Great property, easy 1 minute walk to the beach. Condo is beautiful and clean and has a great layout and design. I misunderstood that you had no patio or outdoor space to sit at the condo. A very small window view of the ocean from the one room. Pool was not very close but the parking was great. We enjoyed our stay and everything we needed was provided. I would not stay here again just because of no balcony or sitting area outside to enjoy in the evenings, but would recommend for others who didn’t mind that part. Host was great and everything went well with check in. Didn’t care for the lockbox, having to use every time you leave the condo you have to use the key to lock the door.

We had a great time staying at the Barefoot Beach Resort. This was the second time staying in this complex. The location is perfect. The owner was very responsive with an issue we had with the combination lock.

Awesome Stay!

This property was awesome. Upon arrival, everything was just as Denise said it would be. It was a very clean and tidy property. The walk to the beach was hassel free 
 the pool nice and inviting. The fishing dock was well designed, having benches and a water/cleaning station on hand. Denise responded to my MANY emails very promptly and was always happy to answer any questions I had. My family and I enjoyed our stay and hopefully will be booking again. Absolutely a 10/10! 10th Annual Girls Weekend

The property was perfect for the 5 of us. It was close to the beach and easy to get around. The amenities were great. The only recommendation I would have for visitors, especially 5 women for 4 nights, is to bring extra toilet paper and trash bags. We were only supplied with 2 of each and we ran out but the stores were super close and we were able to restock.

Great Condo!

Due to a last minute cancellation we were able to say for a week this February. The condo is beautiful and had everything we needed, even beach chairs. It was super clean and quiet with stunning views of the gulf from almost every room. The beach was a short stroll across the street and there were many restaurants within walking distance. The grounds and the pool area were lovely and very well kept. Denise was so easy to work with and the rental process was very smooth. Because we live local we have stayed at many condos up and down the beach. This was top notch. We can’t wait to return!

Absolutely perfect getaway!!

Huge thank you to the DeVore family for sharing their condo with my husband and I while we escaped the never ending winter weather in the Northeast! The location is perfect with beach access directly across the street. It was very convenient having the beach chairs provided for us! If you stay here with your children, there are also beach toys you can use :) We enjoyed being within short drives of Clearwater, St. Pete’s and John’s Pass Boardwalk. We also loved the heated pool on the property overlooking the intracoastal. One last thing to note - Denise is amazing to work with! Very responsive and very helpful! Thank you again! We can’t wait to come back for a longer stay next time :)

Great location

First off, this is in a great location for access to the beach, literally right across the street. We had 5 of us in here, myself, wife, and 3 boys 16-10. While it will sleep six, that seems like just too many people for this place. I would stick to under 5. The master bed is comfortable but squeaks pretty bad. There were plenty of utensils to make just about whatever meals you would like. The only thing in the kitchen i would want would be more plates (maybe just some cheap plastic ones), since there will most likely be children in here at some point. With all that, this is a great place for the price, And would stay here again if its just the wife and myself.

Review Indian Shores.

The people were really helpful. I would of liked to had more restaurants to walk to. Always felt like you had to be in car. Didn’t care for early check out... 10 AM is very unusual. Usually, at least 11:00. The grounds were pretty. The grills excellent. The beach towels were definitely worn - they even had holes in them. Pool was very nice. The ladies restroom - at pool - light was terrible. I would give the place a 5 out of 10.

Wonderful location!!

This is truly an amazing location. You are steps (3 minutes walking) from both the ocean and the channel, and my husband enjoyed fishing in both. There is a fishing pier on the channel and a nice heated pool. There is a wonderful restaurant with a nice outside deck and a large interior right next door, and a French pastry shop 5 minutes walk away for lunch, breakfast and coffee. We rented bikes for our full stay and did a 30 minute ride to a local park on the mainland with the Heritage Village (small historical buildings from the area) and some beautiful trails. It is about 10 minutes to the grocery store by bike with other nice dinner options 10 minutes in each direction by bike even now, with many places closed due to hurricane recovery. The beach was beautiful and not busy as it was not yet full spring break season. I enjoyed the Bird Sanctuary as a nice surprise when I was walking down the beach. 30 minutes drive by Uber we found the Clearwater Yacht Club where we were able to rent a Hobie one day when the wind was nice for a very reasonable price. There is a nice ocean view and the place is clean and comfy for 2-3 people. The single bathroom might be challenging with more people, but my adult daughter slept in the Florida room and it worked well for the three of us. Appreciated the beach towels and beach chairs and even fishing rods (a bit old but they worked!). We loved our stay and would definitely go back. Great communication as well!

