Everything was great! Perfect location and very walkable between beaches, bay and restaurants. Easy drive to other OC locations. Garage was tight but loved having it rather than finding street parking.

What a beautiful property in a really lovely area. Everything about this stay was great. The only thing I would recommend is an update on the bathroom shower maybe just some new grouting and a bleaching of the grouting on the floor, great place!

Everything was clean and well prepared. It's a block away from the Bay or the ocean with a garage for parking. We had a great holiday weekend here, and loved the place do much we decided to eat in more often than we expected. Couldn't ask for more!

Perfect location

The property was perfect for me and my wife. One block from the beach, 5-10 minutes walk to restaurants, convenience stores and bars. The place has everything one could need for their stay. It’s great having the garage so no searching for parking. The patio is a great extra for hanging out and having dinner. I would definitely recommend for anyone staying in the area.

Amazing location

The check in process was very easy and informative. It was a great stay as we were waiting to move to Hawaii and needed a place to stay with our dog for 5 days. Great convenient and beautiful neighborhood with a super easy walk to the beach and it was super convenient that they allow dogs. Honestly we did not stay long in the unit as we were out visiting friends every day so we did not really use the kitchen, etc.

All around great property

Looking for a place for just the two of you, this is perfect. Very nicely appointed 1 bedroom unit. Close to the bay and the ocean, fun zone, pier, restaurants all very close and an easy walk. I think the highlight of the unit is the garage. If you are familiar with the Balboa area you will know that parking can be tough so having a garage was awesome. You can go out in the car when you need to and not have to worry about street cleaning or finding a space. We would definitely stay again and will recommend to others.

Urine smell

Upon arriving and opening the door, I could smell the strong scent of animal urine. In fact, I'm pretty sure a dog or cat urinated on the couch facing the front of the house. The area rug is filthy and the bedroom carpet needs to be replaced, spots all over, I'm guessing animal urine. I am sanitizing everything I brought with me for my stay, including my dogs items. The unit is in need of paint and updating. The kitchen and bathroom were fine and stocked with needed items. Would not stay there again.

Great location close to the beach. The house was immaculate and comfortable. It was perfect for what I needed while there. The only advice I have is to give more detail about the size of the garage. I had read in a previous review that it was tight, so I rented a compact vehicle. I only had about a foot on either side of my car making it hard to get in and out of it.

we had a wonderful stay in this 1 bedroom beach home. Communication was perfect with owner and there were no issues with the home. Great location to be able to walk to many great restaurants and shops. Having a garage to park our car in was a bonus. Highly recommend this home if staying in Newport.

We spent the New year at this location and everything was great. The property was as described and the location was peaceful and nice. We had one issue during our stay and the host was very attentive and had it corrected within hours of us reaching out. Will stay here again.
