The hosts were awesome and the place was clean upon arrivalâŠbed was extremely comfortable !đđŸ
Will definitely try to stay here again on future trips!
The room is a garage conversion, bed was comfortable nice size tv to watch shows, it is an LG, couldnt login to my other apps like on a Samsung. Clean, neighborhood was quiet and peaceful, no issues. Host contacted to be sure all was okay. Bathroom is right next to bed and has a sliding farm door, not to much privacy and sound proof if you have to use the bathroom, so suggest whomever you take your comfortable with when you use the restroom. All in all, good stay, better than staying at a hotel and noise of other guest keeping you up. Felt like a hotel room without the whole vibe of being a hotel.
Stayed three nights at this very cute room! The owners stayed in contact our whole stay asking if we needed anything and how were we doing! Will defiantly be back to explore more of San Antonio from this place!!
My wife and I spent 4 nights at Emmaâs Garage apt. It was very clean & neat, if you are looking for a good night rest in a nice neighborhood, this is the place, we loved it! David & Gloria
Great place. Very cute, easy access and all you need except for 1 thing: a cold front came through while I was there and there was only a sheet and 1 very light blanket on the bed. Could use another blanket that is a little heavier. Otherwise, this place is great and in a very quiet neighborhood.
My daughter and I stayed for a little over a week. The first word that came to my littleâs mind was beautiful. I loved everything about this room. It wasnât far from Randolph AFB where my daughter was attending her last week at school. The location was perfect for different restaurants. The owners sent a message with instructions before I arrived and checked in with me on the night of arrival to be sure we didnât need anything and that everything was to our liking. Would definitely come back if I make it back to Texas.
The tv didnât work unless we paid extra or used our own apps. We could not even get local tv, which is all we needed. We both use a CPAP machine. There is only one nightstand and we needed two for our machines. We turned a basket over and used it as a nightstand, until we found a folding chair underneath the bed. Then we used the chair to hold one of the CPAPâs. There was no silverware or dishes, only two jars and two bowls.
The bathroom is very small, which is okay, but the shower leaks onto the tile floor causing a slip hazard on the bathroom floor as well as the bedroom floor when you step down from the bathroom, so we asked for another rug. They only had two bath towels. They provided two more towels and a bath rug after we asked for them. We knocked on the doors for the owner, but they didnât answer. After a while, a female, who didnât speak English came out, but was not able to communicate, when we couldnât get the door open. Soon after, Elenas called, but we had figured out the door by then. She seemed nice, but we were not afforded the opportunity to meet them in person. Overall, it was nice. We would stay again, but would be more prepared next time.
My wife and I love this place; itâs a very clean, cozy and in a very nice neighborhood. If youâre looking to relax and rest? Emmaâs cave is the placeđ
