Great stay in Waikoloa

Wonderful condo, nicely furnished and very comfortable, perfect for two. Great base for cycling and beach. A-Bay nice, but Hapuna worth the short drive. Lava Lava Beach Club is walking distance, and fabulous!

Week stay in Hawaii

Great condo for our week in Hawaii. Condo was clean, had everything we needed, and felt like home. Complex itself was pretty quiet which was nice. Complex is located near walking trails, shops, and restaurants. We would stay here again.

Wonderful condo with well shaded lanai. Kitchen/bathroom are well stocked. Everything is in great condition. This condo is well cared for. The Shores is a great location with easy access to restaurants, stores, etc.

Great location, beautiful condo

Beautiful property with close access to dining at tropics with a great happy hour. Also, just down the street from one of the best Sunset locations in the village. Condo is in great shape and had all we needed to have a great time at the beach available. Great communication from Kona vacations. Also loved the giant television!

Waikoloa Village Stay

Amazing condo! Great location. Amenities were very accurate and the condo itself was better than advertised. My partner and I were very happy with every aspect of the accommodations. Local customer service was very helpful when we reached out with numerous requests and always found a very quick solution to our needs. Highly recommend this vacation stay!

Hawaiian delight! Quiet Paradise

Beautifully appointed and redecorated Condo at The Shores. This one bedroom Condo is a wonderful getaway for two people who want to relax in a quiet environment surrounded by the Hawaiian beauty. The sunrise and sunset from the Lani are conducive to contemplation and serenity. A must to return to in the new year!

Waikoloa vacation

Wonderful condo in every way, spotlessly clean and bright, spacious and really great furnishings. Everything you need is available from beach chairs and umbrella to cooler and beach towels. Kitchen was well appointed. Lanai is wonderful, very spacious and comfortable for meals or relaxing in the shade. Close to restaurants and retail. Pool area is beautiful with a huge hot tub. We will definitely be back!

Awesome Condo

This is one of the best condos we have ever stayed in, comfortable and meticulously clean. The decorations and furnishings are exactly what I would have selected if I were doing it myself. We love the Shores for it's convenience to everything, and the beautiful surroundings. The pool and spa are wonderful. Most nights we had it to ourselves. Definately will book again next time we come to Kona.

Fantastic

We have family on the Big Island and always stay at Waikoloa Shores when we visit! This unit was perfect! It was just the two of us, so this one bedroom was beautiful and plenty spacious, even when family came to visit! It is beautifully decorated, fully equipped, and had a lovely, spacious lanai. Highly recommend it!

Clean, comfortable home in great community

This home was clean and comfortable with thoughtful touches like beach chairs and snorkel gear. The property manager was responsive and helpful, calling us upon arrival and bringing us more bath towels. The community was well-maintained and centrally located within a larger resort community with quick access to A-Bay beach, restaurants, shops & more. We'd recommend and we'll return!

A most excellent stay

This is a very nice condo well located in Waikoloa Village, easy to get anywhere within the village or to the many beaches on the Kona coast. This corner unit is very nicely furnished and has a big lanai to sit outside to enjoy coffee, dinner or an evening cocktail. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen well stocked with dishes, pans and appliances. I would definitely return to this rental in the future.

Well located large 1 BR condo unit

My wife and I rented this recently renovated 2nd fl 1 BR corner unit with a huge lanai in late January. The unit was well appointed with everything you would need for an enjoyable stay (including beach gear - snorkels, masks, boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella). The unite was very clean. Good location in the Waikoloa beach area; easily walkable to shops, restaurants, and most importantly the beach (10 mins or so). Go and enjoy!

Wonderful!

Fantastic apartment, beautiful inside spaces with luxury furnishings and large tvs, and a large balcony overlooking the pond. Plenty of useful equipment including kitchen and BBQ utensils, beach umbrellas / chairs / towels / floaties, pickelball gear, coolboxs, etc! Couldn't ask for more. Peaceful complex with a gym, tennis courts, and pool / jacuzzi. Approximately a 15-20 minute easy walk to the beach. There is an alehouse next to the complex for food and drinks, and a 10-15 minute walk to more restaurants. Approximately a 30 minute drive to Kona for more activities, and a 15/20 minute drive to some other beautiful beaches. Would highly recommend!

Beautiful, bright condo

We would absolutely stay here again. The location was convenient, it was beautiful inside with impeccable style, comfortable furniture including the bed, lots of closet space with a nice bureau as well. The outdoor patio was our favorite place to hang out. You can see the sunset between the other condo units - you still need a beach to get the full glory of a Hawaii sunset. But when we were tired from a day of family time, being able to watch it from our own patio was such a gift! The only thing that would make this place better is an ocean view. We would absolutely stay here again. Can't say enough about how relaxing the patio is and how inviting the home is - it really did feel like we came "home" at the end of each day.

Unit great, Property Management good but not great.

The property was as advertised. Very good condition, clean and just the right size for two of us. The unit had a clothes washer and dryer which made us pack light for the trip. Upon first use, the washer filled with water and quit. Wouldn’t turn on at all. We called Kona Coast and were assured a contractor would fix it the next day. No contractor showed up and this caused a big inconvenience for us. We were given a small $50 credit for the big inconvenience. Evidently they sent the contractor to the wrong unit and showed about $50 of care to find the right unit and fix it for us. We were committed to events the next couple days and had no chance to call back until we called to ensure we would not be charged for breaking anything. Again, great unit good but not great management.
