This 2 bedroom apt offers a cozy & peaceful and location. It is located in the Latin quarter, within walking distance of “Rue Mouffetard”, “place de la Contrescarpe”, The “Jardin des plantes”, Ile Saint Louis, Notre-Dame Cathedral, le “Paradis Latin” Cabaret and the Saint Germain area. One finds plenty of restaurants, shops, cinemas and many cultural sites to visit.


Two famous French Universities, the “Sorbonne” and “The Collùge de France” are located in the district. Last but not least, if you’re a jogger or a stroller, the Jardin des plantes garden is open and free.

This location in the Latin quarter is a perfect base from which to visit Paris. It is very central. There are 2 subway lines and 2 railways stations nearby. It is never more than 15 minutes by subway to the most interesting sites in all of Paris.

The wooden beams on the ceiling give a romantic feeling. The apartment is located on the third floor and is very calm. It is a peaceful oasis within the vivid activity of Quartier Latin.

The apartment has been fully repainted recently. The main bathroom is also totally new. The small bathtub will was replaced by a nice shower. Tiles, paint and sink where also replaced by modern ones.

All 4 windows of the apartment offer great views : the ancient Paris city, Lutecia, had its arenas located there. You may visit the garden and sit on the ruins of the arena. If you have kids the zoo and museum of natural history are in the “Jardin des Plantes” is a short walking distance away.

Apartment set up - the living room and dining room are linked. Kitchen is open, integrated in the dining room and offers a bar. The lounge area comfortably seats 5 guests. The dining table could seat up to 6 guests. Both bedrooms have their private bathroom & toilets. Bedrooms are located at opposite sides of the flat to increase privacy.

The apt has the convenience of a 2nd bathroom linked to the second bedroom. It is small but it is rare to find 2 bathrooms in Parisians apts. The second bathroom is a convenience bathroom, It is not meant to be used as a main bathroom.

Great location. Many steps.

Easy check in and friendly, accurate communication. Beds very good but could use some more lighting. Close to great garden and cafes. Would return.

We stayed here for a girls trip with 3 of us. It was nice to have two bedrooms and bathrooms. The apartment was small but much larger than any hotel room we would’ve shared. The neighborhood was extremely quiet and we felt safe at all times. The stairs were quite steep, but we managed.

Don't stay here

Small, third rate, disappointing. The amount of money we spent on the rent should have provided us with a much nicer environment. Everything was junky, the decor, beds, kitchen. The shower spilled out smelly gunk, it wasn't worth the money. Try somewhere else.

Oh, those Stairs!

The location of this flat was excellent. Myriam, the manager, was lovely. Overall, the flat was fine but small (we were three: me, my husband and our teenaged daughter--tight for the three of us). There are a few things about the property, however, that you should consider that are not really disclosed (and I note that a couple of them were referenced in previous reviews). First, the flat is on the third floor of the building, reached only by a very steep staircase that narrows as you climb. We are relatively fit people and it was a tough go, particularly with suitcases. Second, it really is not a two bathroom flat because the toilet in the second bathroom is essentially unusable. As other reviews reference, it is an electric toilet which apparently means you can't flush anything down it, including toilet paper--there is a little waste can for that. Yuck. The shower in that bathroom still has a very, very slow drain. The other bathroom is miniscule and has no door--just a curtain--so it is a bit awkward if someone is using that bedroom. Third, there is no air conditioning--not uncommon, but on the top floor of the building in summer it is a challenge, especially after hiking up that staircase. Last, the kitchen is tiny and a bit sparse-it would be tough to cook/eat a meal there. All that said, the property managers are attentive-the ceiling in the one usable bathroom leaked during a storm and they attended to it nearly immediately. I would recommend it for a short stay.

Lovely Quiet Apartment in the heart of Paris

The apartment is in a very good location, close to parks, museums, train station, with lots of amenities including a grocers, bistros and boulangerie within a 2 minute walk. The apartment is notably very quiet, since it is on the top floor, and at the back of the building, so very little street noise. The apartment was very clean, well equipped, bright and comfortable. The property manager is very pleasant, provided lots of helpful information, and was flexible on our arrival time. The only downside is that the bathroom that is located off the kitchen, and therefore available to all, has an electric toilet that has a very weak flush, so limited use. The other toilet is only accessed from within the main bedroom, with only a curtain separating it from the bedroom, so awkward for other members to use, when the bedroom is occupied. Would recommend it to friends and family.

Third floor apartment near Jusseau metro.

Host Myriam was sweet and helpful, and waited for us, even though we were almost an hour late to meet her for check in. Adequate space for 2 couples, each w private bath. Nearby metro and Carrefour grocery 2 blocks away. Security good. Quiet. Minimally stocked kitchen for preparing meals. Cramped bedrooms w no place for clothes, except in the suitcase on the floor. Shower drained extremely slow, and electric toilet (seriously) was a perplexing experience. Poor lighting. Budget friendly.
