The property is beautiful! The room was very clean fresh linens awesome shower. Was perfect for our Sequoia trip. Highly recommend, would book again! The pool was amazing. Owners were very friendly and courteous. .
A great way to enjoy the countryside on a large ranch! I didnât realize he unit is the only one for rent but ultimately appreciated how private the experience felt. The property is large and multi purpose so it was just a neat way to rent a couple days besides the typical hotel lodging. Bathroom towels are new and clean, shower curtain is new, bed sheets are new, overall just a well manicured space considering it is a space from their garage. The owners did a great job renovating and itâs a cool spot extremely convenient to Sequoia NP.
This place has huge potential. The owner is fantastic to work with. Friendly and very willing to work with you. We had a cancelled flight and she offered us an extra day at no charge because we couldnât check in when planned. Property is a great location and very beautiful. The space its self definitely needs different ac set up. Maybe a mini split with venting for the bathroom. It was 103 degrees outside and so no ac in the bathroom made it very uncomfortable. An added touch would be to turn the ac on low before guest arrive so it doesnât take a long time to get cool. We gave a 2hr heads up so this would have been nice. The 1st night warm in the room. The pool was nice, maybe do something different with the little dogs left in the house next door. They constantly bark if you are by the pool.
The biggest issue was the bathroom light and socket lost power 2 of 3 evenings. No light over bathroom mirror which my girlfriend complained about when putting on makeup.Barking dog woke us up a couple of nights.Bed was very firm.My girlfriend didn't like the pillows and said they were lumpy. No closet to hang things up but there was some drawer space. (I prefer a closet.)Bathroom door is dirty but rest of unit was clean. Some areas on wall missing paint in entryway.Host was very nice.Pool and patio area nice but we didn't use either. One night we thought about going in the pool but it was a windy evening and there was a fair amount of debris (understandably) in the pool and we didn't feel like using the net to clean it out.Decent location but a bit far from Sequoia National Park and adds 50 minutes to daily drive (roundtrip).
Very welcoming and nice family! At the same time very discreet which I appreciate. We had the pool on this beautiful property for ourselves which we enjoyed a lot. After sunset we sat outside by the illuminated pool area. The AC is quite loud but we like to turn it out at night anyway so this was not a problem for us. Everything was clean. Only downside of this warm location in the middle of nature: there were some ants by the fridge which she explained to us before and apologized. She gave us a spray. And we had three cockroaches which we are not used to in cold Germany. We used the spray for them as well So just be aware this can happen. But again the property and the room were very clean!
What we really enjoyed about this VRBO was its proximity to Sequoia National Park. It was about a half hour drive to the entrance. The room was neat and clean. Check-in was a breeze. Itâs a lovely property with many picturesque views. Weâd definitely stay here again.
We loved our stay here! Elder and his wife were so hospitable, she even sent us off with fresh made tamales!! There was a retreat going on, but noise was never an issue. Beautiful property and a great private place to stay while visiting Sequoia National Park. Thanks for a wonderful stay!
We stayed here for our visit to Sequoia. There are a few towns not too far away to grab food and there was a taco truck just outside the property. The bed was comfortable and the space was clean. For summer travel we found the AC to be inadequate. Technically the bathroom has no AC but a floor fan. No soap in shower but towels were lovely! Very nice host!
Beautiful property, Great location!! The room is beautiful! Clean, spacious! Elder was great!
Great communication !!
Very convenient, easy arrival, check in and out !!
Would stay again! Thanks so much !!
Amazing, friendly, helpful and accommodating host! Always asking if we needed anything and offering us new things! Super understanding when things went awry for us and we ended up having to check in super late at night. The room was clean and private and cozy. Comfortable bed. Huge shower. The rental is located on a big beautiful property, and it was so much fun using the pool with a desert sunset backdrop.
The only cons were the tiny bugs on the floor in the bathroom and hallway, and the oppressive heat. Even though there was a fan and a cooling unit in the bedroom, it didn't cool down as much as we had hoped, but that probably can't be helped when it's 106 degrees out and I wouldn't count that against the rental.
Would stay here again for sure. In fact, we were already talking about "next time" as we were packing up to leave. Lovely place, safe and quiet. Thanks for a terrific stay!
Finding this hidden gem made our trip! Conveniently located just outside three rivers but still super close to the park entrance! The property was lovely and lit up for your return if you stay in sequoia past dark like we did!
Thank you for opening up your home to us and treating us like family, we cannot wait to be back
This place was perfect for our planned adventures in Sequoia National Park. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was modern. The host, Elder, was very friendly and accommodating.
We booked Elder's place for 3 nights while exploring Sequoia/Kings Canyon. Location is accurately described in listing and an easy drive to the parks. Elder was very friendly and accommodating. I would not hesitate to stay here again if we were in the area.
