Welcome to the Birds Nest. We are located on 6 private acres. So sit back and enjoy the scenery. Located just 5 minutes up from the Hood Canal. You will be able to take advantage of all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer. You will have all 4,000 sq feet of this beautiful custom home all to yourself.

The home has a large open floor plan. Plenty of room for everyone. A kitchen any chef would love to cook in. With 6 bedrooms with beds made with comfort in mind… you will no doubt get a great nights sleep. We had fun in mind when we created the bonus room, so be ready to play or sit back and enjoy a movie on the big screen. The outdoors do not disappoint either. With a large outdoor patio, heated above ground pool and fire pit… you will want to spend just as much time outside as you do in. Lots of parking for cars and trailers.

With plenty of indoor and outdoor space, it makes the Nest the perfect place to come together with friends and family.

The owners live on site in the back of the property and do share the driveway. We are here to make your trip the best that it can be. We offer additional services such as grocery pick up and onsite cooking. Please message us for more information.

Won't go anywhere else

After staying in the Bird's Nest two years ago, we three families stayed elsewhere last year. At that time we unanimously agreed that we had to come back here this year. This place has everything and more, and is very hard to beat. We had a wonderful, comfortable, and perfect time. The hosts are amazing!

Exceptional multi-family getaway

We can’t speak highly enough of our stay, there was plenty of space for our three families to spread out and enjoy ourselves! Between the pool, playground and upstairs game room, the kids had a blast and were constantly occupied. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked and there are lots of thoughtful touches throughout the house. We’ll be back for sure!

Annual Family Vacation

Another great family vacation. We stayed during the 4th enjoyed the firework show and hiking trails at the Alderbrook resort. The kids loved playing in the pool, new playground, and feeding the fish. We also enjoyed exploring the parks nearby. Great location and lots to do with family of all ages.

Family Vaca

This is our second year staying at the house. We love all the fun activities plus the new upgrades. During the day we visited Twanoh state park and Belfair. Great for oysters and clams. For the colder days the game room and fire pit were great.

Relaxing retreat for all ages

The Bird's Nest is everything advertised and so much more. Breann is a wonderful host and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. From the media room to the pool and play structure, there was something for everyone in our party of 13. The adults were able to rest and recharge while the kiddos ages 5-13 wore themselves out playing outside and exploring. Highly recommend!

Wonderful property

This house is amazing. Beautifully maintained and clean and plenty of space for everyone. We especially loved the upstairs game/TV area and the pool table was a huge hit. Thank you, Brennan, for a wonderful time away with family.

Beyond Expectations

The home is all you could imagine and well maintained. It is contemporary and comfortable. The game room/media room is well designed and keeps all the family engaged. The outdoor area is park like and the pool is clean and large enough for family fun. Outside area has several seating arrangements. Owners are very responsive to questions.

Fantastic house

We were in WA for a wedding, and the house was beyond wonderful very clean beautiful comfortable had everything we needed. We would definitely recommend this place and the owners were wonderful. Very well decorated and lots to do they thought of everything! Even a birds nest on the front wreath with mother and eggs!!! Many activities I wish we would have had time to get in the fabulous pool. We used only 4 if the bedrooms all super comfortable.

Nice big house

15 of us gathered for a celebration, and found the Nest to be very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen was large and fully supplied with cooking utensils, and several of us were able to work side by side. The pool was a big hit with the 6 grandkids, and the adults found it nice, as well. The kiddos also liked the bunk room. The owners were right on the property, and were very responsive to questions. We are in the process of getting everybody to commit to a schedule, and will reserve for next summer. Lots to do in the area, but plenty to do on site! Very comfortable place.

Family Reunion

Our whole family stayed here to celebrate our parents' 55th wedding anniversary. The house was perfect! Plenty of bedrooms and sleeping areas for all of us. The house was very clean and well maintained. The owners are very friendly and communicative and had plenty of tips for activities in the area. The kids enjoyed the pool and playground. We could not have been any happier with our choice and hopefully we can stay here again!

House Extraordinaire!!

This house has everything that you would possibly need to gather and celebrate life! We were a family of 22 ( all ages) gathering to celebrate our daughters wedding! So beautiful, so many things to do! The grands were thrilled with the space to run and play outside! And game room extraordinaire! Plus feeding the fish! Comfy spaces for all the couples! And the overall beauty… landscaping and inside the house was so inviting and helpful to provide tranquility when the stress of wedding prep snuck in for a moment or too! The host was the BEST! Would stay again in a heart beat!

Family getaway

We had a great time. Brenann was friendly and quick to respond with any questions. The home is beautiful and had so many activities. We enjoyed the pool, lawn games, feeding the fish, and the game room. Great location close to state parks to explore the outdoors. Definitely recommend created wonderful family memories.

Amazing stay!

Three sets of families from Seattle and Portland stayed here, with kids ranging from 18 months to 11 years old. To cut short, we'd definitely like to return again! The house had everything - from great kitchen to game room to backyard. The house is so big, we can add another family next time. We feel so lucky to have found this spot. Highly recommend, but at the same time don't want many people to know because it'd be a competition to reserve this house in the future ;)

Perfect for mini-reunion

We had a fantastic time celebrating our matriarch’s 80th birthday at the Bird’s Nest. The house comfortably accommodated our multigenerational group of 16. We really enjoyed the outdoor area with its many seating areas and opportunities to play and swim. The fire pit was a cozy place to finish the evening. We cooked several large meals and were pleasantly surprised at how well-stocked the kitchen was with tools, pots and pans, utensils, etc. The double refrigerator was wonderful! Our kids and teens had fun playing air hockey, pool and video games in the game room. The owners were so nice and very responsive with our random questions.

Great vacation

This property was the best equipped home I have rented for my family in the 18 years we have been getting together. Plenty of room for 18 people (8 adults / 10 kids ages 2 - 13). The kitchen was great and had everything we needed, including a large KitchenAid mixer, a large Blackstone grill, 2 refers ... Patio was great with sufficient seating for all 18 to eat outside. Lawn was large and green with plenty of room for games (volleyball, smashball, ladderball, kicking soccer ball - all at the same time). Within the first 30 minutes there, my 13 year old granddaughter said "we need to come back next year" and everything that went on during our stay made others feel the same way.

Great Family getaway!

This house was so beautiful and it had everything we needed inside. We had 15 people which included 4 kids and it fit us perfectly with plenty of space. It was very clean and the pool was heated. The game room upstairs was super awesome board games, poker table, pool table air hockey, darts and a huge screen projector. Loved that it was also dog friendly. The owners were super awesome and they respond immediately as they live close by on the property but far enough for it to still be a private vacation. We actually had something go wrong with the pool and it had a leaking hose and the cover was burning. I messaged them and they immediately came by and replaced the hose. The owners put a lot of thought to this house and decoration was beautifully done. If i had any recommendations to make this home even more perfect was if it had hot tub and a ping pong table.

Has it all in a comfortable home on a beautiful property

Brenann was awesome. She was quick answering all our questions about the property. The home has ample amenities. Swimming pool, fire pit and bonus game/media room offers extra entertainment. It was obvious that there was a lot of thought put in about having their guests feel comfortable. Highly recommended!

We built this home from the ground up and have always had the intentions of some day sharing it with others. We want people to feel at home here and it was designed with comfort in mind.

With large spread out but open spaces. Everyone will find their favorite spot. My personal favorite is the sitting room or sitting next to the fire in the sunken fire pit. I am sure you will love the park like feel of the backyard or wandering through the garden.
