Detached spacious suite with Private enterance including private bathroom with walk in shower. Keyless entry. Mini fridge, coffee bar, micro. Close to town with many boutiques, antique stores and wonderful resturants.
Nice and clean space. No issues from check-in to check-out. Very easy entry procedure with designated parking spot. Host requires almost nothing in checkout procedures other than to make sure you have all of your belongings and garbage is in the garbage can in the room. My wife and I enjoyed our stay as we used it as a home base while visiting Sequoia and Yosemite.
We enjoyed the space and the thoughtful amenities left in the room. This wouldn't rank as one of the top vrbo we've ever stayed at, but the place was nicely put together, and anything that didn't quite meet our expectations is easily correctable for the next guests.
It was nice for a one-night stay. The place was easy to find, and the room was spacious.
A few things were not that good: no door separating the toilet from the rest of the room, the bed is quite old, and the floor needs good cleaning.
Lovely neighborhood, very quiet and on the edge of town. Convenient to both Kingâs Canyon Park and Sequoia National Parks. Room was large and had all the needed amenities. Even coffee! We recommend it!
We stayed a total of two nights while visiting national parks, the apartment was clean and had everything we needed. The host was very nice, She even shipped my favorite cap (which I forgot in the room).
I highly recommend this room If you are looking for a quiet place to rest after a long day at the park.
It was perfect for us! Actual size of the room is slightly larger than the photos show. Comfy bed, big shower. Very kind host. Easy to get to Visalia where all the restaurants are at. Would easily do this again if Iâm on the area again!
This was a good spot, in a cute town. The space was great for my partner and I. Location was an easy drive to Sequoia National Park. The only downside is the fridge was noisy.
I was visiting family in the area, and this VRBO was an ideal spot for me to stay those two nights. Everything was great. I did find a couple of hairs in the 2 bathroom sinks when I arrived, but other than that, no complaints. I slept well with the extra pillow provided when I requested it. It was very helpful. Communications were all done through the VRBO site/app, but that worked well considering the odd hours I was there. I would definitely rent again if I need a place to stay when I'm back in town.
I stayed in many hotels and it always feels cold. Staying here made me feel "honestly" like home. The best thing is that I didn't woke up in the middle of the night feeling the cold sheets and wishing more blankets. I sleeped like a baby, which made a very productive day. Thanks
Unfortunately, for the property owner t
Was not aware we were coming. We showed up around 8:00PM. Mary was extremely cordial and welcoming. She quickly completed preparations for our stay. Great host! I donât blame her the miscommunication. She couldnât have been more agreeable with our situation. Highly recommend this property!
Pros: Very quiet place and neighborhood.
Cons:
1. The carpets look dirty.
2. It's difficult to communicate with the host and get something you need. When I first entered the room, it was chilly. I contacted the host's daughter, and they raised the heater. Later on, I'd like to find utensils, and there was no response at all until I checked out. The host responded me the next morning saying that her phone was accidentally put into the standby mode.
3. The room has a microwave and fridge, but nothing else, no tissues, no utensils. If you plan to use the microwave, you need to prepare utensils and napkins.
3. The bed is not comfortable, leaning towards the center. It's good for a person who likes soft bed, but for two people it isn't the bed you'll use at home.
4. The distance to the National park is not close. It takes about 45 minutes to reach the gate. It's better to find a closer place in three rivers if you plan to enter the park multiple times.
So the 2 star is for raising the heater temperature in a raining chilly day. Otherwise, it would be 1 star.
Hairs on one of the two sinks, dirty coffee cups, ants on the vanity counter, VERY poor communication from the host (she only sent us a poor check-in instructions/info after we requested it, less than 24 hours before our arrival.) We had problem finding the place in the dark (when we arrived after dark): could not see the address number from the street (in our car), and she did not turn on the motion-sensored light at the front door (so we did not notice the front door of the unit). The place and the area was quiet though, facing a quiet street, and it was a relative short drive to the Sequoia National Park south entrance.
Nice to be able to come and go without a key with their system. Ultra comfortable bed. Issues resolved promptly. Very spacious and reasonably priced for the area.
