Woodhaven cabin is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath cabin on a downsloping acre. Orientation of the cabin adds to the private setting. Beautiful forested views surround. Cabin is loved, managed, and maintained by the owner. Comfortably sleeps 6 guests. The cabin was completely renovated in 2022. The exterior of the cabin is painted forest service green with red trim. The colors blend beautifully with the surrounding trees. Once inside the cabin, the living, dining, and kitchen areas are open concept. Solid hickory hardwood floors extend through the main living areas. A gas woodstove warms the cabin. A large screen t.v. as well as games and books are sure to keep guests entertained. There are multiple skylights in the living area, kitchen and bathrooms. All windows are new dual pane windows. In addition to the gas fireplace there is central heating and airconditioning downstairs. Baseboard heaters in the upstairs bedrooms keep the rooms warm on winter nights. In the summer months there is a portable air conditioner keeping the upstairs cool.
The downstairs bedroom is carpeted and has a queen bed with an attached full bath and a slider to the deck. There are two carpeted bedrooms upstairs, one with a queen bed, one with two twins. The two bedrooms upstairs share a hallway full bath with a shower over tub. No need to bring your own linens, sheets and towels including are provided for guests and included in the cleaning fee.
The outdoor wrap around deck is the perfect place for a morning cup of coffee or an afternoon cocktail. A gas grill is available for all your grilling needs. A picnic table on the deck provides a wonderful place for outdoor meals. Andirondack chairs and a rocking chair complete the picture.
A 5 minute walk up the hill brings you to the trail to a "secret" entrance into Big Trees State Park. The trail is perfect for hiking in the summer, and when mother nature provides, snowshoeing and cross country skiing in the winter.
Best of all there is a sledding hill on the property right outside the cabin. Come enjoy fresh air, solitude and all the amenities the community has to offer. Woodhaven cabin is the perfect romantic getaway cabin for 2 or a family vacation. We look forward to welcoming you to Woodhaven cabin.
