Historic Log Cabin, Dreamy Loft Suite, Stone Frpl.

Just minutes north of Nashville, is our Historic Log Cabin built from reclaimed Civil War era logs, it’s recent extensive renovation revealed county doc’s showing it was developed by builder to the stars, Braxton Dixon forJune and Johnny Cash. Perfect for artists or musicians retreat. Full kitchen, bathroom downstairs, loft honeymoon suite w/half bath upstairs, king bed, living/dining room, Stone fireplace & laundry. Sleeps 3 max. Deck overlooking treed acreage. Just 30 mins or less to Nashville attractions, Grand Ol Opry & airport, a quick drive to local restaurants etc
The space
Approximately 1,000 square feet antique log cabin located in Hendersonville Tennessee on the “Cash Mountain” subdivision. Cabin built and decorated with nearly all reclaimed or repurposed furnishings. Complete remodel integrating modern conveniences with antique touches in keeping with the overall history of this unique space. Gorgeous honeymoon suite is upstairs, with sink and toilet. Full kitchen, living & dining room, full bath (large soaking tub with shower nozzle) and laundry on main level. Stone fireplace with gas logs add to the warmth and ambiance. Wrap around deck with outdoor dining table and front porch rockers offer a gorgeous place for soaking in nature.
Guest access
There is a paved driveway to cabin, onsite parking for your car. Cabin is approximately 30 mins to Grand ol Oprey, Nashville and Airport. Restaurants and shopping are a 10 min drive to Hendersonville, White House or Goodlettsville. Self check in available with electronic coded locks.
Other things to note
This cabin is one of 4 structures that originally existed on this property. Much of the property that encompasses the entire Cash Mountain subdivision was developed by Builder to the Stars, Braxton Dixon for June and Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, Tricia Yearwood and others. Two of the structures on this piece of property were destroyed by fire and all that remains are the fireplaces with the “heart” motif signifying development by Braxton Dixon.

Needed to come to Nashville for medical visit. Found this location just a short drive out of town. Property was beautiful. Cabin was very comfortable and well equipped. Will definitely be looking to stay here again.

This rustic cabin is absolutely breathtaking! It is very clean, well stocked and the owner is so friendly and easy to work with. For us it was just perfect! Close enough to Nashville to see the sights but quietly nestled in the country. Loved it!

I read the past reviews beforehand & totally agree this has been beautifully renovated & decorated. We felt very welcomed & comfortable. It was a great place to escape & relax, yet it was close to several places we wanted to visit in addition to Kentucky Downs.

Relaxing getaway

This VRBO was super relaxing, private getaway and short distance from Nashville. Very rustic feel but still has modern comforts. Our hosts were very good at communication and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. My wife and I had a very nice time. I highly recommend this cabin and look forward to coming back.

Perfect!

This cabin is amazing!! It is stunning so well stocked and the perfect retreat for a couples getaway. The host is wonderfully easy to work with and makes the check in process so easy. The cabin was immaculately clean. The location is great! Close enough to Nashville but also far enough to enjoy the peaceful surroundings. I highly recommend renting this property. You won’t be disappointed.

The Perfect Vacation!

This Cabin was so amazing, the pictures do not do it justice! Absolutely Breathtaking! Well taken care of and maintained, cute and cozy, and the view is amazing! By far the best little country get away I've ever had! Property manager is very caring, and takes care of the customers very well, will definitely be staying here again at some point in the near future!

Absolutely awesome

Beautiful, awesome, cozy, welcoming and even better than the pictures in the listing. Quiet and just a wonderful place to call home for a couple of days. Everything that we needed to be able to cook our own breakfast for a couple of mornings. Comfy bed too! Staying here felt like we were worlds away from the hustle and bustle of Nashville. We will be back!!

An absolute dream

The cabin was beyond beautiful. So special with the attention to detail. Both my boyfriend and I loved the history of the place and how quiet it was. Close proximity to attractions without the traffic and hubbub. Great communication with Joy. We’ve already started talking about when we’ll be able to visit again. A must stay!

Cash Getaway

The June Bug Cabin was excellent for my wife and I. The history with John and June Cash tied to this property was intriguing. The owner/host was super helpful and everything was as advertised. Recommend to any couple coming to the Nashville area. Great church nearby —- check it out Long Hollow! Tom and Tracie

A restful break from the city

We visited TN for our son’s Rugby tournament in the area. Being very big Johnny Cash fans this place but all the right notes. From the moment you pull up to the time you leave it was so relaxing and peaceful. The home was amazing! So much history and interesting pieces in the home. The hidden rest room up stairs was a nice addition. I will definitely be coming back next year when we come for the tournament again.

Perfect getaway!!!

WOW!!! What an awesome place! We could not have made a better choice. So warm and cozy and clean!!! And all the history connected to it is so interesting. Not too far from Nashville, and what a lovely area! Host is awesome and has the cabin so beautifully decorated...and has all the modern conveniences. Would go back in a heartbeat! What a fantastic place! This was perfect for the week I spent in Hendersonville. Very cozy cabin and had everything I needed for a great week including fire logs for the fireplace. Joy was a very helpful host and made sure everything was perfect. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again in the future.

Such a beautiful place to stay! The cabin was extremely clean and felt like home to us while we were there. The time and love that has gone into this rental shines through in every part of the cabin.
