Kiawah's amazing beach is a short 6-7 minute walk away and you also have access to the Inlet Cove community pool (open seasonally).

Great Getaway

Enjoyed our stay for the Kiawah Island Marathon. Very nice location and a short 5 minute walk to the beach. Loved the beach location near Captain Sam's Spit where the dolphins feed. Would definetly stay again.

Quiet and spacious accommodation

We had a great stay on Kiawah at this accommodation. The directions were thorough, and the location gives great access to the pool and beach. We rented bikes and had a great time biking around the island - and down to see the feeding dolphins! Thanks!

Perfect in every way!

We had the best stay in Kiawah thanks to this wonderful cottage in Inlet Cove. It was spotless, roomy, close to the beach and pool, and a top notch dock area to watch the gorgeous sunset over the inlet. My family of five had the best week! I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation that has a little something for everyone! 😊 We can’t wait to go back!

Quiet and comfortable

Very quiet, especially at night, and being a gated neighborhood, kids are safe riding bikes in the streets. A short walk or bide ride to the beach or river.

Family getaway

We had a great time in Kiawah. Our host was very responsive and helpful when we reached out. The property was very clean and had everything we needed. We enjoyed watching the sunset at the dock at the Inlet Cove community pool, bike rides, and the beach. Everything was in very close distance and very easy to navigate, even with a 3 year old. We would definitely recommend this property.

Inlet Cove Cottage

Highly recommend staying here. 5 minute walk or 1 minute bike ride to the beach. Community pool was very quick bike ride and very nice to relax and enjoy. Beautiful sunset from community dock on Kiawah River. Kids enjoyed fishing from the dock. Great communication with the property manager. We had no issues at all and enjoyed our week at Kiawah.

Paradise Perfected

Our family of 5 were more than comfortable in this 3 bedroom 3 bath cottage. The cottage was extremely clean, well stocked, and roomy. The short 5 minute stroll to the beach follows the path through lush foliage. This was our first visit to Kiawah Island. It will not be our last!

Well decorated and good location

This cottage was at a great location....eashy access to pool and beach. It was decorated well and kitchen had all we needed. Main drawback for us was it was a little more dated than pictures showed.....heavy older sliding doors and could hardly see through them to screened porch. We really enjoyed the week however

Relaxing vacation

We had a great stay at 81 Inlet Cove. It was very relaxing. The neighborhood was quiet. The kitchen was well-stocked, the beds were comfortable, and liked that each bedroom had a separate bathroom. The pool area was nice and big. A short stroll to the beach and pool. Susie was very helpful and responded quickly to any questions. Would recommend to others and hope to return soon.

Quiet Getaway

We had a fabulous time biking around the island and made it to the beach 3 different days to watch the sunrise! Kiawah beaches are hard packed sand so you can even bike down the beach to the tip of the island. Great place to stay if you want to get away and enjoy a laid-back vacation, traveling by bike or walking on all of the paths. As a family of 4 we LOVED the 3 full bathrooms - no waiting to get ready in the morning! Outside they have a small outdoor shower that we used to wash all of the seashells and other beach treasures we found. The bike rack was a plus easy to keep them stored and there is a short cut out the back to the bike trail, so you can get on your way without having to go around your car.

Kiawah Week

The property has been updated nicely. New furniture, new appliances, new carpet throughout. It was clean and spacious. Definitely recommend bikes with a cart, makes the short travel to the beach much easier. The property manager Susie did an outstanding job making sure we had a great week! We will definitely go back and would use them again.

A Tree House on the River

This was our first visit to Kiawah and this property did not disappoint! It was nicely appointed and decorated, and a very comfortable stay. The screened in back deck is perfect to enjoy the sounds of the rustling sea pines during an early morning coffee or a late night glass of wine. It is an easy walk to the inlet river to watch amazing sunsets, and only a 10 minute walk to the pristine beach. The neighborhood provides the best of the natural beauty of the island in a luxury setting. In addition, Susie (the property manager) was incredibly responsive! Top notch service by her!