Fine place

The condo was fine but very minimal communication from host. Did not get a message for check-in like we did with the others in the same location nor did they respond when I reached out. Got a generic one a couple of days in without even acknowledging that they didn't respond to my question. Condo was fine and served is purpose but would not book again. I've had much better experiences with other condos at this resort.

Nice condo with easy beach access

My husband and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary. The condo is as described in the listing. It was very clean and pretty spacious for a one bedroom condo- just right for a couple. We loved the easy access to the beach across the street as well as the trolley service to help you get around the strip. The beach was gorgeous and the condo had several beach chairs, umbrella and beach toys that came in very handy. The only downsides to our trip were some issues with entry which we were able to contact the owner for assistance and finally was able to figure it out on our own. But the biggest issue was the bed was really hard so we really never got a good night sleep and awoke with back pain every morning. We moved to one of the sofa beds one night but it wasn’t any better as the springs would poke you in the back. If you like a super firm mattress you may be okay. Despite the bedding issues, we still had a great trip.

Great location, horrible bed

This condo is located right across from the beach, so it was super easy to go back and forth during the day. Lots of fun shops and food within waking distance if you don’t have a car. The pool is also nice and was not overly crowded when we were there. The condo itself is nice and has beach chairs, toys for the kids, and beach towels. For some reason we didn’t qualify to check out fishing stuff or bikes etc with the front office. Things we didn’t like: the unit number is not listed so when we arrived we had to go to the office to ask as the host didn’t respond for 2 days; bed was so hard and uncomfortable, I have never slept on a bed so uncomfortable (my husband who was in the military said his bunk during deployment was better); we were only given one extra roll of toilet paper and the one there was halfway gone so we had to buy our own; also there were only 2 extra pillows and one thin extra blanket- if you are going to have more than two people maybe request extra blankets/pillows. Overall we had a great time, a few small improvements would have made this 5 stars.

Overall good time

Upon walking in to the unit, the air was set on 78, and the unit smelled of urine. The unit was clean, but lacked a little attention to detail. ( air vents had tons of dirt/ dust all over them, the carpet had a gum wrapper and the tables had clear cup rings on them) no big deal
 the master bed however was unmade. The mattress cover had a big stain that looked like urine on it. The bedding, ( comforter, pillows with pillow cases still on them) were sitting on the dresser. These items were not clean. The dirty linen- sheets pillow cases were stuffed in a pillow case sitting buy the front door. It appeared it was in the process of going to the laundry. I reached out to the property owner at 5:30pm on arrival by message, email and phone call. I couldn’t reach her. I ended up staying up until 11:30pm washing linens for the bed, as I went ahead to the beach determined that after a 16hr car ride I wasn’t going to let this ruin my trip.The owner reached back out to me around 10:30am the following day. She was very nice and apologetic. I do believe this was just a misunderstanding with the cleaning crew, but it was also a inconvenience to my family. The owner did say she would do something to make it right, and I was hoping to hear from her before writing the review, but as of today (4 days since check out) I haven’t heard anything. For the price this condo is wonderful. The bed is very hard if you like firm. And it has everything you will need for your stay. We really enjoyed the location and the resort in general was very nice. We would definitely return.

DIRTY broken pullout beds. 1 bed had dirt, sand, EYELASHES, and hair stuck all over it. 1 roll of tp, paper towels and 1 trash bag was provided, when we asked if there were more -Denise told us to buy our own. Both pullouts were broken so we had 1 fully functional bed. Remotes dont work, no batteries for them so good luck watching tv. Horrible experience, Denise was unwilling to work with us snd just wanted to argue. We recvd no discount for broken dirty beds she actually asked us to LEAVE INSTEAD FOR ANY REFUND.

My husband and I have been married for 43 years. He is from Cochranton Pa. and I am from Locust Valley New York. For my first 2 years of college I went to St Leo University and came to Clearwater Beach many times with friends. In 1972 I said..'someday I want a place down here!! ' Someday happened in 2009..
We have 3 adult married children and 6 perfect grandchildren!
Enjoy.... Heaven has to have a lot of beaches like Indian Rocks and Clearwater beaches!!!

We have put a new cleaning process in place since Covid19.
