Enjoy the outdoors and beautiful sunsets with a screened in sunroom, fire pit, and stairs to the lake. Relax in the open concept kitchen and living room while having the privacy of three large split bedroom with 2 full bathrooms. There are multiple marinas nearby to cruise the lake on your boat or jet-ski.

Gorgeous lake, great lake house!

This was our first time to Lake Whitney and we will definitely be back. This lake house is great for family, had all the amenities and very clean. The property manager was very helpful and easy to work with.

Scenic views and lake access

After looking for quite some time, we finally found this property. It is one of the few that has great views from elevation and also lake access (although it is somewhat of a climb). Kitchen is well equipped and the decor is perfect for a lakehouse. We were able to back a boat trailer into the driveway but it is not for the novice. Lake Whitney is beautiful and not far from Waco and Hillsboro. Whitney is a small town and has super friendly people. Can't wait to come back!

We really enjoyed this property!

This was a great area to stay on Lake Whitney. The house was very clean and full stocked with all necessities. Kitchen had everything you would need. Beds were all comfortable too. The owner Stuart is great. He answered all questions and gave multiple suggestions! It is a bit of a steep walk down to the cove, but we were able to manage fine. We really enjoyed fishing down there despite the fact that we didn’t catch anything. The water level on the lake was really high during our visit so the dam was open making a kayak trip impossible. We will definitely do that when we return next time.

Perfect!

Our stay at Cliffside was perfect. It felt very welcoming the moment we turned in the driveway. Here are some of the things about Cliffside that made our time so enjoyable: •A beautiful view of the lake! •The quiet. •Plenty of places to gather together and spots to be alone for a time, both indoors and outdoors. . •Comfortable beds and furniture, room for growing teens to sprawl. •A well stocked kitchen, just bring your groceries and you are set to prepare meals at “home”. •The welcome basket, filled with eclipse treats for us. •The chess board! •Everything was clean. •We found BBQ and the best brownie sundaes ever close by. •Being April when we visited, the Bluebonnets and other wild flowers were fabulous. I could go on and on, but I will end this review with a 5 star rating. We loved our time spent at Cliffside!

A wonderful fun and relaxing weekend!

The home had so many lovely and interesting spaces both inside and out to enjoy. The back porch opened out to the beautiful tree filled landscape and lake. Swimming in the cove was yet another peaceful and fun space for the famiy to spend time together. We all want to come back again!

Great Stay!

We had a great time at Cliffside. The house was clean and fit our needs. The master bedroom bedding was very plush and we slept great. There were cardinals greeting us in the morning out on the screened in patio. It is kind of hard to find and none of the outside lights were on when we arrived, had it not been dark and raining it might have been easier to see. The kitchen was well stocked and we found the book with restaurants and shopping locations very helpful.

Amazing week

This home is gorgeous, lots of windows and natural light. This place met everyone's needs. It comfortably slept 8 people, the place never felt crowded. The scenery from the patio is beautiful, the sunroom was perfect in the morning with coffee. This place had everything. We can't wait to go back.

We will for sure be back!

Great, great property...very responsive owner. Very clean. Great layout with the three bedrooms nicely spaced apart. Open kitchen, dining and living areas - great for family gatherings. Well thought out furnishings. Super nice patio. Driveway / parking area recently upgraded - really nice. We will absolutely stay at this home on future lake trips.

Peaceful Retreat

Very quiet getaway! There is lots of room for guests to relax. Open kitchen/dining/living area. Large deck with view of lake. Seems very secluded even though it has neighbors on both sides. Master BR is very nice with very comfortable bedding. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Great Getaway!

This was a great weekend getaway from the big city! It was bigger than what we needed as a couple, but offered us flexibility in our stay. Decor is very eclectic and has that family heritage lake house vibe. We enjoyed the the outdoor deck in the cooler mornings during a early Texas heat wave! Bring you bug spray as it was a must in the early June evenings! We did have to walk down to the lake shoreline to get the full sunset views due to the matured trees were blocking the view. This was the place to be at sunset! Beautiful cove on the lake! I got to go fishing along the shoreline! No catches in the evening but I was happy to catch a nice Striper and a Largemouth bass the next morning! The house was comfortable and clean and well stocked with essentials. (Thankful for the pizza cutter in the drawer!) But make sure you done forget your shampoo and a bar of soap as there was no hotel sized freebies available. Overall a great getaway destination! Thanks again!

Best place we’ve stayed at on Lake Whitney

Everything was fantastic. Having lake access was great and very rare on lake Whitney. The steps leading down to the lake are quite a workout though so people with mobility issues will not be able to walk down to the lake. Not a problem for anybody in our group, but just a heads up. We brought the boat and tied up right there in the cove so no need to trailer it each time you go out on the lake. House is very nice and comfortable. Do not hesitate to book this place.

Perfect getaway

We enjoyed our stay so much at Clifside. Our family needed a getaway away from work and this place was so peaceful! There is everything you need in the kitchen, the beds and pillows are super comfy and we enjoyed the patio! Thx for a wonderful stay in your home!

Ideal place to spend Easter 2022!

This spacious home has an inviting deck for drinks in addition to a well stocked kitchen. There is plenty of space for a family to relax. Next time (yes, we will return) we will try out the screened in room and the beautiful outside dining/grilling area.
