Large private retreat

Welcome to the Birds Nest. We are located on 6 private acres. So sit back and enjoy the scenery. Located just 5 minutes up from the Hood Canal. You will be able to take advantage of all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. You will have all 4,000 sq feet of this beautiful custom home all to yourself.

The home has a large open floor plan. Plenty of room for everyone. A kitchen any chef would love to cook in. With 6 bedrooms on the main floor with beds made with comfort in mind… you will no doubt get a great nights sleep. We had fun in mind when we created the bonus room, so be ready to play or sit back and enjoy a movie on the big screen. The outdoors do not disappoint either. With a large outdoor patio, heated above ground pool and fire pit… you will want to spend just as much time outside as you do in. Lots of parking for cars and trailers.

With plenty of indoor and outdoor space, it makes the Nest the perfect place to come together with friends and family.

The owners live on site in the back of the property and do share the driveway. We are here to make your trip the best that it can be. We offer additional services such as grocery pick up and onsite cooking. Please message us for more information.

The total house was fully equipped, clean and well laid out. There were activities for all ages (25-80). Areas for privacy and areas for gathering. Outdoor walking areas. Quality furnishings.

Superb accommodation

I got a lot of praise from my family for finding this place — in truth all the accolades should go to Brenann and family for creating such a remarkable space. My group had a wonderful stay. Fun all day, indoors and out, plenty of unique spaces for everyone to enjoy.

Annual Family Vacation

Another great family vacation. We stayed during the 4th enjoyed the firework show and hiking trails at the Alderbrook resort. The kids loved playing in the pool, new playground, and feeding the fish. We also enjoyed exploring the parks nearby. Great location and lots to do with family of all ages.

Fantastic house

This was our second stay in this lovely house for our annual family trip. The house is terrific with plenty of room for everyone. It’s very clean. The kitchen is amazingly well equipped, and the outdoor areas are a lot of fun for everyone. The upstairs game and TV room is a particular hit with everyone in our family. Exceptional multi-family getaway

We can’t speak highly enough of our stay, there was plenty of space for our three families to spread out and enjoy ourselves! Between the pool, playground and upstairs game room, the kids had a blast and were constantly occupied. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked and there are lots of thoughtful touches throughout the house. We’ll be back for sure!

This is our second year staying at the house. We love all the fun activities plus the new upgrades. During the day we visited Twanoh state park and Belfair. Great for oysters and clams. For the colder days the game room and fire pit were great.

50th wedding anniversary

It was very spacious. When outside, no close neighbors. House was very well stocked with blankets, pillows, towels etc. Kitchen had everything we needed plus a lot more. Owners were quick to respond if we had a question. All our family that came want to come again.

So much to offer!

This house has everything! You will never want for games, pool floats, dishes, towels, or pillows! The hosts are also very responsive if you happen to need anything. Highly recommend!

Won't go anywhere else

After staying in the Bird's Nest two years ago, we three families stayed elsewhere last year. At that time we unanimously agreed that we had to come back here this year. This place has everything and more, and is very hard to beat. We had a wonderful, comfortable, and perfect time. The hosts are amazing!

Relaxing retreat for all ages

The Bird's Nest is everything advertised and so much more. Breann is a wonderful host and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. From the media room to the pool and play structure, there was something for everyone in our party of 13. The adults were able to rest and recharge while the kiddos ages 5-13 wore themselves out playing outside and exploring. Highly recommend!

Family Reunion

Our whole family stayed here to celebrate our parents' 55th wedding anniversary. The house was perfect! Plenty of bedrooms and sleeping areas for all of us. The house was very clean and well maintained. The owners are very friendly and communicative and had plenty of tips for activities in the area. The kids enjoyed the pool and playground. We could not have been any happier with our choice and hopefully we can stay here again!

The Perfect Escape!

A beautiful property and well cared for home. We felt the warmth and care put into this home from the moment we arrived. They literally thought of everything! With ample space for adults and kids to spread out and enjoy the property, fully stocked kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds and no shortage of fun - we hope to make this an annual trip.

Has it all in a comfortable home on a beautiful property

Brenann was awesome. She was quick answering all our questions about the property. The home has ample amenities. Swimming pool, fire pit and bonus game/media room offers extra entertainment. It was obvious that there was a lot of thought put in about having their guests feel comfortable. Highly recommended!

Fantastic house

We were in WA for a wedding, and the house was beyond wonderful very clean beautiful comfortable had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this place and the owners were wonderful. Very well decorated and lots to do they thought of everything! Even a birds nest on the front wreath with mother and eggs!!! Many activities I wish we would have had time to get in the fabulous pool. We used only 4 if the bedrooms all super comfortable.

Beyond Expectations

The home is all you could imagine and well maintained. It is contemporary and comfortable. The game room/media room is well designed and keeps all the family engaged. The outdoor area is park like and the pool is clean and large enough for family fun. Outside area has several seating arrangements. Owners are very responsive to questions.

Nice big house

15 of us gathered for a celebration, and found the Nest to be very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was large and fully supplied with cooking utensils, and several of us were able to work side by side. The pool was a big hit with the 6 grandkids, and the adults found it nice, as well. The kiddos also liked the bunk room. The owners were right on the property, and were very responsive to questions. We are in the process of getting everybody to commit to a schedule, and will reserve for next summer. Lots to do in the area, but plenty to do on site! Very comfortable place.

We are a family of 3 + 1 fur baby. We love the outdoors and all the things the Pacific Northwest has to offer. I love to cook, bake and create beautiful spaces. My boys love racing.

Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

We built this home from the ground up and have always had the intentions of some day sharing it with others. We want people to feel at home here and it was designed with comfort in mind.

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

With large spread out but open spaces. Everyone will find their favorite spot. My personal favorite is the sitting room or sitting next to the fire in the sunken fire pit. I am sure you will love the park like feel of the backyard or wandering through the garden.
