Such an enjoyable three weeks at the Starfish Cottage

Family Fun!

This home was very convenient for our family with everyone having their own rooms. It's located in a quiet neighborhood, and close to everything we needed. We enjoyed days at different nearby beaches, and later afternoons at the home's pool that included a barbecue.

Beds were great. Pool was almost as warm as the outside temp. Bought pool floats for future guests. AC worked good. Had a few ants in the kitchen. Kitchen sink has a drip unless you turn it a certain way. Thanks for the coffee pods and laundry pods. Overall good experience.

Seahorse House

My husband and I stayed at Seahorse House for April vacation with our two adult (20's) children. The house was well equipped and very clean. and comfortable. Especially nice beds! We loved the pool (ate all our "at home" meals outside!) and the it was beautifully maintained. The neighborhood was quiet, charming and convenient. (Naples is somewhat sprawling so driving is necessary).

Great pool, cozy house

This is a fine stay. The house is close enough to the beach to bike (but not walk). The pool is well-kept and private. The house is spacious for 3-6 people. The location is relatively near the loud tamiami trail, but road noise isn't noticeable inside, and not too bad outside. The house has decent amenities (a nice kitchen, a great new grill, 2 showers), but it's pretty oddly maintained: some light bulbs don't work (and others have mismatched coloration), the kids beds are little wobbly, there are assorted broken items like a pump for the few pool toys and a bagless vacuum, and there are no spices (not even salt and pepper). Overall good value though!

Hey Gideon, Thank you for the review! I would also like to thank you for pointing out a few of those items. We have replaced the couple of missing light bulbs and mismatched ones. It appeared that somebody had taken the cap off of the bicycle pump so we have replaced it with a brand new one. There was salt and pepper inside the home during your stay, it was in the top cabinet to the left of the sink, but you gave us the idea to add a 16 spice, rotating spice rack for our future guests. Lastly, the vacuum collection bin was not attached properly at the time of my move-out inspection so this does work as well. Again, thank you! Lovely home, great pool

We stay regularly in Naples Park and when our usual home wasn’t available we booked here. The home is much larger than it appears from the outside, it was just my husband and I, but plenty of room for a family. Clean with all amenities that we needed. The pool (without screen as I prefer) was dreamy. We stayed Monday-Thursday nights and unfortunately the last two we didn’t get much sleep as the house next door had raging parties. Unsure if that home is a rental but there were a dozen loud young men keeping us awake as the master bedroom is very near the neighbors home. We did contact the non emergency sheriff at midnight one evening and they arrived on scene. Completely ok with fun, music and parties until a certain hour on weekends, but not all night long on weekdays. While not the fault of our provider I do feel it important to note as it detracted from the quiet holiday we desired. We would love to stay here again if the neighbors are more courteous. Thank you

Bedbugs.

We came to the rental with no bed bugs, got eaten alive while there in, typical signs with the bites of 3 grouped together mostly, waking up to new bites etc. thought at first it was just some Florida outdoor bug. On our way home upon examining realized it was def bedbug. FOUND a bedbug in our car. BROUGHT the damn bugs to our house as much as we tried not to by taking precaustions while we unpacked. The property manager said they had someone come and check but they did not find any but I am telling you right now they didn’t check deep enough, they hide in floorboards, picture hangings, literally anywhere. Hire a k-9 wow trained to find pests and he would be telling you they are everywhere. Our home was fine before we left, no bites bc this is NOT where the bedbugs came from. 1000% from the rental. DO NOT STAY THERE. Or if you want to, make sure you ask them to treat the property. Oh and they offered no refund and now I’m down thousands from needing to hire an exterminator in my own home. Very dissatisfied.

Lydia, I am saddened and very disappointed to read this review as it is completely baseless. When you reached out to me saying you believed there were bedbugs, we had our pest control company inspect the house within 12 hours. I forwarded you the report immediately stating the pest control company checked the mattresses, box springs, headboards, bed frames, nightstands, surrounding wall canvas, and baseboards in all 3 bedrooms with zero signs of bedbug activity, or any other pest activity for that matter. The house is treated monthly for all pests as well, and has been for over a year. We have also had over 27 guests stay in this house over the past year with zero complaints. In fact, we reached out to the guests before and after your stay to see if they had any of these issues and they both stated they that enjoyed the home and had no issues whatsoever. As a property management company we have provided discounts for various reasons, but we do not provide discounts for false claims such as this. We have the clean pest inspection report and countless positive reviews showing what a beautiful and well maintained home this is. I'm sorry you believe you encountered bedbugs at this property, but I can confidently say you did not. I am happy to provide the pest control inspection report to any potential guests. Family Vacation

Thank you for our stay in your beautiful home. It was enjoyable and meet our expectations. The only thing was the centipedes we encountered throughout the house. The spare room with the other queen size bed would have been more enjoyable if there was a TV in that room as well. Thank you again for allowing us to use your home for our vacation.

Middle of everything you need yet tranquil as can be. Great pool. Great accommodations. If you bring pets, make sure they have flea meds. I had to bathe mine before leaving... other than that, great esperience.

We really enjoyed our time in the Seahorse house. Everything was as pictured and in person the house seemed even bigger. THe kids loved the pool and the beach neighborhood. Will definitely be rebooking in the near future. NO complaints, loved it.
