A Quaint 2 bedroom / 2 Bath just minutes from the Taos Town Plaza
Comfortable for 4 Adults 2 children. Step back into history to the Old Cañon Post office. Just a short drive or walk to the Taos Town Plaza. Enjoy the convenience of being close to Taos Town and the privacy of this beautifully appointed home with high end southwestern style furnishings and art. The front porch lends itself to a cool sitting area in the summer which faces the north and seldom gets direct sun. The original adobe structure will maintain the cool evening temperatures thru out the day during warm summers. There are 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms as well as a reading/library/game room off the kitchen with 2 single pullout sofas for kids only. This home is a 35 minute drive to the Taos Ski Valley and a 45 minute drive to Angel Fire for ski enthusiasts. This home is ideal for 4 Adults and 2 small children.
We loved this place. Lots of room in an authentic, rustic and well appointed casita. Our pups loved their walled front yard, and we enjoyed the Taos Mountain view each morning from the front porch as we sipped our coffee. Will definitely stay again.
Overall a nice place to stay and what we were expecting.
Negatives,
the cleaner is not doing their job. Dishes in the cabinets appeared dirty, found a sock on the living room floor and a garbage under chair in second sleeping area. The dishwasher didn't work and had obviously been broken for a while.
Positives,
Kitchen very nicely stocked with cookware, wifi and apple TV worked very well, management company and caretaker were attentive.

This had been a last minute pick since our original airbnb was cancelled. This was a good location, quiet, had everything we needed, very nice though a bit cluttered.

House is old & authentic, yet well equipped. It is a mixture of both comfort and the charm of an authentic Adobe. Quite, safe area, 3 minutes to Plaza. For the price an interesting property.
Quiet stay in Taos- close to historic shopping district

Relaxing and pleasant stay near shopping, restaurants, and Taos Pueblo. Need a car to get around the town but very short drive to most attractions. Bed is comfortable, kitchen well stocked, large dining table and relaxing living space. Fenced yard enjoyed by our dog. I would stay there again!

House was very spacious, nice and clean. Furnished well. Convenient to the downtown area. The dishwasher was broken but was not an issue as we ate out. Great potential. Did not like the 'demonic' artwork that was hung on the walls, however. The yard, especially the rear could use some attention. Other than that we enjoyed our stay. The management staff, Terra to be exact, was very nice and was always available to answer questions.
Iâm sure this was a lovely home at one time . But everything from the scary looking wiring to the missing tile in the bathroom, the grounds which look like they have had no care in a very long time, the wrong WiFi info on the instruction sheet, the difficulty in operating the tvs (the one in the living room couldnât be turned on at all, and no instructions anywhere for anything!) all added up to an uncomfortable stay. It also smelled musty and was very dark in both the living rooms. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen stocked okay. We would not recommend this place, or stay again.
Close location to Taos center and easy to get to the ski valley, living in a Pueblo for a few days felt immersive and inspiring. Our dog loved it even more than we did.