Perfectly Relaxing

We had a fantastic week in Susie's West Beach bungalow. It was clean, comfortable, and located in a nice and quite neighborhood just minutes from the beach. We had the best time riding bikes around the area on the numerous paths, and Susie left great information about how to find everything. If you are visiting the area, we highly recommend renting bikes, the kayaking and bird watching tours, and visiting The Nest Center (about a mile away) for all kinds of activities. We had a cold day, so we decided to go paint in the craft center there. Lunch at the Nest Cafe and Cafe Eugenia...yum! If you are in Charleston, highly recommend lunch or dinner at Amen Street Grill and shopping at the market. We will be back and would rent Susie's place again.

81 Inlet Cove

The property is somewhat dated. The kitchen has what appears to be the original cabinets but did have plenty of glassware, dishes and cooking items. Plenty of seating and the air conditioning worked very well. Loved the neighborhood. Unfortunately a total reconstruction of a house across the street lead to less than a peaceful time since contractors were coming and going for all 5 days were were there. Nothing that could be done about that. In addition a large property is being developed one street over and the sounds of wood chippers and big trucks also was nonstop during our time there. Again nothing that could be done about that but it was irritating. We acknowledge that the listing states starter pack for toilet paper, etc. However given the fact that the entire bill was over 3,000 for a week, it seems cheap to do this to clients. We did place a call about ants in two of the bathroom and bedrooms and someone came almost immediately. We appreciated the property managers quick response. However the last night we encountered several very large roaches in the master suite, bathroom and then the last morning some in the kitchen. Really not acceptable in our eyes but we feel confident that the situation will be addressed. Definitely rent bikes. You can ride easily for miles. The community pool absolutely great. Beach within walking distance, bring your own chairs as there are none in the unit. Must definitely rent bikes, we had so much fun!

We really appreciate your review and I am very glad you enjoyed your stay in spite of the noise - we regret that, even though there was nothing we could do to rectify the circumstance. I would like to respond to the following items: We take accurately depicting our rentals very seriously, and work to describe them them most accurate way possible through current photos and descriptions. With regard to the roaches you encountered on your last Kiawah is a tropical island and has lots of wildlife, including bugs. Roaches and palmetto bugs are very adept at sneaking in to escape the heat anytime doors are opened, even for if opened for just moments. We spray for all bugs once a month during the summer months, and more frequently if needed. We will always address these types of issues right away when notified. As mentioned, we do provide a starter supply of items, but guests can always request more items as needed. It is difficult to gauge which items guests will use the most, as it varies by guest, and we do strive to be cost-effective and not wasteful, for our guests' benefit. We do not provide beach chairs, of which we inform guests in our renter guide, again, to keep our rentals more cost-effective, as it is very difficult to maintain them and ensure they aren't missing for each guest. Additionally, many of our guests prefer the convenience of renting chairs/umbrellas that are already set up on the beach. We agree that biking on Kiawah is the best!! Thank you again.

We purchased our cottage on Kiawah Island in summer of 2005, and I began renting it on VRBO during the weeks we were not able to enjoy Kiawah ourselves. In 2007, a friend asked me if I would help her rent her villa also. Since I loved helping people plan their vacations in the area, I obtained my South Carolina Property Manager's License and began a business - Kiawah By Owner. Pourquoi avoir choisi cet hébergement ?

The Inlet Cove neighborhood has a great location in West Beach Village. This cottage is a short walk to the beach or the community pool. We love walking to the Inlet Cove community dock and watching the sunset over the Kiawah river. We sometimes see dolphins swim by as we sit in the Adirondack chairs at the Inlet Cove community dock. It is a great way to watch the sunset!

Quels sont les atouts de cet hébergement ?

This Inlet Cove cottage has 3 bathrooms that is somewhat unique. Most Inlet Cove cottages only have 2 bathrooms. This 3rd bathroom makes it more comfortable for most of our guests.
