thermostats to COOL 75. NOVEMBER-FEBRUARY set both thermostats to HEAT 55. Please make sure the sliding glass door downstairs is left open to the living room, and the wall unit downstairs is turned off.
Please strip the bedding from the beds that were used and leave them on the same bed.
Place all dirty towels/rags from bathrooms in bathtubs and kitchen in laundry room baskets.
Make sure the sink is empty of all dishes. Dishes placed in the dishwasher need to be started.
Sweep and/or vacuum any areas that have excess crumbs, dirt, etc.
Remove ALL trash from the home and place it in cans outside. If you have excess trash that will not fit in the 2 outdoor cans WITH the lids CLOSED, please take it with you. Do NOT leave trash in the house or outside of cans outdoors for rodents to destroy and scatter about.

Smoking and/or vaping are prohibited indoors. Please do not smoke near doors or open windows. If we smell odors of or determine smoking and/or vaping has taken place inside, we will charge the person who placed the reservation a fee of $500.
You must be at least 25 years of age to rent our home, and someone 25 or older must be present at ALL times guests under the age of 25 are present. You will be asked to send a copy of your government-issued ID with your photo, name, and year of birth visible to prove your age. Feel free to mark out all other personal information!
Our home sleeps 12 adults, but we allow up to 16 TOTAL guests (12 ADULTS MAX), including children 17 or under IF requested UPON booking.
If you aren't certain how many people will be joining you during your stay, we recommend you request the maximum number of guests UPON booking as we do NOT allow ADDITIONAL guests on the property at any time during your stay.
If we determine there are more people present than the number of guests requested when booking (MAX of 12 adults) at ANY time during the reservation, we will charge the renter a fee of $50 per person, per night.
We do NOT allow parties and/or other events at our home. We, as property owners, have the right to evict renters and guests with NO refunds given if there is a party and/or other activities that are taking place that goes against our stated rules or otherwise. .
If we determine a party and/or other event took place, we will charge the person who placed the reservation a fee of $1000, NO EXCEPTIONS! NO CONFETTI TYPE DECORATIONS ALLOWED, or there will be an additional charge for clean up.
City and state taxes, in addition to cleaning fees and Standard Property Damage Protection Policy, will be added to all reservation fees.
The property line does NOT go all the way to the lake, but guests can access the trail and use it at their own risk.
STAY AT YOUR OWN RISK: The Property Owners NOR other associated personnel are responsible for injuries that occur due to ANY problems including accidental, medical, and/or other events that occur while staying at the property and/or leaving the property.

My husband I are honored you are considering our home for your next Whitney vacation! I grew up coming to this lake to see family and could not wait to purchase a piece of this beautiful creation for myself. We named our home "Tranquility on Whitney" due to the quiet, peaceful, and amazing view from the covered porch that we enjoy no matter the time of year. What better way to enjoy Gods creation? The only thing I would add if I could would be a snow top mountain in the distance!
Not only is the view amazing from the porch, the entire 2nd floor will offer you opportunities to admire the beauty. Being a mom of 4, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. I talked my husband into having a huge picture window installed directly in front of the sink so even when I am in the kitchen, I can enjoy the view!

Not only is the view amazing from the porch, the entire 2nd floor will offer you opportunities to admire the beauty. Being a mom of 4, I spend a lot of time in the kitchen. I talked my husband into having a huge picture window installed directly in front of the sink so even when I am in the kitchen, I can enjoy the view!
